Hello I have the same GX77 unit in great shape except recently all of the sudden it stopped recording in both direction with line in!!!’ It still plays previously recorded tape and all functions work fine, except slowing down in FF and rewind toward end of reel so someone suggested I buy a restoration which I did but never dared venturing into replacing these parts Would you be willing to help for $$ I live in New England on US Thanks

The main problem is usually engines and mechanisms, not electronics).
