Jacques, again you create another exquisite video of magical Roatan. I'm concerned about the white disease on the coral. Is there any way to prevented or cure it? how healthy is the coral in your opinion? Is the Marine Park able to treat the coral? Hello Lenny... Thank you for writing again. I really appreciate your support! There is no way to treat the White Band Disease. It was a major problem in the 1980s, but somehow the Staghorn Corals in Cordelia Banks survived. So, now biologists are studying this area to find out if this strain of coral is resistant to the disease, If it is, then it could help repopulate the Caribbean. I saw very little diseased corals when I was there. It looks very hopeful. I'll write you in a few days when the new video is ready. Hasta pronto!

I am a retired commerical photographer and have started doing a lot of underwater video, yours is so nice can I ask you what rig do you use. I have recently started using a very compact Sony RX 100 mark 4 with a nice underwater housing. Would love to know more about yours if you would share. thanks so much. For the video above, I was using a Sony Handycam HDR-CX580 with Ikelite housing. Make sure to use a pair of strong lights and a Red filter when you go shooting your videos.
