animal racing isn't even real racing i just realized, because they don't even know they're racing so they're not actually making an effort to win anything or be first. they just know some kind of conditioning to run around some circle

Greyhound racing nowadays in the US is amazingly well regulated. The dogs are loved and cared for and they LIVE and LOVE to race. People like you on your soapbox with no knowledge of what is really going on will eventually harm the breed beyond repair. They are the most ancient, most pure bred breed of dogs and the well regulated and insanely humane racing industry ensures that the breed will retain this.
