It started with lash perm till i decided to try after doing extensive research about what could go wrong so i know what i was putting myself. First try was good, but the extensions was quite close to my roots. What helped me was a magnifying mirror thats on the same level as my head and ring light and a mini fan constantly blowing air under my face. I just did my refill rn i can say that i have practically perfected how to do it on myself. I can now place the lash millimeters away from my lids. The only thing i need to practice now is my mapping.

I usually keep my eyes open for a few seconds. When I close my eye too quickly the fumes get in. U can set up a fan to help the glue dry faster and fumes spread out

Depends on how long your lashes are. I’ve done shorter lashes on someone before and it looks just as great bc they are usually a lot more black and noticeable than the natural lash 💗 I would start by matching your length 💗💗

Have you ever considered being a mobile lash artist, you would have to travel to your clients and take all your equipment with you (lights and gear). No , there wont be forgiveness if you forget essential tools because you may have to reschedule and go back to get the tool. But you would give alot of people the comfort of not having to travel or sit and wait... once you get enough clients maybe you can see about renting a booth at the mall or shopping center or nail spa...

Hey, I just started using the Veyes lash glue. It’s the best one I’ve tried yet. Use a really fast drying glue .5-1 sec helps a lot! My student mentioned she put her fan in front of her - maybe that would work for you as well 🤍😇

Tbh I think any glue can cause irritation. But there is also glue from livbay lash that are for sensitive eyes. I think they may not be as quick drying but def worth a try!!! My eyes burn sometimes. Usually when I move my eye too soon. I avoid closing my eye and try to wait out the drying time. I hope this helps 💞
Honestly I don’t think any sealer is going to make a huge difference. I mainly use it as going the extra mile just in case. If lashes aren’t applied properly nothing can save them lol I barely ever use the sealer on myself

I'm not licensed lash tech but I used to be a licensed cosmetologists who has been doing the individual flare lashes for a MILLION years on myself and others in my salon. Now these have become so popular and I started going to get my done. Now, this virus has us on lock soooo guess what, I'm going to do my own. Just may do a video.🙂 I may not be certified but I'm just doing myself and the very FIRST time I had mine done the "licensed" pro screwed me up. Smh. So licensed or not, there's enough researchable material out there to prepare yourself to be safe and sanitary. Especially if you have some kind of experience with lashes (not strip).

It was in BC at a hair school. They offer different cosmetology classes and it was less expensive than the private courses you see. It was $1100 at the time. 6 evening classes I think 3 hours each. It came w the starter kit with everything you need to do lashes.
So you are saying there can be a reaction with the lint if its left on the glue when u clean it and that can attach to ur lashes causing it to catch on fire? How would u recommend to clean your natural lashes then to avoid any lint attaching then? Can we use the lipstick brushes to clean them?
So using a cotton wipe to clean ur lashes can leave cotton on ur lash line touching the glue and can have a reaction. Or when u prep your lashes and lint is stuck somewhere and the glue touches it it can have a reaction. I once got glue on my bathrobe sleeve and it was almost like melted. So use lint free wipes, lip applicators, mascara wands etc
Use a mascara wand to comb they wash them. Then blow them dry with a fan or let them air dry then comb out with a lash wand. Never comb lashes when they are wet! Just a few tips
The lashes that she is using here you probably can find on amazon bc these are not London lash. I believe they say London lash company. I’ll look and if I find these ones on amazon I’ll put a link!

So the .03 are for fans ( this way it doesn’t get too heavy) .15 are my personal fav when doing classics. Elegant and not as wide plastic looking .2 is what I was Trainer with in lash school and many use for classics. It’s heavy tho a d def can’t use them for fans. It’s all about natural lash health ❤️ hope that helps

Depending on how many lashes you have and the thickness of your own lashes. I usually recommend 0.15MM. isolating your own lashes however is different for anyone, some people tape them off, some people use 2 curved tweezers instead of 1 and 1 straight one. And others use 2 straight ones. Hope this helps a bit
Bus, I noticed that you kept your eyes open the entire time, did you keep a fan in the room so the fumes wouldn’t accumulate close by and irritate your eyes?
No I don’t bc it dries the glue too fast. I recommend a fast drying glue. And u can wait and let the glue get tacky and u will get a feel for this and apply after the fumes are gone and if u keep ur eye open the glue stays away from ur eye more than closing ur eye I find it traps the fumes and makes ur eyes water more
the problem with eyelash extensions is the stark contrast between bare lower ones and hella thick uppers, it defeats the purpose of looking "natural"🤷🏻♀️
Not really, it looks no different than wearing strip lashes, and you can wear mascara on your bottom lashes still, and you can also get extensions on the bottom as well.
I just wanna day you really can’t just watch a few videos and then become a lash technician you should be a licenced cosmetologist or Esthetician, it would be unsafe and illegal to do this as a profession without the proper training and licence

Ardell doesn’t work for me. I’ve probably tried most of the nonprofessional glues with no luck. Been wanting to try pro glue for many yrs. Probably gonna do it soon 😃

I did my own too. Instead of using my fingers to isolate, I actually just use my isolating tweezer. It works better 😁

How do you prep your lashes and do you need to prep them
I’ve done without prepping. But you can get a primer and should wash them before using primer 🤍

Anywhere from 2-3 weeks just to keep them nice and full looking. Some go 5 weeks. Depends what you like

How do you remove the lashes safely without ripping the natural lashes out? Does the glue you use damage the natural lashes?
There is a lash remover ( linked below) and it’s super easy to do.
No glue should damage the lashes. It all depends on the application of damage will happen or not

the problem with eyelash extensions is the stark contrast between bare lower ones and hella thick uppers, it defeats the purpose of looking "natural"🤷🏻♀️

Not really, it looks no different than wearing strip lashes, and you can wear mascara on your bottom lashes still, and you can also get extensions on the bottom as well.

I just wanna day you really can’t just watch a few videos and then become a lash technician you should be a licenced cosmetologist or Esthetician, it would be unsafe and illegal to do this as a profession without the proper training and licence

Just buy a nonprofessional glue like ardell lash glue and you’ll be fine

Ardell doesn’t work for me. I’ve probably tried most of the nonprofessional glues with no luck. Been wanting to try pro glue for many yrs. Probably gonna do it soon 😃
I'm sorry I thought this was a DIY video only because that is the title of the video,however the first thing you state is to not do this at home and the injuries that it can cause. I'm confused.

There are low fume glues and I really try not to close my eyes or it does sting a little 🩷
