    Grace said she doesn’t like to be labeled anything. But I’m gonna call her a LOVELY HUMAN BEING. I wholeheartedly agree with much of what she shared in this interview of her thoughts and feelings about various things. And some of her views are 180 degrees different than mine and I mean polar opposite. But that doesn’t change the good feeling I feel toward her as another person going through life, living and learning. From the reading of so many of the comments here that express feelings toward Grace similar to my own, it’s apparent that Karma is a real thing: Grace gets what she gives-
    Tolerance, an open mind, a willingness to listen to other’s views, and APPRECIATION & LOVE.
    I love Grace.
    I kinda feel like going out and carving that on a tree somewhere...

    It's lovely to come across someone who is grounded, straight-talking and yet tolerant and open-minded at the same time. For me, spiritual but not religious is the way forward, and those who get to a point where they see their own addictions are the ones in the vanguard of bringing spirituality to the fore. Let's fight our 'jihad' internally. 'Bright and funny' appeal to me too. Sorry Arik, but it's a shame that you had to initially read your script from your clipboard. All people who have come to terms with their addictive behaviours - not just Grace - deserve more respect than that.

    I just LOVED listening too this interview. She makes TEN TIMES more sense then any politician or religious leader. My god if we could only "EMBRACE" this kind of mentality. Think about how much more peaceful this world would be. It's really not that difficult folks we just make it that way due to our own stubborn ignorance.

Because i am the youngest in my family I thought I knew 60's music. i am smart enough to know to brush up on 60's songs before the cruise, which is what I am doing now. Wow! There are so many songs I vaguely remember. But, as an adult, with a great sound system, these 60s songs are amazing. They totally led the way for all of the music to follow!! My Pandora and Amazon Prime are now set to 60's music!!

    IMO, Grace Slick & Jerry Garcia, with their Genius & quick-witted, highly intelligent personality will go down in History right up there with Twain, Hemingway & the likes. Although they are often ridiculed by many unaware (& perhaps just too young to be able to appreciate) people out there who just think they were just old drug-taking Hippie Musicians out of the Psychedelic 60's. If one would take the time to listen to just one interview from each & really take it in, I feel they would come out of that experience with the realization these two (& more from that Era) with all their deep Wisdom, are VERY special people put on this Earth to teach us - all their wonderful Music aside. Grace & Jerry - we Salute you. Happy 46-yr Anniversary of Woodstock !

    I totally agree on her views on Catholics. I have had friends who were Catholic and they were fine people. But they put way too much emphasis on the Virgin Mary. I was raised Baptist, then when I was older I tried different religions and now I am just a Christian. Religion gets in the way. I don't have a problem with God but I do have a problem with religion. You know who was one great spiritual catholic that I could watch over and over as a jew without any problems whatsoever - Bishop Fulton J. Sheen. There are many of his old shows in black n white on TH-cam. Talk about a great man. His last sermon I saw was on Dostoyevsky given to regular middle class people who more than likely never heard of Dostoyevsky. And he made it work. And charisma, he exuded it like a fire.

      AlphaSuck actually, she's very much economically conservative. She's worked hard for everything she's got and is not part of the Free $hit Society. . She feels no Bern......

      @zairadiaz7415 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Grace has consistently provided honest, logical reasoning and thoughtful input attached to just about every question she has been asked.
      A person gets my respect when they can articulate like this, whether I think they are right or wrong, like "Feeling the Bern" for example. I believe nothing is free, someone is always paying for whatever is promised and that his politics may work in a state like Vermont, but implementing those beliefs on a national scale is pretty naive. Someone like Grace would respect that if I went on with some facts and examples I would share and that would be that. I wouldn't be a racist or homophobe nor would they be a red or commie.
      If we could take something positive from the people of her generation it should be this...that people who oppose their beliefs still have the right(s) to them. It doesn't make them racist, homophobic, antisemitic, communist, right or wrong. If anyone can provide factual evidence from credible sources to support their belief/claim, then that should at least be respected. This type of discourse has turned into heros vs villains depending on what side of you believe the most. Everything has become so political, trying way to hard to make a label or title identifying what their actions are on a daily, hourly, minute to minute basis which has proven ignorant, exclusive, and dangerous. It seems everywhere you go and everything you attempt has to focus on politics.
      Let's all always love our country and not trust our government.

      Zaira Diaz. Hey Zaira. I could respect a position like that but I just don’t see it like that. I like to think of it from cosmopolitan point of view or globally. There’s a right wing wave going on around the world, which is accompanied by an hyper individualistic and irresponsible ideology. This ideology is perpetuated by algorithms and targeted videos, outside influence. This results in predatory capitalism and war. This is what’s costing us. Our labor is increasingly becoming worthless and competition is a huge waste of resources. Cooperation and empathy can balance some of this out, I believe. It is because of this is why I’m with Bernie Sanders. I do believe in individuals, their power, and pursuing interests but collectively we can do much much more. Domestically, mental illness and homeless is rampant. Americans can’t help anyone until they get better. We’ve been in a fearful and ignorant state for too long. It’s effecting our collective decision making. Economics and technologies are important tools but we are being controlled by them and being influenced by them and not controlling them. We must use them to tend to the earth and it’s peoples. So, a rearrangement of priorities is necessary between short terms profits and long term global health. Thank you for your time!

    Being openly gay myself for the last 30yrs. I have to say that people quite literally pick and choose what passages from the bible suits there own agendas. So where it says something to the affect of; "Man shall not lay with man". On the other side of the coin it also says; "Do not judge lest you be judged yourself". Or you can reference why Jesus stopped the stoning of Mary Magdalene. And told the crowd if none of you has any sin throw the first stone. To which they all dropped them and walked away. It's like Grace said the bible does contradict itself many times over. And so it's rather blasphemous of us to pick a given passage and use that as ammo if you will just to put someone else down. That's not why the good book was written folks.

    I'm pretty much like Grace in that I really don't care what your religious beliefs are, as long as you're not hurting anyone. Heck, you can worship a doorknob for all I care. You can even stand on the street corner and preach whatever gospel you subscribe to. I really don't mind. The only ones I really have a problem with are the jerks on Capitol Hill who are trying to turn this country (the US) into a theocracy. We all have to live on this rock together, and if you don't respect my beliefs and right to live how I want, why should I respect yours?
