As a 2 year beginner I'll tell those asking for a strumming pattern to quit; as I did, and forget them. Listen FIRST and while doing so TAP anywhere and you'll get the count ( 1/8, 1/4 notes etc). Once you have it repeat and speak them out. Count to the Tap aka Beat and speak... One ,Two , Three, Four, or One & Two & Three, & Four. Qtr & 8th notes respectively. If you can change the chords efficiently, your already 80% there. Other songs become easier too. I learned the hard way!

For this one it’s the standard E tuning. So it should sound the same. Is your guitar tuned to E A D G B e?

why got G and A instead of those 230003 seems harder
Sometimes I do it with chords and sometimes not. Both has it's advantages. Here I chose tabs because of the view picking parts
@@jctabs im learning and the A G chords seem easier.
It is definitely easier with just the chords (as long as you know the chords) but when there is picking involved it's good to have the full tabs :)
