I bought GT1 a month ago. I live in Costa Rica. As you could know my country is extremely mountainous. These are the rates I've experienced in my country: In echo mode (flat terrain) I can drive 41 miles in cruise mode and will probably decrease with the wear of the battery in one year (I guess). Additionally I live so far away the downtown (in the mountains were the roads has 35º slope even though Segway indicates that the maximum is 23º) and this GT1 rides 12 miles p/h in a countinous road with 35º slope which is good for me. Driving hills at 35º slope the maximun distance I was able to ride was 17.5 miles (good for me). Sport Mode: Driving on a flat road with very slight slopes of 5º on average I can travel around 31 miles. It reduces to 25 miles is Sport mode. The above figures are based on my body measures: Weight 231 pounds / height 75 inches. I really love this Scooter' it has a great design and about all confortable while commute. Cons: is really heavy to lift but that something the scooter rider must evaluate before move to GT1/GT2. If you guys live in a flat country this scooter will give you more performance on the road; in my case, living in a very mountainous country and weighing 231 pounds, the yields are diminished but I am really satisfied. But when I use it in the city or on the beach I get the most out of it.
And no burnt controller? A man burnt his gt controller on race mode. And they said it,s okay 1-2 burnt controller a year, Here in Australia are two refurbished Segway GT2 scooters for sale from Segway dealer, someone gave them back their broken Segway GT2. Also to cover their problems they block owners scooter to 25 kph speed. That,s not Super scooter at all. Thanks 😊

I just bought one fyi: Pros: sturdy, powerful, comfortable, modern, stylish Cons: Its much bigger than you think itll be, Heavy really heavy Not portable Takes 12 hours to charge,
A huge upgrade over my Xiaomi Pro 2! Yeah the Segway-Ninebot GT1 costs around $4,200 NZD which is very premium priced and the GT2 costs way more over $6,450 NZD!! Perhaps I might just get the Xiaomi E-scooter 4 Pro instead or the Ninebot P100s. 😃🛴
Idk man. 3k for a single motor is just insane. You can get a lot of scooter for 3k (very good scooters!), this should have been priced around 2k for the single motor which is still pricey but justifiable for the city commuter.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace He's just offering his opinion which is what the comment section is for, and he does have a point. For 3K there's lots of other way more powerful dual motor scooter options to choose from. On these Segway scooters you are paying for the luxury of the build rather than power, much like Inokim scooters.
Only if you can afford it then it's worth the price tag just like buying a car. If not then finding parts to modify an existing e scooter might be costly and time consuming, just saying. 🤷♂️🛴
I really like design, but why did they go with 58V 🤦♂️, that’s just wasted potential, imagine this thing on 72V. The two charging ports also make no sense, the Ninebot max can handle 5Amps on 1 charger, and this thing need 2 for 4Amps, maybe you can use faster ones, but the ports say 2 Amps max, so maybe there is even a limit, physically of software wise. The price is too high, now it’s 2600€ with the 180€ off, for 1800€, i would’ve bought it instantly.
@@Vlaaadddik no, actually not, more Voltage means less amps are required to reach a certain wattage, Amps are a multiplicator, for instance 36V 10a outputs 360W, but 48V only need 7,5 Amps to achieve this, it’s Voltage X amps for W
the GT2 does come closer to that level and there is a guy in Russia that made this scooter go 140 mph or something crazy like that. I am happy with GT1 performance.

You never really said how far it went on a full battery how far it went in each mode and I think there's a reason for that it probably doesn't go far at all probably around the corner then you got to recharge it and it takes a day to recharge so for that price tag you should be able to go 60 miles on eco mode you know and probably 40 miles on racing mode not 15 miles on eco mode and 5 Mi on racing mode yeah it's a nice scooter beautiful I would love to have it and I was going to buy it but I'm not going to get it if I only could go 15 miles I mean that's just ridiculous if they had no budget like you said and they paid attention to what all the people wanted but left out the most important is just ridiculous to me
Hi. Additionally I live so far away the downtown (in the mountains were the roads has 35º slope) and this GT1 rides 12 miles p/h in a countinous road with 35º slope which is good for me. Driving hills at 35º slope the maximun distance I was able to ride was 17.5 miles (good for me). Sport Mode: Driving on a flat road with very slight slopes of 5º on average I can travel around 31 miles. It reduces to 25 miles is Sport mode. The above figures are based on my body: Weight 231 pounds / height 75 inches. I really live this Scooter' it has a great design and confortable. Cons: is really heavy to lift but that something the buyer must evaluate before purchasing.
I almost pulled the trigger @$1500USD. But I think it just too physically large for my use
Might save up for the Segway-Ninebot GT2! Will test out the 1WD Eco mode with 30Ah 1512Wh battery! Heard the top speed in eco mode via 1WD mode is the same top speed as the Ninebot Max! 😃
Nice
How much money ?
watch the video
3000..
Expensive
@@dmars7098 .. thinking the same...really too much..
@@nerk234 yes it is but didn't you watch and saw my comment?
I just bought one fyi:
Pros: sturdy, powerful, comfortable, modern, stylish
Cons:
Its much bigger than you think itll be,
Heavy really heavy
Not portable
Takes 12 hours to charge,
Good feedback. Ty
2nd thought, perhaps the GT1 has caught my eye! 😃
Sometime next year what the hell?
Bonne trottinette le top
Na bro 3k for only 60miles???
Idk man. 3k for a single motor is just insane. You can get a lot of scooter for 3k (very good scooters!), this should have been priced around 2k for the single motor which is still pricey but justifiable for the city commuter.
I think you should take a budget of 2k and build one and shows us after how it is better than this.
Amps are more important than voltage. With low voltage just a little less speed
@@Vlaaadddik no, actually not, more Voltage means less amps are required to reach a certain wattage, Amps are a multiplicator, for instance 36V 10a outputs 360W, but 48V only need 7,5 Amps to achieve this, it’s Voltage X amps for W
@@tospoooky4me-417 Segway gt 2 51v medium voltage, 3000v peak power, does that mean its controllers are putting out 60 amps?
@@Vlaaadddik yes
Heavy asf 😂
Yeah it is for a regular rider

What’s your fav scooter all time?
That's a hard question to answer. I like Varla Pro that came out now. For the price point and performance it is a good balance.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace what would u recommend? No budget
@@sewiim3612 depends what you are looking for ? Speed range or luxury fancy design?
@@ElectricVehicleSpace Range and Quality
@@ElectricVehicleSpace and with very good customer support
I would not call a scooter , Hyper sçooter if it cant even do 40mph 😅
the GT2 does come closer to that level and there is a guy in Russia that made this scooter go 140 mph or something crazy like that. I am happy with GT1 performance.
@ElectricVehicleSpace I have had my Wolf king GT PRO at 67.2mph but I'm looking into the Rion Apex now, may be Weepeed.
@@DavidRoss-q3s Voromotors told me the Rion is a scam and hundreds of people lost around 10K each and after over 3 years of waiting nothing was delivered. The website is still up and people are being scammed. I am not sure if it safe to dump so much money in a overseas company. I think 67mph is enough.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace I don't put too much stress in Volvo motors myself. They can't even get their freaking orders right? And I always study on anything and go and ride before I buy anything.
There are scooters half the price that have better specs, look better, and are higher quality. 3000 dollars for this is pathetic.
agreed, this scooter seems awful 🤣
Was thinking the same thing
How about some examples? Take in consideration craftsmanship and design. Speed is not everything. There is a reason luxury cost is so high. Not for regular Joe.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace you are on a scooter exposed to the elements. Nothing luxurious about the experience 🤣
What do you see about this scooter that’s so “luxurious” all I see a heavy poorly made scooter that’s clunky and doesn’t even look good whatsoever.

scooter isnt great for the price, please make honest reviews
What is not great? Or compaire to what?
I can tell you right now that a 3year old nanrobot d6+ is cheaper, faster, has more range and hands down far more comfortable. Must be nice to get paid for these biased reviews.
I was paid "$0000000" for review and even if I would get paid my goal is the post a transparent objective helpful review.
I rather get a brand new product rather than getting a dated product. 😉
