Matthew, thank you for sharing your creativity and a bit of of your journey ❤
Hi Matt, Nice chisel rack good use for a leather strap, and like those wall lamps give's it that personal touch to your workshop that makes it different to any body else's , because no two workshops are the same. Also good to hear about your thoughts and reasons for doing what you love and enjoy what you do the workshop, making and you tube also your cooking and baking channel, thanks for being open. This is one of my reasons I enjoy being in my workshop it's a personal freedom .As always a great video Take care
Thought I was watching the best ever David Blunkett impersonation til I realised you was cribbing from hidden notes. 😂 All the best. I enjoy watching 👍
Glad you're getting better Matt. I'm the same, definitely more relaxed in the workshop, but can be better working with others when possible. BTW nice to see you gave this project your awl😊.
Gidday Matt. Thanks for the excellent video of the impressive chisel rack, and for sharing your sanctuary space with us. It's greatly appreciated . Because we do a fair number of builds, modifications and on-site installations, my chisels tend yo rattle around on shared space with the range of portable tools we lug around. Today's job was to complete an all-timber storage shed in Armadale. Cheers, mate! Take good care. Don
Fantastic job Matt. The chisel rack looks awesome and provides a very functional storage solution for your plethora of chisels. The lights compliment it nicely 😊
Hi Matt, nice video and the chisel rack looks really good. My shed / workshop is a tad smaller than yours, but I love it !! My little sanctuary 🤪 Keep up the good work 👍
I think this is the fourth chisel rack I've watched you make over the years Matt, all valid in differing circumstances, and you are of course on your 3rd workshop so all good ! I have a similar problem with Chisels and gouges and keep changing my storage methods ! Thanks for being so open about your challenges over the years Matt, it is indeed important for all of us to have someone whom we can talk to freely and the last few years have challenged many people in new ways ! Hoping that you are more comfortable in yourself and in a good place now, with best wishes, Andy.
It looks awesome Matt! If you filled it with only vintage chisels with wooden handles it could be some decorative wall art to hang in your living room! Hope you are feeling ok and that working in your woodshop, building stuff and making videos, makes you happy/happier. Your videos are the highlight of my Wednesdays!
Looks really nice Matt. That will be a great backdrop for your videos. Another fantastic project to give all of us fellow woodworkers some inspiration for our little hide aways. 👍👍
Loved this one. My workshop has become a little too utilitarian and I need to do a bit of this workshop-zen to get it back to that lovely focus. And good on you for being open about life's challenges. I've suffered episodic depression myself and do all I can to normalise talking about it hoping others can find a better path.
Awsome video again Matt. Love the idea with the lights. Given me an idea for my man cave sanctuary. My cave is my escape from life and also helps with my mental health. 👍👍👍👍
Hi Matt - really lovely chisel rack - the leather is a great idea and coupled with the black and brass, looks great. Where did you buy the scissor lights from - I need some lights exactly like that for my studio and for my workshop. Thanks.
I have a craft room I call my Multiple Sclerosis Free zone. It's a wreck most of the time as I constantly move stuff about based upon my physical limitations at the time but I have fun tinkering with tiny wood projects.
That's a great chisel rack Matt, very stylish but simple. It might be wise to use some brass cup washers though to provide some extra support and stop the leather from tearing out from the screws
I like you doing the sponsor reads while actually working on the project, i prefer it to a break in the video or a taking head in the corner Also, it genuinely was nice that you talked about your mental health. Good work matt 👏
Hi Matt, thst is certainly, a very nice looking chisel rack, always remember you need time to do things for yourself, and ifbthst means a week or two without producinf a video so be it, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia Les
It always amazes me, Keith and Yourself talk about being introverted, yet you put yourselves on TH-cam every week with all that brings with keyboard warriors. My full time job is sales talking to strangers all the time, TH-cam fills me with dread 🙈. Like the project, couple of nice Narex for the middle 😁

Hiya Matt, that looks brilliant! giving me some ideas for my shed shop, thanks :)
Thought I was watching the best ever David Blunkett impersonation til I realised you was cribbing from hidden notes. 😂 All the best. I enjoy watching 👍
Thank you
Looks great Matt! Should’ve added some polishing compound to the strip of leather. Then you’d be giving it a stropping every time you take one out 😂
Hi Matt, sorry to hear you had some problems glad you are feeling better now. I love your woodworking and cooking videos please keep them coming.
Thank you Terry

Hi Matt, nice video and the chisel rack looks really good. My shed / workshop is a tad smaller than yours, but I love it !! My little sanctuary 🤪 Keep up the good work 👍
As well as being functional, That’s a real piece of “woodwork themed art” - especially well lit up. Brilliant 😊
Thank you very much
I know what you mean about the workshop being your sanctuary. Even though mine is a small corner if the garage, I enjoy my time make sawdust.
A small corner is sometimes all you need

Thank you Andy. Yes I have made a few. Think this one works best so far
When im in my shed wood working or carving . The hours just fly by best place to be for me
I’m the same. I can’t wait to get out to the workshop
Hi Matt. Best use of a pastry cutter in your videos so far. Don’t forget you can use a flour sieve to stain paint. Keep up the great work
Thank you. Those cutters get a lot of use
It looks awesome Matt! If you filled it with only vintage chisels with wooden handles it could be some decorative wall art to hang in your living room!

Thank you very much. I do keep an eye out for old chisels at the boot sale

I enjoy making little changes to the workshop to make it a nice place to be
Thats a very elegant solution to a problem everyone has.
Thank you
Awsome video again Matt. Love the idea with the lights. Given me an idea for my man cave sanctuary. My cave is my escape from life and also helps with my mental health. 👍👍👍👍
I definitely use mine to escape from the world

I think most of us have messy spaces. It means we have been enjoying them
👍👍👍. Thank you Matt
Thank you
I had the same issue a year or so ago but i bought some heavy duty magnetic tape & fixed that to a baton and it works fantastic.
I have never tried using that
Great piece of art!
Thank you

Thank you
That's quite smart mate. BTW, it wasn't a rip cut, but a resaw on that 2x3 cls.
Thank you
I'm glad to see you lined up the screw-heads all in the same direction!
I would be told off if I did not
@@Badgerworkshop Absolutely!
Hi Matt. Can I ask what combo Bosch table saw and mitre gauge you are using?
Hi Matt, thst is certainly, a very nice looking chisel rack, always remember you need time to do things for yourself, and ifbthst means a week or two without producinf a video so be it, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia Les

Hi Matt nice idea where do you get your leather from?
Thank you. I got it from eBay. Search leather strap in crafts
I'd have to describe those lights as warm rather than cool.
Whiter bulbs please.
Love it. That’s an art installation! Have you considered CA? (Chisels Anonymous)
I need it. I have got even more since making the video

Like the project, couple of nice Narex for the middle 😁
Somehow talking to the camera and people online is easier but definitely not always true.
@@Badgerworkshop well fair play to you and Keith!
Wood, leather and brass. There's no better combination. Other than wood leather and bra's.
They do go well together
I'm first to see!😊
You were very quick
