We don't have a problem with Panathinaikos. Fenerbahçe fans were shouting "do it doping, do it doping, Ergin Ataman do it doping". Turkish chant "Doping yapsana, doping yapsana, Ergin Ataman doping yapsana" We generally saying this chant "When Fenerbahçe is guarantee to win the match or the difference is widened in the match"
This is related with year 2009 Fenerbahçe - Efes series. Fenerbahçe was heading the series 2-0 on the road. Then Efes won 4 game consecutive. And they took the championship 4-2. After that wada (world anti doping agency) made a test and two players of Efes Kerem Gönlüm and Mario Kasun "cathine" positive. Wada wants to make another players test but Efes refused. Federation President made a statement about this "This is scientifict fact and looks like organised".
After that we read lots of stories about this. Efes, host for a dinner after 2-0 down and they gave the team this substance (cathine) or there is another story they gave them lockery room.
But, Ergin Ataman has a power of Turkish basketball press. And always manipulated this topic and said "They hate me because I win against them". Especially Obradovic - Fenerbahçe years. He was talking about Obradovic and was saying "I always win against him (Obradovic)." He made lots insultation against Obradovic.
As a Fenerbahçe fan we love Obradovic a lot. It is legendary for us but we accept Obradovic - Panathinakos relation bigger than Obradovic - Fenerbahçe relation. So, I am telling to Pao fans; This guy is a good coach but you should know this guy's character. He was insulting your legend as well.

Ok there are clearly 15 stupid Fener fans. But this has happened to other coaches as well. Coach Bartzokas was confronted when entering OAKA last year by a court seat fan. He kept going to the bench. The reactions of Atamn are half hysterical half comical and it's not the first time. He could have just ignored 15 stupid fans and walk on to the reception. But no... he had to make a scene, to scream "no interviews from me, punish me", "I will not go to the press conference, punish me" "lets go back in Athens" and of course today he attended the press conference and he did not fly back to Athens. Like Giannakopoulos, the president, "i will leave Euroleague and join FIBA champions league", "I am leaving Pana and I will come back only if the sun rises from the west" "I will put everybody in prison". Unfortunately this is the current organizational culture of Pana.

Most of you miss the point with subjective comments and dealing with the fact only with fan criteria. Certainly Ataman's behavior of behaving like a hooligan does not honor him to put it mildly. Especially if one takes into account that his role is to prepare the team by keeping it calm and focused.
Regardless of his behavior, the fact that fans are so close to the hotel where the team is staying is unacceptable. This incident is a big failure for the organization of the euroleague.
Also, the supporters of Fenerbahçe in the playoffs match in Istanbul showed great disrespect to the Monaco players and they did it again in Berlin!!!
The Euroleague is a celebration for everyone without borders and discrimination, but disrespecting the teams is a red line for me!!!!

Ataman is a liar. First, that Ataman swore, then the Fans swore. (The translation was also a wrong statement, not Fenerbahçe fucks you, Fenerbahçe fucks the man). So its not for the Ataman. Ataman, "they attacked me as soon as I entered," said. Nobody attacked. "As soon as they came to me, they swore," he said (in Turkish). As soon as he arrived, Ataman cursed. He was wrong but he tried to be right by shouting.
It's quite clear that Ataman is taking advantage of Fener fans unacceptable behaviour. He likes to give show. This is what he does inside the court too whenever he is creating all the time technical tension by yelling at the refferees and acting like a clown asking for technical fouls to be granted. This is just subpar politics,very cheap. He could have easily ignored them and ask for security and police from the hotel. Nothing would have happened if he didn't also provoke them too.
On the other hand euroleague and the police were quite unprepared. Everybody knows that Turks are a big part in the population of Berlin. The presenters didn't expect Fener to have people welcoming their team in the hotel but their assumtion is really false. They should have known about the quantity of Turkish inhabitants in Berlin which could very easily lead to such incidents.

This is a long story between Ataman and Fener funs. There is a compitition Fener and Ataman’ s old team Efes like pana and olimpia.
I commented before but I want to comment something very simple and obvious in Turkiye: Fenerbahce is a club that doesn't just fight on the court or the pitch, they fight in their own country, legally and 'backstage' against their own government. Why? Because they are the only independent organization who does not want to be part of or a slave of this corrupt system. I live in the Netherlands and comparing the two countries I can say with 100% that every top Turkish league is corrupt. The Pennsylvania-led Gulen movement is still everywhere, a fight which Fener continues and won in court when they attacked with a fake match fixing case. Current and ex gala players, staff, board members etc. are and were members of this corrupt movement. So many of them fled the country, Galatasaray had to blur most of their 'legends' from championship posters. Ataman is part of this corrupt group. All European organizations should start an investigation in all top sports leagues in Turkiye!

this is not Fenerbahce's first final4, this is the 6th. Have you ever seen any scene this before? It's not about Fenerbahce or Pana. The problem is that clown. He's a manipulator, and a big liar. No one attacked him. He swore the fans and they replied. They were very far from the entrance. He was getting inside the hotel but he changed his mind, probably he thought he can use this situation to get an advantage for his team, and came outside and walked to the fans direction. Fans came closer after that. We remember what he did against maccabi. he was loosing the series and he created an argument about the refs etc. When he cant find a solution on the court to beat his opponents he use this tactic every time. He has zero sportsmanship.
