RAM 1500 Muffler DELETE (It's VERY Loud) | Best Sounding RAM Exhaust Set Up ??

- RAM 1500 muffler delete is an awesome loud sounding exhaust option. I compare the stock hemi ram 1500 muffler to the hemi muffler delete exhaust set up and show you why the muffler delete pipe is the best exhaust option for these ram trucks.
The muffler delete pipe gives these trucks some life and lets the beautifully sounding hemi breath. this is by far the best cheapest option if you want a great loud sounding exhaust. Obviously this exhaust set up it loud but it also actually sounds really really good. I fired up my RAM without the muffler on simulating just cutting the muffler off and dumping the exhaust under the cab and yes it was loud but it also sounded terrible. So it goes to show you having a loud exhaust isn't the only thing that matter you want a good sounding exhaust no matter what volume it is.
Now when I installed the muffler delete pipe and re-installed the tail pipes with the resonators in them. you get a much cleaner tuned sound coming out of the exhaust. it really makes a world of difference.
I also compared the stock exhaust with the muffler delete and showed you guys the huge difference in sound.
Lately I wanted to show you guys how the muffler delete exhaust set up sounds in the cab because a lot of folks are worried about having a bad drone or droning exhaust. hopefully the microphone picked it up well but cruising at all different speeds this exhaust set up can be pretty quiet when you want it to be in the cab. Even when you put the hammer down the cab stays pretty quiet. I would say though around 120+ there will be a pretty noticeable drone so if you are doing a lot of highway driving maybe this option isn't the best for you.

I did the muffler delete but put 5 inch tips on. it gave it more of lower better growl and in idle too. Love it

Atleast you don't need to worry about about hemi tick anymore won't be able to hear it with that nice exhaust

Sounds good. I have the carven progressive and I love it except the morning cold starts. Its too loud when cold...
yaaa these trucks in general are loud for cold starts. even the stock muffler has some decent noise to it when the truck it cold.
With the muffler delete I've startled people people they just don't expect it.

To be perfectly honest it sounds good either way - I personally preferred the stock muffler, but it’s your truck lol cheers

@@moemoe48210 Ya that kind of sucks. I fortunately have the 8 speed with 3.21 gears so at like highway speeds I'm sitting around 1500 rpm which is much much quieter
What about the muffler Resonators delete is gonna be Xtremely loud
i have two ram 1500.. a 2015 and a 2017 sport... i installed a magnaflow muffler on the 2015... now i have to get it a muffler delete... the damn muffler all rusted out and the pipes just fell off the clamps... the 2017 has its muffler deleted... it's loud but awesome.. but to my neighbors, i don't know..

Great question I should of recorded what it sounds like! But it honestly kind of sounds like a Subaru, it has a very distinct 4 cylinder note but just much deeper then a typical 2 liter 4 cylinder engine, if that makes sense. You can also hear clear as day when the engine flips from 8 cylinder to 4 and vice versa

I also had a old school Ford f100...with cherry bombs..Wayyyy to loud, especially before a 16 hour day..And the neibor hated it🤣🤣
Is your speedometer purple or is it just look like that on the camera I have the same cluster gauge but the speedometer readout is in white
just the camera, its a stock dash cluster

Had a guy make it for me a couple years back. Just a simple y -pipe. but I imagine any muffler delete pipe would sound the same!

Took my mufflers off lol that was the first thing I did to the truck! And I live in a apartment complex lol.. only thing I don’t like is cursing above 65 gets kinda annoying other than that sounds awesome
ya I agree at highway speeds the truck can get super loud. I'm lucky enough to have the 8 speed with the 3.21 gears so my revs are usually pretty low even around 110km (65ish mph) which helps with the sound. But above that, ya the drone starts to get annoying

It did for me. nothing wild did seem to help MPG

I love being able to go between the stock sound for long roadtrips and the open exhaust which I love the sound of but which you thought sounded kinda poopy for local short trips.
I love being able to open and close the valve with the push of a button AND I made use of the integrated garage door openers since that's what I use to open and close it 😂
On a completely different subject, I recently bought myself the Alpharex G2 pro headlights because I love the way they look. Gave my 2012 a great modernizing face-lift. Do you have any thoughts on those?
I'm kind of weird when it comes to after market options. I like the look of a stock truck. maybe like a stock + look. So aftermarket headlights and tail lights just aren't my thing.

I’ve got that same live valve on my truck, it’s got like a stage 1 muffler before it, it isn’t as loud as a true straight pipe.
my problem with video is, he's holding it in a low gear.. all trucks are load with no muffler at high rpm's.. i've watched several video's now with muffler delete and none sound like this one.. i'll be muffler delete soon...

6.2 is a great sounding engine I can't argue with that, But I think the Hemi has a more raspy throaty note which I enjoy. just my opinion but Chevy has always had great sounding engines
My brother inlaw has a 19 hemi and we put them next to mine even he says my truck sounds better (both have same exhaust system)
But like you said we all liked diff sounds
@@MGMCLL Exactly, I bet both trucks turn heads and the 6.2 has that extra displacement for maybe a better deeper rumble.
Don't ruin a beautiful HEMI with a cheapo muffler delete. Long tube headers & a true-dual BRAND NAME exhaust is the only way to go. I've heard the 5.7 in EVERY combination, & the ones with real catbacks, & especially with headers sound GLORIOUS 👑 Muffler deletes sound like massive chili farts.
