That towel trick on the threaded bar works fine but if it is really stuck. Then try threading on two nuts and tighten them together on the bar for something to grab hold of with a wrench. 👍

Great job but how dd that water get into the valve top? And how safe is the new one from the same?

I think it's called jam-nut. you can put 2 nuts on a stud, tight against each other, then unthread the stud with the bottom nut. it will push on the top nut, and since they are tight together, they bind on the threads and stay in place.

Use liquid nitrogen for holding or freezing, for another valve

Good job, I used to work for Auma Actuators, I used to do the motor controls for the actuators, their called matics, But ended getting sick and come down with mental illness, and ruined my career, but had a great time learning, be grateful that you have your occupation, because not everyone understands or can compete with those jobs.

Great job a usual jumper man tech. I work at university. I’m a powerhouse mechanic. Work on a lot of Industrial hvac equipment. What I like to do on the signal handle isolation valve is to open and close the several time to properly seat the gasket seals. Stroke back and forth. Then if don’t hold dump the entire heating loop. Hot water system are a pain in the ass, because of the chemical treatment in the heating loop. Tear down and wear out gasket and pump seals throughout buildings. Chilled water is always cleaner, but is condensate a lot causing bad rusty issues when not great insulation. Good luck
