Whenever I go through this, I keep looking for videos or posts or something that talks about the feeling of separating from family again and living abroad. And I find some but they don't hit the spot. Your videos have been fully grasping exactly what I feel during these times and I'm grateful because it helps to know that other people go through it too. I'll probably come back to these videos every time I go through this :) Thank you!
Hi Pooja No need to knead the dough till it gets done just add the water in the flour mix it and keep it aside for 10 minutes then only knead it for half minute and it's ready.
The next day after your parents leave can be incredibly sad and depressing. You captured exactly how it feels. It’s great to see that you got the motivation to cook regularly specially rotis. I got the same motivation after living with my parents for 2 months. Again relateable ☺️❤️🙌🏻
A easiest way to make the dough. Add water, once the dough is done, no dry part left, just keep it aside for 10-15 mint. Meanwhile u can make curries. In 10-15 minutes, dough will be all soft and ready to make roti.
If you struggle with making dough, just get a food processor, it's much easier. You don't have to knead. Just throw in the flour and water, and it's done. Then, you just need to roll out the roti.
Good job! Instant pot has been a life saver for me (working mom of 2 kiddos ) . Also worth looking into kitchenaid - that’s amazing for almost any kind of dough and of course other baked goods
I feel the same way you guys did when my parents left after being here for 2 months. The house felt empty and weird; also, my puppy was sad. This is a situation that most immigrants have.
Awesome seeing you cooking because even I am a full time working woman and also had maids at home but planning to come to Canada next month on PR. Sometimes I think how I am going to manage everything especially the cooking part because I feel it’s very time consuming and need lots of patience. My husband makes very good Roti and also knows to cook but i can’t rely on him all the time. After seeing you even i got some motivation. Slowly even we will learn to do everything by our own. ❤ we can do anything if we have good life partner and it’s okay if you buy tiffin sometimes. All the best 👍🏻
Pooja and Saaransh - you both are my fav TH-cam couple. Pooja your videos looks so connecting and everything you show is so relatable. Absolutely love how you enjoy every moment of life with your beautiful smile and you really work hard which is so evident. More power to you guys. Love watching your vlogs, so keep them coming. Love and hugs from the Maldives. xx
Hey Peekapoo.... one advise for you. I used to struggle the same way you are struggling to kneading dough but now no more struggle. Just mixed the water in the flour and leave the dough for 5-10 minutes. it will be soft and ready to cook.
Peekapoo you made me cry again in this video !! Feeling so sad right now !! Glad to know that you have started cooking and i Hope you get busy with your daily routine life so that you can heal faster !!
Hey, I too don’t like making dough … but what I do is add the flour and salt add required amount of water and mix it with fork .. come back in 10 mins and then kneed it It takes 2 mins and the dough will be softer and
Cooking is actually can be a great couple bonding activity... may be you are not a great cook now but enjoy the journey.... trust me it will worth it when u hv baby. I was a horrible cook a few years back... but now i just love to cook for my daughter and husband
I knead all kind of dough in my kitchenaid. I keep dough in fridge for 3 days. Rotimatic is good but after few month it gives error and people get technical issues.

There's a dough blade in the vitamix. Very easy to make dough, I.make it in ninja blender. If not buy kitchen aid stand mixer when there's a sale. Easiest way to make.dough and you might end up becoming a baker too.
hi, sorry i was so rude in my last comment saying u exaggerate being busy n avoid cooking.....but i m happy seeing that u r loving cooking now....happy to see u motivated
It's hard to get used to a home without parents but if you need to survive in Canada its necessary and it's a every international student hardship as you can't go back so often to your parents
HI DI , I dont even know if u will read this comment or not but let me tell you i have been watching your vlogs since 2019 when i was preparing for my ielts , for me it took like 4 years to come here because of some difficulties in my life before long story short you motivated me through a worst part of my life and now am in Canada for about 7 months honestly its not easy here either as a student but its not easy anywhere without struggle even in India, however, i wanna say I feel like I personally know you even i never met u in person, I WISH I CAN MEET U SOME DAY I ALSO LIVE IN GTA❤❤ God bless u both❤
Hi Pooja, try investing in a dough maker, I have one and that has made my life a lot easier. It makes my dough for 5 people in less than 5 mins. With that we can also make daal vali roti lol
That’s awesome. But you should invest in some kitchen appliances like dough maker or roti maker or like an air fryer. Believe me it’s worth it if you’re a working professional.
You remind me of how I am every time when mom leaves…😢😢😢 non stop emotional mess and crying randomly remembering and I used to kiss her stuff after she left 😅😅 it’s not too much I would smell her bedding lol
I don't want to judge anyone because it's hard for a lot of people to have children nowadays but if down the line you don't create your own family here, it would be best to move back home and be with your family because family is literally everything. No use suffering with this loneliness.

Being only round and soft roti is the not a major issue, with practice it will be soon. But thing is homemade fresh economical healthy food
