Hi. the coupon is not working well. I added the other course as well but the code only applied to one item.
Placed the order but could not complete the excel add-on course.
@@dulceisha hi, the launch coupon only applies to this course. If you run into any problems please write an email to info@xelplus.com
@@LeilaGharani ok. But on the page it was listed that I could get a discount without the code.
Leila, great video as always. I have to say however, you may be one of the world's top Excel resources and no doubt you love what you do, but you are missing your true calling. Comedy! The timing first on the "woah, wait" bit and then the coffee sip was just comedic genius! 🤣
ahhh thank you! When I first read the "but," I thought you were going to say, "but why do you have to tease IT again?" 😉 It was nice surprise. I always liked acting, but I have no talent. But everything can be learnt.
I think you have acting talent - I’d watch a pro vs noob tv series!
I agree! When she said “woah, wait!” I thought “oh, she’s gonna cheat the 90 second limit by explaining a bunch of stuff before the timer starts, and she didn’t. And when the timer actually started, while all viewers are watching like “how is she going to do this?!” with our eyes wide open, she used up more than 10 seconds for sipping coffee 😂 That was awesome!!!
Love this excel trick too. I use Power BI for reporting a lot, but there are some users who prefer excel. I love both. And I cannot wait to use this technique to make my users go “Wow!”
@@LeilaGharani Sorry for the late reply, I don't have notifications on. I actually think you definitely have acting talent. If you have a passion for it then you should definitely explore that side of you. But please don't forget us lowly Excel and Power BI users pretty please, we still need your expertise! 😂
"Now I'm ready". It was perfect! 😊 Thank you for the video!
thank you Leila! nice sharing 👍
Great video/tutorial.
It shows that Excel can be for much more than complex spreadsheet applications.
This was amazing, thank you! I've been loving these McKinsey and The Economist videos!
Excellent tutorial !! Love the sipping & savoring of good coffee, always part of the full Excel experience : )
Brilliant... and I totally agree with you, the coffee sip at the start is very important 😁
😊
Always enjoy these videos. Thanks.
Your presentations and demos are always flawless! I love that you can take a seemingly complex Excel format and not only make it look easy to follow and learn, but do it quickly and almost effortlessly. Thank you for sharing your knowledge set and making more of us look like spreadsheet savants! 🥰
Thank you so much for the kind feedback! 🙏
You're simply the best. Thanks!!!!
What an amazing example for a young woman today.
Simply as usual.
Thank you Leila!!
Glad you like it!
I still have a few courses to complete, but the business charts course will be the next one. I love your teaching style, makes the courses enjoyable. I've learnt so much from them.
Awesome, thank you!

Wow, thank you!

Mind blown. That's it. Just mind blown.
Once more another great video Leila! I can use this technique in one of my projects. Great 90" idea (with a coffee).. Thanks for sharing!
A unexpected Tuesday surprise!!! ... good thing I was ready with a cup of hot coffee ... flawless presentation once again ... 😍😍😍
Guess what? I thought about you when we decided to publish today instead of Thursday. I'm glad you and your coffee were both ready and we got you in time ☺
@@LeilaGharani 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 ...😍😍

Your videos are as lovely as your solutions.
Thank you Leila, I have already purchased this course and can’t wait to delve in !
Wonderful! Thanks a lot for choosing the course! I'm sure you'll find it super useful. If you run into in any questions, let us know. Enjoy!
Well I am so glad to have a long format video back.
So am I. I tried the shorts, but I'm a fan of long form.
You have been a true mentor for all of us. And truly thank you for your contribution to the world. Much love and respect from India 🇮🇳. I sometime wonder how fo you even figure out how these works and get us so clear easy solutions?
You’re a very clever trainer.
Superb job😊 Thank you 😊
Great video! But unless I missed it, there was no explanation of what you did in the part about scaling numbers back when you are presenting large numbers? Was it just to divide the larger number by a large number to get the rept function to show less? And how did the bars accommodate the text added like "VIP campaign" and "announcement"?
I didn't buy the course but i'd imagine that she used a monotype font (all characters have the same width) and then she just subtracted the length of the text from the repetition multiplicator.
For the scaling you would divide the value of the row by the max of the data column and multiply it by the chosen length. So the largest number is divided by itself (=1) which results in 1* chosen length. So a bar that has half of the max value would result in 0.5 * chosen length.
Edit: Font it probably "Hack"
Edit2: No it's not, the dot at the end doesn't align. But it is close.
I used “Consolas” font and the same approach and it worked. Dumb question though, how I go about the conditional formatting to highlight the row with highest value. Thanks.
Figured the conditional formatting part too.
I see it differently. I figure out we always limited only by imagination. Now she gave me an idea, I will go figure it myself. Excellent idea about scaling. In fact excellent way of visualisation I had never thought of.
Very nice, took me a little while to find the correct middle dot to use in Geometric Shapes.
You are great teaching ❤😊
Simple and cool! 👍🏾
Thank you!
Nice to see this on your. I hate to say it but this is how I used to set up automated Gantt charts using an invisible character and conditional format colours and I did that in the 1990s!
Great Presentation
I am falling in ❤ with this lady every single day.
She is simply brilliant with what she has to present.
Jokes apart, I think no one on this planet can teach excel better.
Thank you for teaching us and making the internet worth its existence. Please keep up the good work.
hope you got permission from your wife before post this msg😂😂
She is always by my side.
😊😊😂😂
Great video and explanation!
You are super genius
This is impressive. Thanks for sharing.
Super pro tip!! I love this hack! Will be using for sure!

Very cool! Thanks!!
Genius!
beautiful function....!
Excellent!
gotta love the creativity of how to make even a tutorial fun to watch and learn!
Thank you! Cheers!
Clever solution, nice job.
this was a great start
Thank you
This is really excellent
Fully agreed, the course is a gold mine even for advanced users. all these nice things behind the scenes, are captivating. I can't get away from the screen. "Only the next one..." is my repetitive statement to myself once I start taking a look to the videos in the course.
That's awesome to hear Roger! I love that you're finding so much value in the course and can't peel yourself away from the screen ❤🙂
You are great! Thanks for this
You're very welcome!
very informative! please though note that even I have used the fonts for monospace when I am adding comments in the example, it does not work properly. thank you in advance for the tip!
Cool charts
Great video content as always 😊
Wish you could do more about excel but on macs, and some hints and tips for work arounds on certain areas where the mac version of excel is lacking
hi - I don't have a mac. If I did, I would probably return it. I'm just so used to PC and the mac Excel version is missing many features.
Hi Leila, you are a great Excel expert, thank you for this videos. McK is working with add-ins to create charts, 90 seconds is to slow in this business, time is money 😂
I know, they're selling it too and it's great. But it's expensive 💸
very useful thank you
Love this! thanks
Struggling to get the Bar chart part working. I've tried every combo of emoji boxes. Is it a spacing thing?
Thank you for your amazing videos.
Do you have something along the line for (commercial) banking ? Thanks very much!
Thank you. You're awesome Leila!
How smart... Cool!
A great video as usual. I have a question. How can you make the chart on the right side dynamic in reducing order ?
Thanks for the share.
Thanks for watching!
Now you can just add 99-x% repeats after the dot to the right side. Deduct additional 4 when placing the percentage number.
───●───
─────●─
And you may even format the right bar part in grey or not in bold.
It's all included in the extended ascii (IBM) character set to draw frames only with characters.
But ... Don't forget to check it on printed paper.
Thanks for sharing your tips!
Cool stuff
Godspeed✅
Great video. How would you change a color of series when you clicked on it?
I always Follow ur video. Great ❣️
Thank you so much 😀
Would love to see an option to access all your courses for a lower monthly subscription fee as opposed to the singlular large investment for single learning areas. Do existing. courses with lifetime access get updated alongside new Excel function releases and updates?
This was awesome! And no need for think-cell lol
Thank u
You are my hero 🎉❤😊
In one words: WONDERFUL TEACHING and SUPER RESULTS❤
Great🎉
"First I'm taking a sip of coffee" ...dayam the arrogance....I love it!
😁
Thank you for this presentation. Couldn’t you have selected a graph in the ribbon that would have automatically converted the data into bar chart?
Cool!
Hello Leila, do you have a plan on launching new course particularly on power bi advanced visualization techniques with modern design? I am sure you'd agree that design is also as important as Power Query, Data Modelling or DAX when it comes to reporting especially for end users.
Thanks!
Thank you!
I am soooooooo amazed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent madam
Oddly I am also interested in how you bring up the emoji picker. This chart is amazing too lol
Hold windows key and tap .
Didn’t work for me
didn't work for me either. what did work was inserting a symbol in another cell and copy/pasting it where she inserted the emoji.
QUESTION- hi. I luv your channel. Is there a way to slow down your explanation and keystrokes on the video? I am a bit slower and want to learn.
👏👏👏 Pretty fast, good timing, ehehehe. I guess is all the function formulas knowledge, I know a little bit more complicated that, excellent informative video, tho! 😺⭐️💎
Hey Leila, make a video on how to Vstack Spilled Ranges in Excel. For example, I have spilled ranges in cells A1,A2,A3 all the way to cell A50 having 5 columns, however i want all the ranges to be stacked one below the another. How to go about it ?
Leila, Thank you. I have been watching your videos for over a year now and I am actually getting my arms around this thing called Excel. Keep the comedy coming with your little coffee jokes. Here is one for YOU - What’s the opposite of coffee? Sneezy. LOL
😅 Love that.
Wowoow.. amazing
Thanks for watching!
Can you have a bar comparison? (2 column w data, instead of one?
Hi Leila!
Could you do a video with an dynamic leaderboard for sports? I've tried but it gets hard when I have two guys that has the same amount of points...
I would want to enroll in Business charts in Excel course but in Indian currency it is too expensive, I have attended your courses with Udemy business in my previous company but here the course price from Indian perspective is too high even with early bird discount.
Thank you for your trust in our courses. Country-specific pricing is something I'd like to implement and already raised with the platform we're on for our courses. So hopefully at some point.
