The Death Dealer is one of my favorite paintings by one of my favorite painters. Its pretty awesome to have a reference to it like this in a Conan game

Really amazing video, I really love the Kingscourge story. I just wish Funcom showed as much dedication to Conan Exiles, it's an amazing game, but they are neglecting it. Such a beautiful and original game. Great Video.

@@Eradicati0nn I wish you luck with the lore of Conan exiles, would love to find out more lore about the different races, Kushite for one , has very little lore around them. I just hope update 3.0 isn't just more new placeables and a new style of building the game needs a regular , thing like an invasion by pirates on the coast, probably just more random monster attacks, or something like rotational invasion areas on each map.
@@noragequiters1607 I definitely wanna look at some of the lesser-known things like the Poitain and such for future lore. Apparently Update 3.0 is "the biggest update Conan has ever had" but its not a new map, magic, crossplay or any other of the easily-made guesses, so I have no idea what it could be. I do have really high hopes, more than just some new building pieces or just a quest. I want something game-changing to give it real longevity

After knowing his history you realize that killing him is a mercy, our freedom of the exiled lands is his freedom from his curse. As the old journey diary said, defeating him is ending a long time tragedy, that's what makes for me his rest in peace a bigger archievement then obtaining the other pieces. Truly one of the few enemies in this hell of place who deserves to be respected.

I of course won’t as I you to divulge such a personal part of your life somewhere so public as TH-cam. You speak with such elegance and grace. Your voice is soft warm and almost feels as if it intends to keep the listener warm with each velvety smooth word. If you haven’t already looked into some kind voice over acting career you should. You have a gift.

I love the exiles lore, as painful as it is. When I looked up Telith after discovering and building on the island Ned after her, I was dumbfounded... and I will never move.
Painful is the best word to describe some of the lore. I'm preparing to delve into some other characters and I know its probably gonna be some heavy stuff
Great video. Some of those scenes were outstanding. In particular, the scene with the child holding his mother's hand. How did you pull that off? Where the heck are there children in CE? I am really curious how you managed to pull that scene off, especially with the hand holding. Hat's off. That all must of taken some time to get right. Awesome work.
There aren't any children in CE, even with mods 😂 That scene was three NPC's with the middle one scaled down below the vanilla scalar limits. His animation is a Praise to Mitra dance (I believe) stalled on a single frame, and he's lined up just right with the mother figure so it looks like he's holding her hand/arm. Glad you enjoyed it!
Very good story. You should create a conan guide in a story telling form, guiding a playthrough in a way the lore would also make chronological sense to the player progressing through. Would be a very immersive experience.
Well, obv Deathdealer is from Frank Frazetta art work and was adapated to conan since he did many conan illustrations... dude i think you should do the irl history too

I always thought that the Kinscourge, in his madness, eventually betrayed and killed Telith. There's a odd female ghost in a gibbet/cage in the Black Keep, and most of his derived weapon names are like "Betrayal" and "Telith's Lament" and such.
I did think that initially, but some pieces of lore indicate that he locked himself in The Black Keep to ensure he couldn't harm Telith, Xalthar or Xaltana. I believe Telith's final resting place is at Imi's Cradle on her island, especially as the old journey system used to refer to her ghost being present on said island
He is indeed based off the Death Dealer. Frazetta's drawings were used in quite a few Conan characters I believe, though I'm not sure if they were purpose-drawn for the franchise or not
I was curious to see if Death Dealer was mentioned and glad to see I'm not the only one. I haven't found what that Frazetta painting was created for but it blends seamlessly into this world. The look was adapted well, I even like the helmet's face better than any official Frazetta sculpture I've seen. The iron cleaver looks a lot like that axe too.
there are a few questions I always had questions about that I never saw anyne touch on. we know the serpent men ended up in the volcano. we know they were pretty manuplitave and the lemurians hated them. But how and why did the giant kings meet and befriend them? it cant ever be as simple as 'oh yeah he's my friend' he was here first so you humans cant touch them or we throw down. Why? There are these weird sand beast/ mutts in th deseart around ine singlar temple. Why? and why are they not found anywhere else in the world? what is the full official story of the frost temple. from what I understand it was sumoned her by sheer accident from the outer dark, is that how that lore rolls? Freya talks about how she had a hand in bringing the the noethern people here and Ymir's daughter is among them. why if she's Asir as she claims she is? there's also the smaller obscure stories as well that aren't touched on either. like that fort that was beseiged in days gone by, and a few others that few talk about either like deketo and her place in the jungle. this is why that game is so fun, it's diverse histories that happem all over the map.
It’s the previously witch queen, razma is her own persona, my understanding is that the lemurian queen or “witch queen” transfer her consciousness into a mask which later became known as “the mask of witch queen” and from that mask she managed to possess razma’s body, so basically the witch queen needed a host or in that case a body.

Honestly I thought it was at first, though given that Tyros killed The Priestking, I guess that's where the name comes from
