  • Silly Putty is awesome! James Wright created it, Peter Hodgson and Ruth Fallgatter decided to market it and Peter Hodgson made it famous! The moment Silicone Oil and Boric Acid met in 1943, they were inseparable. Their loving union spawned a bouncing baby ball that changed the the toy world forever. It's fun compounded in this, the Silly Putty edition of Where's the Fun From?

Share your favorite memory of playing with Silly Putty below!
I'll go first. When my oldest brother joined the Navy, he bequeathed me his Marvel comic books. I remember using Silly Putty to pull an image of the Incredible Hulk off the page and then stretching it to make his muscles even bigger. Nothing else is Silly Putty.

I thought this a excellent video , and wanted to thank you very much for sharing it with us . Btw , I remember having Silly Putty in the early 60s when I was around 4 or 5 , I brought it outside to see how high I could bounce it and it hit the sidewalk once and was full of little bitty pebbles, well that was the end of my Silly Putty , I think I had it 2 or 3 hours before I messed it up , but I did get to play with it inside and did everything they did on tv , and I can still remember the unique smell it had , the Silly Putty that you can make at home just doesn't have that real Silly Putty smell , but anyway ,,,, thanks again for bringing back all those memories 👍
