Very cool, I'm about to do the same, since you're inspiring. In a way easier than you, but also longer. My E91 is a 6mt sport pack CIC, rest base and my E90 335 is a fully loaded M pack, comfort access, individual sound system , LCI. So swapping all the goodies will be a pain, I think Ill go full wiring swap for this one.
I just binged through your build.. Nice work! I might of missed it, but did you upgrade your fuel pump and replace your Coilpacks when doing Injectors?
Didn't touch the fuel pump, but I did install new coils if I recall correctly. It was a very tame build with lots of OEM components. Thanks for watching!
Great numbers Chris. On stage 2+ my guess was 350 wheel. I think the dip at the end is definitely caused by back pressure from the exhaust. When my car has new index 12 injectors and a bigger intercooler, it will run on MHD stage2. I can't do downpipes, because of the yearly inspections. Dutch regards, Nico.
Not a big deal, I think you can still get great power with stock downpipes, but you will run into heat soaking issues sooner. You won't notice though if you're just doing one "pull" at a time, and not tracking the car. Thanks for watching Nico!
@@ckodezpohio5944 Hi. The problem is in the Netherlands when they discover no cat or an empty one, you commit a crime. Not kidding. They are nuts here in Holland
how much power did you end up making? found a wagon 535xi 6 speed RWD converted with MHD stage 2, 7in IC, index 12, catless downpipe and was wondering how much power it would make
Great content! the boost tapers off a bit on the stage 2 + map, so looks good to me, best to change gear 6000 or less on stock turbos to keep in power band.
Are.you still running the stock compressor bypass valves? If they are replace em with some Chinese ones. The stock ones leak at higher boost. Vehicular diy has a good vid on this. It would be good to see what a dual cone intake gets you over the stock air box too!
MHD logs would be useful. You are probably seeing throttle closures because of voost overshoot with those inlets so worthwhile repeating the video with a custom tune.
stage2+ says right on the specs "using a peak of 16 to 18 PSI tapering to 12-14 PSI at redline." The dyno guy should be logging intake temps and psi min on that chart.
Numbers at the end of the video, and those are RWHP, so you could estimate 15-20% drivetrain loss after the crank. If I wanted more power, I think I'd open up the exhaust more, and maybe do bigger turbos. But this was a really fun power level! Good luck with your build
Not in the souths heat it wont. You have never been to Florida. Open airbox or exposed filters then no sheilding you just suck in outside air and if you live in a hot humid place it wont make you any extra power because those filters are just taking in hot dense air.
I've got a question for you. I've got a e61 535xi and curious what the boost levels for each tune. When I was on 1 I got up to 12psi. When I was on 1+ I got up to 17.8psi. Now I'm on 2 and I'm getting 15.8psi. Nothing has been changed on my car. I'm curious why I'm making less boost on 2 than when I was on 1+.
I believe its the same just less timing for Az/Ca/Nv 91 gas. Im also running that map on my E61 till I can get a custom tune for E40. I've read on the forums that you could load the stage 2 plus 93 map and just splash a couple gallons of E85 with your 91 for some more aggressive spirited driving but do that at your own risk!
Thank you for sharing the cartoon love the car. You really have to get the car breathing in order to determine what the car can do. think of Usain Bolt running the 400 but in a gas mask. You've got to be losing 10 to 15% is my conservative estimate
There's definitely more power left on the table with this setup, I agree! But for now, this is fast enough for me, and it's a sleeper with the quiet exhaust! Sounds more like a vacuum cleaner 😁
Fantastic numbers. Every time you feature this car, it makes me want to get my 535 up and running even more. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
Stage 2+ also generates alot of heat from the standard turbos.Could be the drop off in power later on in the revs.👍
Thanks for the heads up!
that thing is slowly going from a tame animal to a wild beast! i know they aren't new, but those wheels are sick
Thanks Nikolas! Yeah it's suits the big body really well
Amazing job on the 335i wagon, Chris. With no lift and from you home garage, WOW!! Keep wrenching.

Thanks! I have the same wagon but stick ! I’m wondering if the swap would be similar To yours
Loving the build 👍👍👍🙌
Love to see it!!!! Can't wait to get mine finished 😩 the Xi to RWD is kicking my ass
looks like it would be a blast to drive

@@TheBimmerBarn okay , good to know. My goal with the car was 400 crank hp . Thanks👍🍻
I smashed out my cats, and looks stock, should maybe try it, makes a big difference

@@TheBimmerBarn I really need to change my channel name 😆 I'm an N54 nutter now days with China 17ts
Have been binge watching your vids bud, really enjoying the content! I've learnt a thing or 20 so far lol
Great, thanks for the comment! I'm glad you found some value from the videos ☺️👍
Very nice dude!
looks amazing

Yeah I am, and you're probably right! Honestly slipped my mind, there's probably more power on the table with this tune!
MHD logs would be useful. You are probably seeing throttle closures because of voost overshoot with those inlets so worthwhile repeating the video with a custom tune.
Definitely more power left on the table with the mods currently installed. I'm happy with the power level though, it was simple enough!
i thought it would make 400 hp at least dam. isnt a dp and tune give you 100whp?
stage2+ says right on the specs "using a peak of 16 to 18 PSI tapering to 12-14 PSI at redline." The dyno guy should be logging intake temps and psi min on that chart.
Mine stage 2 plus e40 on v5 map does 19-21 psi 😅
nice job
Why did you tune on 91 octane? Doesn't Florida have 93? And stage 2 plus on 93 is way better!
So how much did you actually get boss man… I’m new to the 335i family & have tha same mods except for the inlets… so is it 500 or 400 that you got

Yo why are you running 91 and not 93 in FL?
This place looks familiar same dyno shop vehicle viral using right?
Yeah! Eurocharged of Orlando works with a few other people in the area with YT channels
Damn, wish Samcrac was there to make a special appearance
Ive seen 2 other stage 2+ cars both on 93 octane making 375whp ur exhaust is definitely choking u at the top end try straight piping it
Great job 👍🇸🇪
Thanks Michael 💪
Off topic question ... your phone shows 5G ... which carrier do you have as with Tmobile in the state of FL that is a fable.
AT&T 😁
looks like you have a leak somewhere. still good numbers
Thanks!
you need a dual cone intake or dinan setup, you are restricting power and choking engine. you can expect 20-30 more whp.

Look on MHD website stage 1+ is rated up to 380 whp stage 2 rated for 360 and stage 2+ 420. I think his number are off become his Exhaust and intake’s
What index injectors your running?
Mixed bag of 4's, 7's, and others. I'd change them in the near future if I was keeping the car, but for now it runs really strong!
How much psi is stage 2+ on 91 anc ?

Needs some ethanol!!
That’s not a 335i
Hey do you have Insta? I have a few questions about the swap i’m doing the same one myself. I don’t have too much to ask, id really appreciate it :)
