Praises to you for using cloth diapers. What people are doing to this planet with all the disposable everything is appalling. What they also don't realize is there are likely chemicals that have been used in producing the materials lining those disposable diapers they then put right on their baby's skin. And skin absorbs whatever is on it. I know some people who can't be bothered doing dishes anymore either. Their much too busy (you know, being on their phones/tablets all the time and scoping social media or reading romance novels all the live long day - but surely these activities leave no room to do things properly - like dishes. So trashing the planet and deforesting her of oxygen-giving trees has become the theme of the last several years.) But hey, who needs to live in a clean environment or breathe? Surely what's on social is far more important than any of that. (sarcastic tone here)

I have a bidet attachment for my toilet. Attaches to the water supply line and the hot water line. It was $50 on Amazon. There are cheaper ones if you don't mind a cold brisk cleansing of that area and only attach to the cold water supply line. I grew with an actual separate bidet in the bathroom and don't understand why American bathrooms don't come with one. So much cleaner rather than wiping over and over to ensure no residue is left after #2.

I'm guessing Dr Dray, the TH-cam dermatologist, would think letting water evaporate off your skin causes Transepidermal water loss, which dries out the skin. She said in a video she puts an ointment on her starfish after getting out of the shower. I don't remember the video title, so I don't know if she named a brand. I'm thinking only using toilet paper would conserve the oils that protect from moisture loss. This is just my guess, I'm not an expert like Dray is.

I use the GenieBidet, not as a T..P. substitute but as a personal wipe substitute. Lately I’ve been watching on the news that personal wipes are clogging the sewer treatment plants and are not recommended for home septic systems or RV’s . The labels of some say only one per flush. These bidet bottles are better than any kind of wipe. It’s like getting a mini shower just where you need it.

Good Housekeeping did an article on these. I use a Brondell with warm water. It's awesome, but you have to get the correct angle. They really are a great thing to have. You can make one with a water bottle or a dish soap bottle as well in a pinch. It saves a ton of toilet paper as well.

Would the water from the bottle or bidet (if held at certain angles) shoot the waste material back up (into your body which is working hard to extract the waste)? You would still need Toilet Paper to dry, right? Or do you use a blow dryer - and if so would that be comfortable or safe?

    • @shootingstarz6978
      @shootingstarz6978 2 ปีที่แล้ว

The waste won't go back up like that. The bidet is not working on an engine to force water up ur way. Normally, we just wiggle above the toilet seat to get off some water and pull on our pants. Just how you wring ur hands after washing. Also, here in south asia. We make sure to use soap. Not just plain water to cleanse the poop. Soap is a must. Plus, the wet undie will dry quick on its own. Otherwise just use little tissue paper to dry urself if you hate getting ur undie a little wet. Or an old cloth too. Just wash the cloth every 3 days maybe.

In India, we use jet sprays. Its just a small attachment on the side of the commode. You do not need a separate seat / commode to clean. Very economical. Just under 5-7 US Dollars here in india.
Using water is more hygienic & healthy as a paper wont ever clean 100%. And since its dry, bacteria & germs make the anus area worst with bad smell & infections.
Use a water jet spray or a bidet fitting. it’s definitely more hygienic. Every person in India, be it poor or the rich, uses water to clean the butt.
Its more safer, hygienic & cleaner than using a paper. Once you get used to water, believe me you wont ever go back to use a toiler paper.
Use water, say no to infections

I have a culo clean bidet because that's the first one I found for hiking. My hubby and I have covide 19, now and using the water bottle bidet has been a real boon for me. T.P. is hard to come by in my area. Glad I can leave it for the rest.

you can get silicone douches that have "bidet" attachments too! if the silicone bladder and or bidet piece gets too gross, just cut it up into small pieces and composte it. because it is silicone, it will turn back into sillica over time. its cheaper and better for the environment

Just use a squeezy lemon bottle. The spray is super directional (because the bottle's so small) and very pressurised, so it'll get rid of anything nasty. It's like pressure washing your under carriage. Just left with a bit of water to dry off. At home, use your towel - away, use a little cloth 4 that purpose. No need to buy ANYTHING. Just use the one in the fridge, once it's empty, instead of recycling it.

Thumbs up for making the video. I find that people are either ashamed or confused on the use of bidet.
My contribution: use intimate soap and a towel. It is not just about spraying water and using toilet paper. You should have towels specifically assigned for that purpose and wash them in hot very water.

Here in south asia, using soap with the water is a must. We rinse with water to get shit off, rub some gentle soap, and rinse again. And done.

What about the peri bottles? They have an end that is kinda crooked (4am lack of a better word lol) so you get a better angle? At least that’s what it looks like to me. Idk tbh, never tried this. Thanks again for the laughs and the good content! 👍🏻

why dont you just use a wash cloth, wash it out in the sink and throw it into the washer.

Yup, family cloth, reusable toilet paper seems smarter if there's no tp but water is still running.
