- As the World Turns January 21, 2010. Jack visits the spot where the boathouse used to be and meets up with Carly there. They talk about how they always come back to each other and how, despite their fighting, things fall apart when they're apart. Jack confesses his feelings but Carly wants him to hold back until he's actually hers again.
"we'll both walk away and keep our distance." "okay. you first." i can't believe it's been ten years since this iconic scene and it still gives me chills. carjack forever ❤

This is literally the best scene in ATWT history. Every time I watch it, I cry. This is why Michael Park and Maura West won their Emmys. Their chemistry is undeniable.
Gwendolyn Kinsman They both won their Emmys for the episodes in 2009. That's how the Emmys work.
I clearly was referring to their chemistry being undeniable is why they won. Reading comprehension goes a long way. Perhaps you should learn how to do that.
Agreed. MP and MW could have won Emmys every year, but this is THE CarJack scene.

@@tessagattullo4700Actually, Michael Park did when his Daytime Emmy in 2011 for these scenes!!!! You want to know who submitted those scenes for him? Michael didn't submit them...Maura and her husband, Scott, did!!!!! Michael wasn't even going to participate in the Daytime Emmys that next year at all, that's why Maura and Scott submitted his scenes. And then he won again!!!!

I know right. And the thing with them that is very different from other supercouples is that they made each other better over the long run. There were scenes they could do at the end that didn't come at the beginning. Instead of stagnating, they progressed and IMO, got sexier.
this is amazing! It's always Carly pooring her heart out to Jack, its amazing to see Jack do this. I caint wait tell Carly finaly tells Jack that she loves him, shes only said i need not to love you so much. We all know she does and he knows she does but i want her to say it to him, like he has said it to her.

Michael and Maura totally ROCKED these scenes! Also, how adorable does Maura look here?? Loved her hair and makeup-- she looks so natural and gorgeous. No wonder Jack can't help himself!!

I don't really care if he wins, which is unlikely anyway. Im just glad that both Michael and Maura chose to submit the same thing because it shows that they thought this episode was epic just as much as we did. So proud to be a CarJacker!

Mine too. What a gift that MW and MP originated Carly and Jack, and we got to watch them as CarJack all those years. At the time it seemed to take forever from the breakup to this scene!

the best non carjack moment of the clip: when carly, in 10 seconds, gives the basis of Jacket's relationship-pre liberty has cancer-food & sex. Then comes guilt. A real solid foundation lol. Glad someone snuck that one in there. Just adds a lil sumthing w/o you really knowing it

i love yet hate this clip. it's one of the best scenes. i can't stop from watching it. but i hate knowing after all the sweet words, caresses & passion, Jack breaks Carly's heart & she hits the bottle again all b/c he feels sorry for Janet. Man up Jack. Yes it's crappy timing but you're putting off the inevitable.CarJack better be together come Sept. I hope their reunion is 2x this scene after Friday eppy & monday's when Carly drinks again.
