I so clearly remember as a child listening to heavy metal during the 1980's, & entire worlds opened up for me, bands such as Iron Maiden, Testament and other great bands such as "Death" and Queensryche ( "Roads To Madness" by Queensryche for example is an Eternal Spiritual Truths classic), etc. A little later on in the early 1990's I got into the beauty of Blind Guardian with their beautiful album 'Somewhere Far Beyond". So many beautiful things that fake bands like van halen and ac/dc could never come close to offering. I never understood when people would tell me that Heavy Metal music is far too heavy to get into and too overwhelming. I always laughed, since I was a child, how people would tell me that this isn't music, but only loud cannons firing. I ALWAYS laughed as they tried so hard to sway me, but could never sway me an inch. From family members to friends to pathetic pastors in churches (and let me tell you that you will NEVER find more fake people on the planet than fear-monger pastors and priests in churches), as nobody hates our beautiful Mother Earth and Nature and divides people's more with hatred than pastors in churches, and they mostly hate themselves. And I never once cared for their blind and pathetic opinions, I always laughed hysterically inside. I always laughed hysterically how they couldn't "get it." . Because to me, when listening to heavy metal, it was always a blissful sweet symphony of beauty !! For me, it was always so soft, and wonderful, so welcoming, and Magical !! I feel so sorry for the humans that have no capability to ever understand the beauty of real heavy metal music, because heavy metal has so many beautiful Spiritual messages from the infinite Universe that the blind ego-based mind of duality is afraid to see, and afraid to understand. There is nothing more demeaning, more brainwashing, more self-destructive, than the lies of Christianity and Religion. As the mind is totally blind to divine intuition that is speaking all the time, as the mind can only "label" and "blame" and knows NOTHING. For example, christians will tell you that heavy metal music is "evil" , everything is evil to them and dark, because they are filled with darkness, how they see the world is only a reflection of what's inside them. Their inner hells. Listen to rock bands that speak about the illusion of time, and alchemy of sacred plants, and also your divine 7-chakras in their songs. As well as talking about the countless lies of the "I" as who you think you are is total illusion (just as Corrosion of conformity does so well through their discography). Those 4 things are vital, and when you do you will find beautiful Spiritual music from bands like Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian, Death, Isis, Neurosis, Tool, and Queensryche, as well as softer magical bands like Pink Floyd etc, that is speaking to Soul (not the ego-mind) ;-) . Fake bands like Pantera and the ac/dc's of the world cannot touch these bands. And stay away from "Nu metal" bands and 'commercial bands like the Limp Bizkit's of the world and the Papa Roach's of the world. It's total society garbage about the blind ego-mind, or about labeling and blaming (like pathetic pop diva's and eminem who are always labeling and blaming in stupidity of victim consciousness), and "victim consciousness" nonsense that doesn't serve you in any way. < 3 A band like "Blind Guardian" for example is loaded with beautiful Spiritual truths in their music catalog. It's very deep so you have to look beyond what people tell you what the songs mean. Don't follow "labels" of what other people say the songs mean as the mind can only label things at the surface of images and is blind, as these songs all mean YOU in many deep ways that the left-brain thinking ego mind of thought cannot see or understand. In one of my Ayahuasca ceremonies after total surrender of the ego as I surpassed the illusions of death, eye was given the sword of light from the Universe. The sword of Light came through me in magical beauty as I was downloaded massive amounts of knowledge love and wisdom through my heart chakra. This magical sword is far beyond how you see a sword in a picture in the illusions of images as this sword is multi-dimensional as I became "one" with the sword, the sword was me and I was the sword, as ONE in infinite beauty and magic in the 5th dimension of Consciousness. I’ve seen only one better. It was in South Antarctica. There was only 5 people there, two which were scientists that only listened to classical music. They converted to metal after they heard ‘The Trooper’ live. The other three were roadies.

Second you are right, most of the rap songs do change subject every 30 seconds but that doesn't necesseraly mean that it does not make sense or that it's a bad thing. Third there are genres of music such as nu-metal that mix metal and rap. And fourth , to each their own, just cuz you don't like rap or prefer metal to rap doesn't mean that it's worse than metal. I also prefer metal but I'm also a big fan of some rappers. And there is a lot of good rap. It's all a matter of opinion. But hey you have yours I have mine and I respect that. People have to stop hating and comparing music genres and tastes. Just love the genres that you love and respect other genres. Music is music it's to be heard and enjoyed not hated... there are great rappers in their 45's - 50's. And sorry guys, but when I see the Gun's, or even the Iron Maiden in that video, you really see they have lost a lot. Just compare one live of the Trooper in the 80's and this live, and you'll understand. Rock and Hip Hop are both really good music style, and they've influenced each other for a long time, before you were born. Stop being elitist, guys
I'm a guy from germany and i'm listening to Techno and electronic music since 1989. I'm with it with full passion and my heart, it's my way of live and the music i love. But one of the most important things is to stay open minded and curious for everything else going on there, where people around the world getting lucky and happy with their music, feeling the energy and even experience something like a salvation. For me as a techno fan, Iron Maiden is getting something very big for me in the last days. I listened to the Trooper in my Car in the way to work this morning, very loud. I had tears in my eyes because it was overwhelming. It's crazy what music can do with your soul and your feelings. Just like good Techno tracks for me, the music of Iron Maiden also helps me to feel the energy of life in a very intense way. I really love Iron Maiden! It's just fantastic...finding no words for it.

I’ve seen Maiden live over 20 times, mostly in the UK, but I was at this gig in Chile. Absolutely epic - the energy was spine tingling - on a level I’ll never experience again. Much respect to all the Maiden fans in South America.
It still feels the same way in an arena with a 10th of the people the UK concerts hold... in Indianapolis market square arena in the 80's one of the BEST damn shows ever!

I listen to 80's and 90's rap religiously. Heard run to the hills 5 years ago and I don't listen to anything else in the gym. They are amazing. The level of skill they have is insane. The harmonics they do with their guitars is incredible. I studied piano and jazz trumpet back in the days and the shit they do requires a lot of talent.

And for you not to feel offended I said is not personal. Is just that I have red a few books of history, I have memory and plan to keep in mind what kind of facts describe those nations in the past and nowadays. You can't get any good from that list of countries you made for me. But some are worse, and for me is the Brits and their offspring (the USA, canada, aussies, SA.). Belgians and Dutch played cooler, but just as guilty. Spanish, French and portuguese also top 3.

es por algo histórico, en dictadura y post dictadura en Chile se veto a varias bandas desde Queen pasando por Blur llegando a Maiden entre otros, entonces a los tipos se les metio en la cabeza venir a Chile a tocas, y la primera vez fue la raja y desde ahí siempre que vienen llenan el lugar que sea. I was 11 years old when I went to that concert with my 18-year-old sister and my 12-year-old brother, it was incredible, that was my first concert and the feeling was unique, the show was incredible and when you heard the crowd sing it left you goose bumps

Iron Maiden's "Live after Death" was arguably one of the greatest live albums ever recorded. A couple decades later, they are still as tight as a drum with the energy level of people 1/3 their age. Good grief, are they brilliant.

I’ve seen only one better. It was in South Antarctica. There was only 5 people there, two which were scientists that only listened to classical music. They converted to metal after they heard ‘The Trooper’ live. The other three were roadies.

Second you are right, most of the rap songs do change subject every 30 seconds but that doesn't necesseraly mean that it does not make sense or that it's a bad thing. Third there are genres of music such as nu-metal that mix metal and rap. And fourth , to each their own, just cuz you don't like rap or prefer metal to rap doesn't mean that it's worse than metal. I also prefer metal but I'm also a big fan of some rappers. And there is a lot of good rap. It's all a matter of opinion. But hey you have yours I have mine and I respect that. I'm a guy from germany and i'm listening to Techno and electronic music since 1989. I'm with it with full passion and my heart, it's my way of live and the music i love. But one of the most important things is to stay open minded and curious for everything else going on there, where people around the world getting lucky and happy with their music, feeling the energy and even experience something like a salvation.
For me as a techno fan, Iron Maiden is getting something very big for me in the last days. I listened to the Trooper in my Car in the way to work this morning, very loud. I had tears in my eyes because it was overwhelming. It's crazy what music can do with your soul and your feelings. Just like good Techno tracks for me, the music of Iron Maiden also helps me to feel the energy of life in a very intense way. I really love Iron Maiden! It's just fantastic...finding no words for it.

I’ve seen Maiden live over 20 times, mostly in the UK, but I was at this gig in Chile. Absolutely epic - the energy was spine tingling - on a level I’ll never experience again. Much respect to all the Maiden fans in South America.

I listen to 80's and 90's rap religiously. Heard run to the hills 5 years ago and I don't listen to anything else in the gym. They are amazing. The level of skill they have is insane. The harmonics they do with their guitars is incredible. I studied piano and jazz trumpet back in the days and the shit they do requires a lot of talent.

You can't get any good from that list of countries you made for me. But some are worse, and for me is the Brits and their offspring (the USA, canada, aussies, SA.). No por nada salió En Vivo! Y es reconocido como disco oficial de la banda y no un bootleg como ha pasado con otros conciertos. Yo tuve la suerte de verlos dos veces en mi país y es de los shows que no me arrepiento de haber visto.

Iron Maiden's "Live after Death" was arguably one of the greatest live albums ever recorded. A couple decades later, they are still as tight as a drum with the energy level of people 1/3 their age. Good grief, are they brilliant.
