Great to see you seeing another city, affectionally called Briz-Vegas!! A bit like Melbourne is called Mexico City by the Queenslanders. I lived in Brisbane for 7 years before returned to Perth. You can see much of QLD in 2 days, but anyone on holidays in a camper van or car would find some amazing places. 20 kilometres off the coast of Brizzy is Morton island that has the 4pm feeding of the Dolphins.
