When they said "super silver wasn't physically strong enough" they mean PURE physical strength. He couldn't match him by punching him. When he uses the Chaos Force, then Silver outclasses him.
That's what they meant when they said that.

I can't believe they got Silver's original VA from the games to voice him in this episode, and Death Battle made better use of his immense talent voicing this character than Sega ever did.

Yes, he certainly has a lot more potential than just turning into another slot on the roster.
Sonic characters are criminally underused by SEGA. I'm glad they seem to be finally getting more recognition now, with SEGA themselves saying how they want them to be more relevant and playable in the future, starting with the free Frontiers update. I hope we get a playable Silver again soon, he's one of the best parts of the already great 06 story

I saw your reaction, Terminator Vs Robocop, and I enjoyed your reaction. Other reactors at the time mainly just watched the video without saying much. But you took time to explain your connection with the characters and even tried to guess who the winner would be based on the analysis. In a way it felt like watching the video with a friend. It made the videos more enjoyable, having someone voice their thoughts on the videos. I was sad when you took a break from watching death battle, but understood why you did. I was glad when you returned. Your reactions are my highlights to start Saturday off, eating breakfast while watching it. Now, years later, Im working, trying to find my way in life, and your videos are still something I look forward to. Thanks for the entertainment and I look forward to seeing your future reactions!

I love these kind of reactions! There are few people that just get really invested into the video they're watching, yet manage to stay chill even when they are not satisfied. To explain the enerjak point,the argument was that silver could redirect trunks’s ki attacks to deal with the disadvantages from trunks similar to how he dealt with the disadvantages of fighting someone like enerjak

Ris, you'd need to understand who Enerjak is, because he is arguably one of the strongest beings in the entire Sonic mythos as well as the comics, not that he exists outside of the comics but still. Enerjak is virtually omnipotent so long as he has a physical vessel like Knuckles or Dimitri, and Chaos Knuckles, a mutated form Knuckles assumes in the comics due to his father's experiments with Chaos energy, is basically just another Enerjak in terms of power, as Chaos Knuckles was so powerful he could time travel and alter reality without much effort and even ascended beyond physical reality and into the Chaos Force itself. Dark Enerjak was holding back the entire time he fought Silver, but it's not like he expected Silver to actually be a challenge which allowed Silver to outsmart him by redirecting all of his attacks back at him. Also yes, Enerjak does scale to Super Sonic, as I more or less proved above, and remember that Super Sonic stood in the epicentre of the Genesis Wave and was unaffected by its power.

Probably my favorite part of this battle is how many times the battle seemed to switch the upper hand. The moment Silver whent super I thought he was dead then when trunks felt like he was a goner and then when he hit silver with the sword I thought it was over
That Traitor that Silver was trying to kill was Princess Sally.
She gave up her life to save the world being turned into robot slaves by Robotnik. At the coast it turned Sally into a Robot Slave known as Mecha Sally causing destruction on Mobius for Robotnik.
Silver learn the truth and decided to help Sonic save Sally from Robotnik’s control.
But Robotnik had a Crossover with Dr Wily and rewrote the universe by the Super Genesis Wave which reboot the Sonic Universe to be more like the Game’s timeline with SatAM and AoStH events.

So they focused on 3 big feats, Enerjack was rewriting the entire multiverse and base Silver was able to deflect it back. He wasn't more powerful but was able to redirect the attack back on him.
Next in the game as super silver he fights a god who eats space and time and held his own.
3rd is when super sonic and super megaman deflected and survived a wave rewriting the infinite multiverse to get ARCHIE out of a lawsuit and Silver scales to them

To basically give you the quick version both are multiversal plus wich is infinite but silver is time 2 that wich is still infinite but apperantly more.
I have seen some people say that apperantly he is even the strongest characters in power scale in all of death battle.

This DEATH BATTLE Episode of Trunks VS Silver Was Amazing :D
In the 297th episode of DEATH BATTLE Cast, Ben stated that the reason Xeno Trunks and Archie Silver specifically were used instead of their normal counterparts was due to how easily Trunks would beat Silver normally due to the big power difference between Dragon Ball and Sonic the Hedgehog.
Ben would later state in the 299th episode of DEATH BATTLE Cast that Xeno Trunks VS Archie Silver was ultimately done due to how more interesting the matchup is compared to normal Trunks VS Silver, namely in how Dragon Ball Heroes, Online, Xenoverse, and Archie Sonic gave the two more source material to work with and consider.
Matthew Jones would add on to this, stating that a fight between the canon versions of the two had been overdone and that Silver in the games did not actually have much material to begin with.
@@turboanimationchannel DBS Trunks does not beat game Silver. If they actually did that episode and had to research it in full, that would become immediately obvious.
@@turboanimationchannel Not really. If we just go by the main canon, Future Trunks, Goku + Vegeta and even Vegito couldn't beat merged Zamasu, a multi-unversal being who was starting to leak into different timelines. They had to have the omni-king come in and do it.
Sonic, Shadow, and Silver all defeated Solaris who is a multiversal (AKA infinite spatial and temporal universes) being that was affecting every timeline all at once. And they weren't fighting side-by-side in the same timeline; they were fighting Solaris in separate timelines.
@@turboanimationchannel Nah they're recently confirmed universal super forms in Ultraguy's game Silver blog. Not saying it would matter against DBS characters but uni super forms are definitely a thing now

A bit of trivia I found kind of funny:
In the first episode featuring an Archie Sonic character, speed was kind of a non-factor in a battle between two combatants characterized by how fast they are, but Flash's greater control of time travel allowing him to outlast Super Sonic regardless of stamina.
And in the second, their importance was swapped; time powers were mostly a non-factor in a battle between two fighters whose main gimmick is time manipulation, and Silver's infinite speed meaning he'd always blitz was a major factor contributing to his victory.
This was crazy.... it came down to who had more infinities then the other.

If anything I was surprised that Silver won this battle and yeah about that reason that I brought up last week, the reason that Xeno Trunks and Archie Silver were both used instead of their canon counterparts (Future Trunks and Game Silver) is that Canon Trunks obliterates Game Silver like the crew admitted it themselves on the Death Battle Cast that just using their normal counterparts, it would a very easy win for Future Trunks.
Other than that, this fight was really great, hearing KaiserNeko reprising his role as Trunks from Dragon Ball Z Abridged was really cool but Silver legit having his official voice actor from the games though under an alias as the name of that alias was "Esu Onsti" which is "It's No Use" spelled backwards like that was clever.
Well I would talk about that next time but you already saw it so yep, you've kept your word from last year and you 100% caught up to all of us and now I shall see you for Season 10 when you get ready for those reactions. So until then, I will catch you later on.

Hands down this is the best and possibly the closest fight ever in season 9 imagine what it would be like if this fight was 3D.

Even the misses were hits. Every episode was good, just to different extents.
@@Ris_Grestar definitely agree. Except Gogeta vs Vegito,I honestly find that one pretty boring. But it's not bad. It had some good jokes, and the fight had a few cool stuff too. First thing off the top of my head being the fist bump a the end.
@@kadenmacdonald4416 I think it was relatively empty, yeah, and the animation should've been better, but it was still entertaining to me, and the overall presentation of the episode helped it some, too (rather than just looking at the battle itself).

@@kadenmacdonald4416 And it's bound to to an extent considering both combatants are Dragon Ball characters, but I think I even talked at the time about how the battle felt very fanservicey.
Nice that you're finally done with this. Anyway, ignore the part about Xeno Trunks having a finite level of speed. It's false, nobody in the community agrees with it, and even the Death Battle research team later themselve admitted that Dragon Ball Heroes characters also have Incalculable speed just like Archie characters.

Hey Ris, I want to say I loved your reaction to honestly my favourite episode of Death Battle to date. I love how you actually pay attention to what's being said and formulate a decent argument for a character you think should win, with the given information (which is surprisingly uncommon with most reaction channels not specifically associated with Death Battle content).
However, I do want to clear up the confusion with Trunks' power being infinite or not and whether or not the Dragon Ball multiverse is infinite. @6:53 - 7:10, they discussed how the Dragon Ball Heroes arcade game is another method of time travel for the players outside. When ever they time travel through the Arcade, it creates a lesser branch time that doesn't add to the scrolls of eternity (for some reason). Meaning that Dragon Ball Xenoverse should have infinite timelines, and that Trunks' power should reasonably be infinite

Unfortunately this battle is pretty inaccurate about both characters. Most notably, Silver only got a Super form when Sonic lended him energy for it, which would be outside help. Surprisingly, he never even had all 7 Chaos Emeralds. That alone means Trunks should have won given Death Battle’s rules, but it doesn’t help that the exact arguments they used for Trunks not having incalculable speed can apply to Silver.
I’d have to disagree in regards to Silver’s super form being considered outside help and thus not being applicable in this scenario. While true Silver first achieved his super form by sharing the chaos energy from Super Sonic, he was shown having a link to the chaos force when he fought Shadow, using one Chaos emerald to counter Shadow’s own Chaos Control technique.
Mogul also taught Silver the ways of Chaos magic and of the Chaos force, meaning Silver would have the capability to harness the power of the Chaos emeralds to acquire a super form, just like Sonic and Shadow.
@@chaosshadic40 I’m aware of that, but he hasn’t tapped into it in the same way. If he could then the comics would’ve played out way differently. Regardless, I don’t see him having the time to channel it before Trunks takes him out.

@@ningenslayer6306 I hear ya in regards to respectful disagreements. People can get a bit crazy. When at the end of the day, we all have to remember that this show is just for fun and not to be taken too seriously.
I mean Megaman went super in the crossover for the first time and Sonic didn't have to share the power with him for it to happen, they both just grabbed the emeralds. Scourge also almost went super using the Master Emerald before Locke knocked him off it, and i believe that was his first time ever using an emerald before too, so it shouldn't be too surprising Silver could go super as well without it having to be shared. There's also Knuckles
@@chaosshadic40 Plus only three episodes are actually canon anyway and they're the Red vs Blue episodes, since they had the official writers work on them.
