Ijaw people must learn lessons from our mistakes. We have idiats like Goodluck who fought Henry Okah while he was romancing with Boko Haram. We are quick to kill our to make our enemy happy. We are suffering same faith in Rivers, Balyelsa, Delta state, Edo and Ondo state. In Rivers state we have population and number of LGAs yet this is the first time we are producing a governor because of disunity. My people it is time to wake up! We kill our own to please outsiders. The number of Ijaws fighting Sim from Wike’s camp is bigger than the Ikwerres there. Ijaw must learn in a hard way.

Ijaws is not the only ethnic groups that has youth movement. it's time they behave themselves. they becoming more attached to Nigeria resources than personal development. Ijaws despite the numerous power they think they have, has been locked out from river government house since, it only took Wike to remember them yet see how ungrateful they have been to him and that might be the simple reason why they have been put in their small space since.

And how can there be development without resource control, management and accountability which IYC stands for and fought for. Niger Delta states are enjoining and benefiting from what we achieved through MEND. The statement of both leaders are clear we stand with the government of Rivers state like every other group has done. My comment is directed to my fellow Ijaw people not IYC. Wike doesn’t have the power to make anyone governor, as a matter of fact we made him governor. Wike wanted to be seen and he made a fool of himself else how can one man say “I bought form for everyone because we are family, I told this man not to run, I told that one not to run, I told them to save their money and l bought form for them because we are one family” does Wike comments make sense to you? 2015 we sidelined Peterside for Wike, we fought for the life of PDP because of Madam Patience and stewpid GEJ, 2019 same thing. Wike was everywhere begging. What did he do for 8years ? Nothing. All flyovers were bought on his second term so what did he do with first term? We have 12-13 LGA in Rivers State out of 23 and you think we don’t determine who becomes the governor? Our disunity and lack of interest in politics is what brought us to this point. I can only hope and wish my people wakes up to reality of Nigeria and Rivers state. Wike has made his little Obio/Akpor village the Fulanis of Rivers state and we are going to stop him.

If you need to be reminded again and again, Wike made your Fubara the governor and nothing that you say will change that fact of reality, for 24years despite all the local government you claimed couldn't help one of yours to become a governor if not Wike. Talking about how Jonathan help Wike is laughable because Wike stood his ground for Jonathan to gain dominance in rivers state when the then gov. Did you just say Wike did nothing in his first term? please learn how to be truthful bcos that man Wike is Mr project himself, a man that hit the ground running from day one and also as opposition governor he did so well that earned him second term. One more thing is that ijaws dominance attitude would have best put into practice if fit enough to give Jonathan second term in office.

I understand already that you’re a fan of wike but I’m sorry we are talking about Rivers state, Rivers state government and people which is not Wike’s personal property. One more thing that’s obvious is you know nothing about Rivers state. I will still give you the benefit of doubt to tell your fellow Nigerians what Wike did in his first term and second term separately and how that has benefited Rivers state. I will take my time to school you about the illegalities of Wike and how he has been anti-state. If Amaechi could not make Peterside governor who do you think Wike is to make Sim a governor? Making one a party flag bearer is one thing and one becoming a governor is another thing. We Ijaws fought for Wike to be governor but that’s not the point here. The whole point here is Wike is anti-state and it has nothing to do with who is the governor. I rephrase again, those fighting Fubara has more Ijaws than the Ikwerres, this is not ethnicity struggle rather the few elites against the masses. I only pointed out the number of our LGAs to debunk that rumor and statements that Wike made an Ijaw man governor.
Do you know Marshal Sokari Harry, Aminosoari Dikibo, Toney Harry, Abeyi Sekibo and many others I cannot mention here.
We accepted Wike on the premises of PDP, ask yourself why Wike can’t leave PDP. Wike used Amaechi-GEJ issue to endear himself to Rivers people. GEJ and his wife are both Ijaws while Amaechi is Wike’s fellow Ikwerre. Now do the math. We don’t care about Goodluck winning or losing the presidency because he wronged us and never achieved anything for us his people. And for we ex MEND we can never accept GEJ on any grounds because he betrayed us for his political agenda. We the Ijaws in Rivers state has all it takes in all ramifications but disunity has always been the issue since the time of Odili. We made Odili, Amaechi and Wike. These people cannot make bad comments because they know the consequences. But, the political consciousness has been awoken and this time our people we take it seriously. When you hear Rivers state I guess it is Dokubo, Tamuno that comes to your mind not Emeka, Chinda and the rest. If we play the politics of bitterness and divides that Wike has introduced please educate me how Ikwerre of three and half LGA can win Ijaw of 10 and half LGA.

You should amend your constitution to embrace all son's and daughters of ijaw membership from age 18 years to 150yrs but holding leadership position be pegged to 45yrs old.

Mr Donren... Why would you say it is Wike that remembered us when is an Ijaw person that put him there. Meanwhile Ijaws have ruled Rivers State ever since before 1999.. It was just due to lack of unity back then that caused the Upland to rule for 24 years
