I love this cup I’ve never thought about pouring paint over a cup like a canvas this way. It’s truly amazing very beautiful and inspiring.

Neat. I use paint skins on alot of my cups but never tried an acrylic pour straight on one before at least not on my turner. I did do a pour over on one once just didnt like how it turned out. Totally smart idea to use the turner!

I love rose gold and gold too because silver tends to mix with other paints and makes them murky looking.
Thank you for this. You answered my question. I was worried about doing epoxy over acrylic paint (completely different design than yours but still acrylic). I wanted to make sure it wouldn't smear when I did epoxy.

Beautiful cup and what a great way to do this. However, I couldn't see the way you poured the paint in the cup. I've never used acrylics on a cup before except painting it on. How did you pour the paint in the cup, any certain way? Thank you 🙂

I absolutely love this. I have bought a rotating arm. Not even built it yet.lol Ive done some glitter wine glasses and I've done a flask. I'm terrible. I dont know what I want to do between pours, paintings, glitter glasses, vases. I've got some of everything needed. I just cant make up my mind. How did you start off ? Shat should I do now. You shouldn't need to, but if you want you can tape it off first
Did you put resin in the paint before you poured it on the plain tumbler?
The tumbler looks really nice! I love how it looks with the color combo you chose. Can these go in the dishwasher? I assume it's safe as you went to the top of the cup. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. I don't know much about epoxy resin and there is way too much information out there, confusing...Thank you for all the fun things you try. Always makes me smile and laugh.
Technically yes, but I wouldn't put anything handpainted in the dishwasher personally :)

This turned out amazing! i have been binge watching all your video's. I have a quick question that may have been answered before but i can't find it. I have noticed you always use the same epoxy resin. I have been looking for one i can use in the house with a one window in the room due to it being winter and living in Indiana. Do you know i the resin you use is ok to do this with? I am totally new at all this, i understand if you might not wanna answer in which case would you know where i can find the answer to that at? Love both of them. A couple of questions pls. Can you use glass instead of s/steel - s/steel is really expensive here. Do you cover the cup turner while you leave to settle to avoid dust? Thank you :)
Yes you can do this on glass. I don't cover it and haven't had any issues :)

Have you tried this one a glass pint glass? Just curious. I am very new to acrylic pouring and are watch many of you who are doing this on TH-cam. I appreciate you all sharing you incite etc.

Could you do that with epoxy? Mix the paints with epoxy and do a pour like that?

I do these all the time. My advice is to always tape the top are that you drink from a painted area cause paint and sealer shouldn’t ever touch your mouth.
