    My first coloring book went live on Amazon KDP today. 🥂One of the last things I did before publication was get your Gumroad coloring book keyword research. I had been watching your YT on making and publishing your dinosaur coloring book on repeat. It took me weeks to fine tune everything but now I have an AI powered workflow and it’s fast. Thanks for the inspiration ❤

    Just getting started in KDP and really benefitting from your videos thanks Paul. Concentrating on adult coloring books at the moment, and have 12 sales in my first 2 weeks - which to be honest I'm quite pleased about. Hopefully things will build from there. Need to get more methodical on the keyword research, but it's not an enjoyable part of the process!

    This is extremely helpful. I simply repeat all the keywords in my title and description - then Amazon KDP kicks it back to me to because I've done this. Each time they do, I'm utterly confused about the type of keywords for my book to use. Thank you, Paul.

    Hi Paul, Thank you for another great video! My brother and me always rely on your channel for our KDP journey. On putting keywords in subtitles, we find that since 2 weeks ago KDP has become very strict about it. They don't like to see repetitive words in title and subtitle. And by this, i don't mean keyword stuffing. They consider 'journal' and 'notebook' and 'book' are the same thing so we can only use one of those words once. Half of the journals I published got sent back to edit due to this issue. I've also read on a KDP facebook group that someone got an e-mail from KDP saying she has to take 6 of the books she published 4 years ago down for the same problem. Again, always appreciate your videos Paul. Thank you.

    Hey Paul.
    That's a totally different approach form Nuria's strategy. This kind of titles are everything but creative and catchy. I wonder which strategy would work better 😅

    • @paulmarles
      @paulmarles  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Depends on the type of books. Most low and medium content books don't need catchy titles as they are functional. I'd rather get my books ranked and seen rather than languish at the bottom of the searches because I opted for a nice catchy title. If it's kids story books, novels then that's a different matter. They rely more on a marketing startegy then just keywords.

    • @b3rt33
      @b3rt33 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pretty sure 'Children's' would be correct in this situation - i.e. with an apostrophe. I would imagine there will be all sorts of server side matching of poor grammar, poor spelling etc. to enable Amazon to bundle similar terms together. I would stick with the correct grammar, unless the book needs something cooler - e.g. too kool for skool

    • @paulmarles
