House prices fall in over half of Sydney’s suburbs

Housing prices in more than half of Sydney’s suburbs have fallen slightly over the past quarter as spring stock surges, according to REA Group senior economist Eleanor Creagh.
“We've seen the Sydney market really kind of defying affordability constraints for much of this year but we've now started to see with that uplift in choice hitting the market with some Sydney suburbs the number of homes on the market doubling,” she told Sky News Australia.
“So, we're really starting to see that pace of price growth slowing pretty much right around the country but it's Sydney where we're really seeing.”
