    I bought GT1 a month ago. I live in Costa Rica. As you could know my country is extremely mountainous. These are the rates I've experienced in my country: In echo mode (flat terrain) I can drive 41 miles in cruise mode and will probably decrease with the wear of the battery in one year (I guess). Additionally I live so far away the downtown (in the mountains were the roads has 35º slope even though Segway indicates that the maximum is 23º) and this GT1 rides 12 miles p/h in a countinous road with 35º slope which is good for me. Driving hills at 35º slope the maximun distance I was able to ride was 17.5 miles (good for me). Sport Mode: Driving on a flat road with very slight slopes of 5º on average I can travel around 31 miles. It reduces to 25 miles is Sport mode. The above figures are based on my body measures: Weight 231 pounds / height 75 inches. I really love this Scooter' it has a great design and about all confortable while commute. Cons: is really heavy to lift but that something the scooter rider must evaluate before move to GT1/GT2. If you guys live in a flat country this scooter will give you more performance on the road; in my case, living in a very mountainous country and weighing 231 pounds, the yields are diminished but I am really satisfied. But when I use it in the city or on the beach I get the most out of it.

      And no burnt controller? A man burnt his gt controller on race mode. And they said it,s okay 1-2 burnt controller a year, Here in Australia are two refurbished Segway GT2 scooters for sale from Segway dealer, someone gave them back their broken Segway GT2. Also to cover their problems they block owners scooter to 25 kph speed. That,s not Super scooter at all. Thanks 😊

      I have the GT2 ordered as well, I cant wait. Where I live the price is actually very good. It is much cheaper (from 300 to 1000usd cheaper actually) than dualtron thunder or the kaabo wolf king gt and other similar scooters. It might be a bit slower but all the extra quality and lower price makes it an absolute no brainer for me.

    Ok I just test rode one of these things (gt2) EVERYONE speaking negative about it need to ride it first. They are amazing lol. The ride and convenience features are SOOO much better than any other e scooter I’ve used so far. Honestly on a different level in terms of smoothness at high speeds for sure.
    Also these things accelerate very fast yet perfectly smooth! Also the cruise control is implemented very well. RIDE IT FIRST and stop falling in love with specs. I would never go 60mph on any e scooter…25-40 is actually the range I’d stick to and these perform better than any other scooter I’ve used in that range hands down. Rock solid and smooth with almost no wobble at all. It’s actually very impressive.
    I want one so bad now LOL.
    Oh and the heads up display and twist throttle? Best in class

    • @nicholas9031

    • @nicholas9031

      I would get the Apollo Phantom it's half the price and it goes longer range and faster more lighting don't get me wrong it's a beautiful scooter but the Apollo is way better for the price and the specs my personal opinion don't kill me that's just how I feel what about you do you like the Apollo

    • @RandomMotoThings
      @RandomMotoThings 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nicholas9031 I own a phantom lol. The gt2 Is easily better overall. Easily.
      My only grip is how expensive it is but then again…it feels like it’s on another level honestly.

    • @RandomMotoThings
      @RandomMotoThings 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nicholas9031 v3 isn’t available yet but I own the v2. I’m sure the v3 will be better but I can’t see it necessarily being a massive jump over the v2. It’s more like a smaller incremental upgrade while the overall design seems to be mostly the same.
      What makes the gt2 so great is the ride quality, build quality, throttle, and heads up display. I think you truly can’t understand until you actually ride it. It feels so “planted” to the road and feels SOOO much more stable and “safe” at top speed.
      Also The throttle feel is very precise so when you accelerate it’s very smooth and natural. It really is a much better ride than the typical super scooter.
      I’m still trying to find the best way to describe to other people haha.

  • @rxonmymind8362
    @rxonmymind8362 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hopefully the tire changing is easier than the original ninebot Max. I liked that scooter.
    That was a tank. If this follows the original ninebot Max then you might have an argument for $3k. Nothing will go wrong with this and like a Lexus or Toyota you pay more upfront but on the back end you'll save a ton of time and money on repairs. Possibly.
    Aesthetically it makes all other scooters out there look like high school metal projects with wires sticking out and block decks. This is art.

      For the same money, you can only get more speed and capacity. But you will not get such quality, design, interesting features. Even how the battery is laid in its box, the holes for its cooling, how the wires are laid, how the controller is fixed, what kind of screen, anti-puncture tires, a small headlight that is integrated and at the same time shines well, controls that are not found in any scooter, like everything technologically done, it is somewhat unique scooter, similar to the bmw ce 04 scooter

    You never really said how far it went on a full battery how far it went in each mode and I think there's a reason for that it probably doesn't go far at all probably around the corner then you got to recharge it and it takes a day to recharge so for that price tag you should be able to go 60 miles on eco mode you know and probably 40 miles on racing mode not 15 miles on eco mode and 5 Mi on racing mode yeah it's a nice scooter beautiful I would love to have it and I was going to buy it but I'm not going to get it if I only could go 15 miles I mean that's just ridiculous if they had no budget like you said and they paid attention to what all the people wanted but left out the most important is just ridiculous to me

      Hi. Additionally I live so far away the downtown (in the mountains were the roads has 35º slope) and this GT1 rides 12 miles p/h in a countinous road with 35º slope which is good for me. Driving hills at 35º slope the maximun distance I was able to ride was 17.5 miles (good for me). Sport Mode: Driving on a flat road with very slight slopes of 5º on average I can travel around 31 miles. It reduces to 25 miles is Sport mode. The above figures are based on my body: Weight 231 pounds / height 75 inches. I really live this Scooter' it has a great design and confortable. Cons: is really heavy to lift but that something the buyer must evaluate before purchasing.

    Idk man. 3k for a single motor is just insane. You can get a lot of scooter for 3k (very good scooters!), this should have been priced around 2k for the single motor which is still pricey but justifiable for the city commuter.

    I really like design, but why did they go with 58V 🤦‍♂️, that’s just wasted potential, imagine this thing on 72V.
    The two charging ports also make no sense, the Ninebot max can handle 5Amps on 1 charger, and this thing need 2 for 4Amps, maybe you can use faster ones, but the ports say 2 Amps max, so maybe there is even a limit, physically of software wise.
    The price is too high, now it’s 2600€ with the 180€ off, for 1800€, i would’ve bought it instantly.
