He came from a very fucked up childhood and proved that no matter what you come from and all the obstacles in your way, you can be whatever you want in life if you give it your all!

I can remember, very vaguely, as far back as about 13 months, though the memory is very grey, blurred. I was born overseas and did not meet my father until he brought my mother and me out to Aust and came with a crowd of men to meet us. All I remember was being held in my standing mum's arms as she strongly stopped me reading out my arms to the me who'd come to meet us. I recall a feeling of resisting her holding me back and strong feeling about touching one particular man there. They told me later he was completely overwhelmed when he saw his own 14 month old child he'd never met just suddenly pick him as her father out of a group of men. My mother nearly died of fright, too and let him take me and I stopped crying, throwing tantrums etc they tell me I often did as a child. Later memories, around 18 months were clearer and in colour, too. I can remember my mum's late pregnancy and birth of my brother,when I was less than 2. Such memory is amazing, if they are goid memories, but there were also many bad ones, later on. They can really mess up your life. Sometimes, certain forms of therapy and some meds can help dome. But not all. Meds like Lithium etc and conventional therapy did nothing for me. ButI found my own natural solutions, plants, therapies rtc that did help me when all else and everybody else failed to heal trauma. If you want to heal, you will heal. But it takes a bit of time and patience, work on your body and soul, self discipline etc to stay off the booze, substances, junk food, toxic relationships etc that typically plague traumatised people. Real human love heals trauma, but is a rare commodity and rarely accessible. Especially if from a deprived, troubled background and labelled violent. Crazy, weird, deranged, antisocial. But I always wondered why people kept pestering me, if I'm that antisocial, bad tempered etc. When I just wanted to be left alone in peace, interacting with beauty of nature, pets, plants, creativity and wonder etc. If the rest of the so called 'normal' society is a o normal and I'm so weird, insane etc, how come they make absolutely no rational sense to me? Eg deliberately annoying Bipolar people, simply because their own lives are so boring? I notice they don't bother other 'mad' types, like the 'Scizophrenics', though. Not after a few of these went on a few rampages with guns, machetes etc and simply started killing random society that bugged them.
If asked which vocalist represents more closely my own life, it won't take me more than a split second to decide. For sure Axl had a rather difficult life. He is a testament, though, for all of us on how INCREDIBLY TALENTED abused children can be. Just if we want to, though. 😊
