I like the makeover, but the dining room rug is too small. Also, it should be a darker color. A darker rug would hide spills, etc.when eating at the table. I do like the rug in the living room.
I missed your makeovers so much!! I know the furnitures are given by the company but still you are so generous to offer others the chance to own those amazing pieces of furniture when you could easily just keep them for yourself! You truly did wonders with this apartment ! When i saw the wall color and the flooring i didn’t think it would turn out this good !! Congrats Kristen you are amazing at what you do. 😊

The only "negative" aspect is that there is no element to entertain the 3rd one living in this apartment. I know it is a challenge to find cat furniture that blends well that specially for that I'd love to see your creativity tackling this challenge and giving me some ideas :)
Wow, I'd say its about the people, the cat is living in such a more beautiful space now. The emotion alone should be more important than what a cat needs.

Love these apartment makeovers! I wanted to suggest a video with an apartment makeover for a hetero couple, or something around blending masculine/feminine styles - when my ex-boyfriend moved into my apartment, I had created a bedroom that had quite a feminine feel to it - so how do you redecorate your bedroom so it feels like 'our' bedroom but also a balance of masculine and feminine?
The apartment upgrade looks great. My wife and I had done some revamping in our apartment, and we installed new curtains. It was a challenge due to the sliding doors and windows being flushed with the ceiling. We had to mount the rods as high as it could go.

It is amazing to see! Such a beautiful transformation. I didn’t see Shannon’s paintings in the reveal. Were they in a place I missed, or did I misunderstand. Were they just used as inspiration? Changing out dated vertical blinds always makes a huge difference. Thanks for the tip on the carpet tape. My area rugs slip all over the place. As I’ve aged, I find I trip more…especially in flip flops! Mystery to me, but it is what it is. Everything I’ve tried to stop the movement on my carpeting, gathers fluff and stops working!

I normally don’t like a rug over carpeting, but I’ve been converted! The rug really helps delineate the living room. The carpet tape too, I’ll be using that! Great job 😊

You are extremely talented so I just subscribed! My only "complaint" is the jute rug. It is not big enough but, more importantly, it is not stain resistant at all! It will capture every wine stain, etc..

Wow! That was a real change. It looks so good. Makes me want to redo my house. I love lol the light. And the Roman shades. I had them all over at my old house. This house came its blinds. Which I haven’t changed. But if m dogs keep messing them up. I might be soon. I love the orange chair. Orange is my favorite color. And the table and chairs. I have a round black table. And I have mostly black chairs to go with it. It is a little dark. But it’s really all we could fit in the space. I think the apartment is bigger than my living room, dining room and kitchen. Plus I don’t have a fireplace. You did a great job. It just looked amazing.
