This video was very helpful in getting a rear tire on my wife's sorento loose and free. I didn't even know the wheels 'could' get stuck. The shaking back and forth with the tire touching the ground and one nut semi screwed in helped a lot.

Thanks, from the bottom of my heart. I was at the end of my rope when I did a search, and this video was absolutely perfect. The tire is off and the spare is now on.
To share one of my tips. I'm older and not that strong, and couldn't lift the spare onto the lugs. I placed a few magazines on the floor, and rolled the spare into place. I was then able to slide the tire on, and screw on the lug nuts.

If your wheel is stuck, don't screw around. Go straight to the pry bar method mentioned at the end of this video. I screwed around for about half an hour trying to get my wheel off, but once I tried the pry bar method it took about 5 seconds to get down there, find a solid spot, and give a small tug on it. Just make sure you have something solid to press the pry bar against.

You guys save my life. If your situation is not the same as in the video but your wheel still stuck, the idea is to make hard and strong movements, it could be driving a little bit and moving the steer wheel Left to Right and try to separate.

Great video. I guess I'll see if I can pry it out. I've seen a lot of videos with different methods. Some that could be damaging. If you are lucky, the methods shown here would be enough. Great new ideas for me to try. And you can also use a friend to help you push the side of the car to get more force. Thanks!

One lug at the top of wheel nutts then preceded to hit the Tyre from under the car and our wheel just popped off.

I couldn’t get those methods to work, but I managed to get the stuck wheel loose by throwing the other good tire against it with a couple loose lug nuts there to control it as you suggested.

This gave me the idea to sneak a flat pry-bar through the rim, on the face next to the studs. Gave it gentle pressure next to the stud, moved on around to repeat next to each stud. After about 7 times I could feel it go in deeper next to the stud, and was able to shake it loose by hand after that. Wasn't using much pressure so didn't have any lugs on the studs.

If the wheel is stuck, screw the wheel nuts back on but leave loose about three turns off tight then drive the car slowly so the weight of the car forces the wheel loose. If you do this on the road, use common sense and keep safe.
As in the video, clean the wheel flange and hub. You can use oil as shown but I prefer grease.
