Only way to combat illegal on videos on here and streams. English premier league football does the same now too. 1hr after game finish they now show highlights on here. Never did till last year. Would be days before they did any highlights on here.
1:02 you can't tell me he didn't steal that from Greg Norman with the hand action on the right before swing.... I tried it many years ago and it does allow ease in your body pretty darn good but no guarantees from me.
The only bad thing about this venue is the dimwits complaining about the low scores. For God's sakes, don't be so willfully stupid. The course is dispersing the scores, rewarding great play and punishing mediocrity...plenty of big names shot +3 or worse. And the scores will go up as the week goes on. The course rewards intelligence and shotmaking, and is way more fun than watching hole after hole of hack it out of rough because the fairway is 22 yards wide. I suppose if someone gets off on seeing high numbers that is their right, but if you think this course isn't great because of a couple of 62s, you are truly clueless about golf course architecture. They could reduce fairway widths by 20 yards and the scores would go up, but it would largely eliminate strategy and make the course worse.
The US Open isn’t supposed to be about strategy, it’s supposed to be the ultimate test of 1) nerves and 2) driving accuracy. Mike Davis used to do this a lot when he set up the courses, wide fairways and chipping areas to create “options”, gimmicks like changing par by the day, etc. and just as with this week, it was often on new venues such as Chambers and Erin Hills. The membership at courses like Oakmont and Winged Foot would not allow such changes. A great of example of this working to create a classic US Open finish is 2006 at Winged Foot’s 18th, where the narrow fairway makes 3-wood desirable, but the length of the hole overrides this and encourages driver. As we know Phil and several others were unable to hit the fairway when it counted the most and it cost them the title. It also guards against exceedingly low scores if it rains (like at Congressional in 2011 when the fairways were way too wide for the amount of moisture). The US Open should embrace this image as it used to, instead of only when it’s played at classic courses (Winged Foot, Oakmont, Shinny, etc.) where the membership demands it. Augusta for a while actually had the opposite problem: they became more US Open-like to a fault by introducing a second cut (still no rough, but it was definitely a notable change), and planting hundreds of trees as “Tiger-proofing” (two of the most heavily-changed holes, 7 and 11, actually ended up costing Tiger several Masters wins over the next few years). Only recently have they begun to re-embrace their image of an options-laden shootout by removing numerous trees, and hopefully they will take away the (pointless, as it’s barely present anywhere important and most open areas are still fairway cut) second cut. The majors each have specific parts of the game that they are supposed to test, which is why winning the career grand slam is so difficult and prestigious. Look at Rory or Phil who’s lone holes in their game (the mental game for Rory, and driving accuracy for Phil) are exposed by the majors missing from their resume, Greg Norman is a great example of this as well. Bottom line is a US Open shouldn’t play like the Masters, and the Masters shouldn’t play like the US Open
So great the USGA are putting these videos out so quickly. Showing the USPGA how it should be.

Waiting for Max Homa as well
Well I think the champion is going to be the best putter who makes the fewest putts and stays in the fairways thats usually how it goes lol 😜😂😊
The fact we had people shooting this low in a US Open proves this course is not suited for a Major.
2 rounds of 62 at a US Open?....Not worth watching..I mize well watch The Waste Management Open
