I’m always reminded why Utopia is the best deck in this game.
When I saw that "rank up a million times" deck, and the Dullahan... I was _certain_ that it was going to somehow get to Ghostrick Angel of Mischief for a potential FTK.
Same. Roots seemed like a less exciting result.
That 2nd game reminds me of a duel in the 2nd XYZ event. Unbeknownst to me, the event was a on the verge of being over (seriously, why are all the events even *SHORTER???)* and I decided to ditch Numeron because it was boring, and my anti-Numeron deck because despite encountering it every other duel for 3 days straight, I literally never found *ONE* person playing it after making the deck.
I made a Kuriboh deck were I would summon 2 Utopia Roots and surprise someone with Numeron Dragon, because, while pretty much everyone just cheats it out with Draglubion, it's summoning requirement is two Number XYZ monsters with the same name and rank. Not only did I do this against someone playing Utopia, but it was like an hour before the event ended.

That deck was something else, spent an hour and a half in the event until I made Shooting Quasar Dragon lmao
I must have lost 5 in a row just trying to get anything cool done with that loaner, and only managed to pull off the Magestic Stardust because I got matched against someone else crazy enough to try playing that mess.

@@laescama497 im with you. also you forgot Utopia/heroic challengers, and Galaxy Eyes OTKs. I can appreciate the extensive exceed plays to a point, but theres multiple FTK's and OTKs that could have ended that duel in 1/4th of the time.

there are 2 , the zoodiac boarbow & the R4NK Ghostrick
Ghostrick Angel of Mischief is 10 materials and you win the duel.
Boarbow just wipes the enemies board if it inflicts battle damage with 12 under it.
Seeing Black Garden is almost like seeing Yajiro Invader. You know that the person playing it is up to some shit. That card is NEVER used for anything healthy 😂

On an unrelated note , that Loaner only event was even worse than i thought. I tried to get 1 win with each deck & i did it in only 6 games , but i kid you not , i never summoned anything from the extra deck ever , with none of the loaners. It was just opponents insta surrendering after i normaled summoned 2 monsters that both had 1500 or more atk
i only played 5ish games myself.
my 1st win was with the Hope deck, and it was a 33 turn stalling game where i ended it with cowboy for game as the opponent sat on stuff i couldn't remove.
game 2 i won with the hero deck via Aqua dolphin snipings in a handful of turns.
game 3 was just a domination from using the opponents neo space and a convert contact to get the Aqua dolphin fusion to snipe their hand.
Somehow that aqua dolphin fusion didn't even count as a fusion summon. do contact fusions count for the fusion mission?
That last duel was soooo mean.

Not gonna lie, thought the Utopia roots deck was ether Exodia based or Angel of Mischif based

Bro just started from Rank 1 and went up to 12 1 rank at a time just to get this overkill done
That second duel was so underwhelming like dude went through all that effort for something he could've easily done with 2 lvl4s -> Utopia Double
nah, making utopia roots do anything, specially when done in kind of a homage to the duel it was summoned in the anime, was extremely nice for me.
the duel has yuma's opponent do basically the same (rank up a guy from rank 1 to rank 13 actually, but numerronia is the only 13 we have and it can only be summoned with numerronious effect), and then yuma uses rank down to make roots, which gains ungodly amounts of attack and kills the guy on an stupidly big otk similar to what happened on screen here.
It's like war crimes: all of those horrible genocide commited and the goals is for something underwhelming, but people still do it anyway

Not with RUMs I don't think, they pretty much all specify either Chaos cards, specific archetypes (Utopia, PK, and Raidraptors), or need the Xyz to have no mats
you can try doing it like this : Zombie World to to make everything Zombies , Reprodocus to make Utopia Roots Dark , then use Astral Force on roots to transform into alucard then stack the mischief. But you have to use the utopia/lyrilusc/zoodiac cards to stack the xyz materials.

Make it a rule where burn damage can't be dealt to the opponent turn one and all these types of FTKs become unplayable. Burning for time would also take a hit but that's also a good thing so overall nothing is lost only positives gained

Telefon would be Okay at 1, because it can't cycle itself and at that point its just an unreliable Morphtronic revival on a soft OTP, so looping it requires finding a different way to return it at which point you probably could have just looped better targets
each episode is just another way to summon Bishbaalkin, I bet VW can do it, or literally any deck
