Neat, some things to try:
- Combine Dramaturgy with Hardened. One of the possible downsides to Dramaturgy is is makes you scream with no other effect, with Hardened though you instead see the killer’s aura. (There’s a similar minor synergy with Bardic Inspiration where if you roll a 1 you see the killer’s aura instead of screaming.) Unfortunately I suspect Hardened and Scene Partner just cancel each other out though. 🤷♂️
- just to clarify something, Spooky seemed to imply you can only ever get 3 tokens per match on the new chest perk, but it looks like that’s actually a limit on how many you can have stored. So you get 3 tokens, for instance, use them to reduce a gen’s max, then go get 3 more and use it a second time to reduce a gen’s max, and so on. Of course, to get more then 3 charges worth you have to be rummaging around in more than 3 chests, so combining this with chest related perk like Appraisal and an offering to add more chests to the map could work well.
It says Open or Rummage through a chest, so Appraisal which gives you the rummage option, means you get 2 tokens per chest. So you need 2 chests to get 4 tokens, which is kinda insane
but is it worth it? since you are spending 10s + rummage to get 2 tokens which save you 8s on gen... and you have to factor in the time getting to the gen
@@cr3izien392 You're forgetting though that you also get an item when you rummage and there's a good chance that item more than makes up for the time getting it just on its own. Also you're assuming that you're always able to be on gens when you're not being chased, but sometimes for example the gen you want to work on is blocked, so occasionally you can open a chest during that time rather than just be idle.
@@cr3izien392 its going to be great against 3 gens mainly and with things like weaving spiders and BNPs. im gonna put it on my loot goblin build and be getting tons of rare items with good addons, and still be saving time on gens, so it wont be a total waste of time to do chests anymore.
@@cr3izien392 It reduces the gens required charges it's absolutely worth it, if you're pushed off that gen, no matter what the killer does that gen is still going to need less charges overall.

Yeah. Any and all sources of screams. Ultimate Weapon, the doctor/clowns powers, eruption, pain res, all of it. It only effects the survivor that screams, so thats a silver lining. Still expect to find discordence users so all your aura reading is useless btw.

No for live they will require the survivor to unhook 3 survivors, vault 2 pallets, unscrew 1 lightbulb, die, then the next game the perk will activate until you get hit once then be removed from your game forever. :P
I’m looking forward to seeing her in game and using her. I’m honestly annoyed with the complaining from people who are saying she isn’t horror enough despite the fact that there are horror elements in tomb raider and I am annoyed that people are also complaining about the dnd dlc as well saying the same thing. Both tomb raider and dnd have elements of horror in them. These chapters don’t have to be 100% horror. They can have some connection to horror.
It also kind of annoys me that some people are complaining by saying stuff like “oh great Lara Croft is coming to dbd it’s going to be like smash ultimate or Fortnite I bet they will add a bunch of other random characters”

The one thing I don’t like its the perks are not lore accurate to her game.

She is a literally more physically capable then most survivors in the game hence her vault (she literally pulls her entire body up into a 90 degree angle from a straight hang on cliffs), and last but not least shes LITERALLY the tomb raider, she scavenges and LOOTS things to create better equipment or to get her through puzzles. Bros never played a TR game.
I feel like hardened would have good synergy with dramaturgy. With how often it makes you scream.

Mmmmm, unfortunately that isnt quite how it works. Scene Partner only activates *after* you scream, not *if*. If you run calm spirit or hardened, you won't scream and therefore no aura 😔

Hardened perk is basically, just a shit version of calm spirit, alert, fogwise with extra steps, that need you to find side objectives to get just a tiny bit of value, if the perk valued you're time it would've been like
30 seconds of killer aura reading after doing 2 side objectives, and it would still be mid

Scene partner doesnt work with lara crofts perk i tested. Because it prevents screams. Meaning scene partner wouldn't even work with it at all lol

actually you scream anytime you're injured or hooked. i had a tome challenge to make survs scream 44 times and got it done in one match cuz of ult weapon, and learned that injury and hook counts as making scream. soo technically you should see aura when ur hooked too. which could be helpful in a swf

One thing i woul like to mention is the player model for Lara Croft is from a version of her from 2013 by looking at her left side, in Tomb Raider 2013 you pretty much start the game by landing on a spike and i think that would be fitting for the entity to take her in that time of frame from that game since shes likeley presumed dead or missing in universe for DBD
About Specialist; great Skill Check part also works with BNP Skill Check. So you reduce 10 max charges on gen from BNP and 12 from Specialist, 22 seconds off of a gen.
Hardened against Doc is gonna be one of my favorite things in this game

and survivor mains wont see the issues just bitch and complain that killers are pushing even harder. You run these perks dont ever fucking complain about getting tunneled out because soon even skill wont cover the gap that has been created.
Behavor has let there mask slip they arnt even trying to pretend they dont cater to survivors.
Remember that Pharmacy, Residual Manifest, and the Gabriel toolbox perk (Troubleshooter?) also let you rummage chests once.
I was also curious whether Specialist can be applied multiple times to the same generator. I’m assuming it can.
And I’m absolutely going Finesse, Lithe, Quick and Quiet… then pick your poison between Resilience, Windows, Cut Loose, or a few others…

Imagining if all 4 SWF bring Specialist and shiny coin offerings, and happen to Vers a Vecna who brought Hoarder/Franklins/Weave Attunement build lol. Crazy amount of token gathering and usage.
I like that there's a unique animation for finesse, opens up the window for more stuff like that in the future. Like, imagine if they changed sprint-burst to have a genuinely sprinting animation instead of just making you go faster with the same old running animation. I'm talking 110% full power sprinting, got a t-rex on your ass sprinting.
God imagine having active hardened against a doctor in chase
already calm spirit is usually underrated, but goes well with distortion if you never wanna get seen
this is like jsut a straight upgrade from calm spirit, with a little bit of prep, but if people are willing to do said prep for a heal perk, then this isnt that bad

Additionally. Installing a brand new part counts as a great skill check.
Imagine this: a certain singularity main who takes hostages with 3 gens against the build. Brand new part with 3 stacks of specialist reduces a generator by 22 charges + 12 charges if you get off gen and search/rummage 3 additional times. 34 charges taken off a gen perminantly. Using weaving spiders will take another 10 off for 44 total. Let's say you also got shiny coin for 2 more chests with a total of 16 more charges gone. 60 charges of a generators max progress just gone. If someone has potential energy or even just a pair of people with toolboxes will deal with what's left of the generator.
Note: Generators have 90 charges, this build at best removes 2/3rds of a generator if done perfectly (60 charges off one gen and an additional 10 off all other gens for a total of 120 max gen progress gone). I also don't know if brand new parts stack.
Her build fits the character so well. I really like the idea behind her perks, being a scavenger and treasure hunter and becoming stronger the more you do.

During the PTB yesterday. I had such a wholesome huntress, They noticed someone give up at 5 gens. And they ended up giving me a very long 1v1 and it was a lot of fun.
With all the game licenses, I wonder if they're talking to Namco about licensing Splatterhouse. Granted Masked Rick could probably just be a set of Oni Skins and unmasked Rick from Splatterhouse for PS3 could just be a Dwight skin, but it would be interesting to see that franchise get some attention and possibly a PC port of the PS3/Xbox 360 game.
Is there a bug in the ptb where it skips generators I had a game where I watched two survivors the last two survivors do the last four generators but they only had to do three generators it skipped one of them

I still think people are gonna run Finesse with Resilience. If you’re super speed vaulting already healthy, while also very speedy vaulting while injured, their synergy just will make sense. No matter what your health state, your vault speed will be fast.
Finesse and lithe I'm expecting. Hardened is kinda of niche but could be ideal for those who like to immerse while placing boons for teammates. Specialist could revive looter builds but the problem is having more than one person with it on or everyone else opening chest kills the build so it becomes imperative to run it with appraisal for consistency. Overall some interesting perks enhancing a couple different playstyles.
Speaking of Lara Croft u should play the games if u can, they are really fun.
It's actually really cool that the devs try to give survivors something to do besides only holding M1 on gens. But I guess, those perks are not strong enough to become anything like meta, so it's soon back to genrushing.
I still think, survivors need to be forced to something other than gens to prevent this...maybe finding parts to install or something. Anything would help break the genrush meta!
Spooky didn't test to see if you could repeatedly use the gen progress perk on the same generator.
Pair Specialist with Plunderer’s Instinct (or Pharmacy if you want good medkits) and you got yourself some juicy chests

What if she combines that chest/gen rush perk with Sable's Invocation perk? Would it stack? How much of the gen would be shaved off?
If you used all three tokens, a BNP and Weaving Spiders you'd shave about 32% off of a gen

My only complaint is that the perks "Hardened" and "Specialist" seem incredibly weak and niche, and dont really fit her character
Combination I immediately thought off was invocation and specialist
so that means if we combine the invocation perk with specialist we can potentially get over 20 stacks of gen progress...
Don't forget about a brand new part as well.

Honestly they should nerf finesse instead of cooldown apply the exhausted status effect because if you pair it with lithe, you basically outrun the killer which is unfair
tbh finesse should work while injured but should disable incase the person is using resilliance together with it
10:57 when you get picked up at about 11:00 there’s only one person working on the generator (everyone else is either dead or dying) and 2 gens pop at the same time… do you think this is due to the perk Specialist?? Or I don’t even know how that would work

I still think finesse and resilience together is still good even though they don't stack. You vault fast as hell every 30 seconds while healthy. And then eventually you will get hit. So resilience then makes you vault slightly faster than normal. So its worth it maybe.
Her other two perks are gonna be niche, useful mostly against certain killers. Anti scream will be useful against Doctor and killers using Hex Face the Darkness.
I think the killer in the first game was playing Baba Yaga as a reference to the Rise of the Tomb Raider dlc quest lol

But I got a question, does rummaging apply for everyone? Like, if you rummage a chest, can the other survivors rummage thro it too? (If they got the perk of course)
And, by up to 3, does it mean you can stack up to 3 tokens, or you have a limit of 3 uses on the perk, cuz if you can get an infinite (limited to the amount of chests and rummage tokens) amount of tokens, that's a bit strong imo

if a 4 man runs BNP, a full rummage build except one person running invocation, you can remove a total of 2 and 1/3 progress from generators. if the killer has hoarder is can be up to 2.5 gens.

Hardened completely defeats my 2nd favorite build on the Doc I like to call "Let me hear you SCREAM" Where-in all the perks and add-ons are designed around making survivors scream as much as possible. True Calm spirit also does this, but Hardened tells them my exact location every time they're supposed to be screaming, and with that build, I would basically give them game long wallhacks on me. Sigh... RIP 2nd Favorite Doc build.

Wait, all killer window speed perks stack. Put on fire up / superior A / bamboozle and the K is vaulting at least 55% every 30 seconds or at max 75%. But Finesse with Resi is too far 😂
Yes, it would absolutely be too far. Survivors already vault significantly faster than Killers, with it requiring 3-4 perks _and_ intentionally lost pressure to achieve it for the Killer while still being slower than what Finesse + Resi would be.
Myers with the full vault speed build would still take about 0.8 seconds, while a Survivor with Finesse and Resi would take less than 0.4, this also leaves them with 2 perk slots available such as Lithe, Windows, or anything else allowing them to effectively escape _any_ chase that's started near a window, completely regardless of Killer agency.

I don't quite understand your statement ... you need more time to open the chest and possibly search through it than you save on the generator in the end (maybe not if you find a good toolbox). In addition, the survivors will run around like chickens looking for the chests (especially in SoloQ) to activate the perk with cost even more time. Furthermore, they will miss out on at least 2 perks that they could have used for Deja-Vu or Hyperfocus or Stake-Out..... All in all, another useless perk like potential energy or invocation in the basement, which robs the survivors of more time than it actually saves.
You trade the time to make a gen for the time to search for chests, so, no.
It isn't for gen rushing. It's for rewarding the 90% of survivor base that rummages through chests instead of doing their objective. It's to help newb players out moreso than veterans.
A far more threatening combo is Finesse, Lithe and Dance With Me. Good luck knowing where the fuck the survivor ran if it's Lery's, Gideon, Underground Complex or even Midwich potentially. Add in Vigil, and the killer will be really annoyed with you.

While I am excited that Lara Croft is in the game because she's a legend and she definitely fit to be here, I just wish they gave her better perks. Finesse is just a fancier version of Lithe in my opinion and the other two perks, seems common as well. I feel like they should have gave her a perk to where if she gets down on the ground, then she can crawl 50% faster to be out of sight. And by her being a risk taker, gave her a perk to where she can get herself off the hook, unlike Slippery Meat. Not to mention her Survival Instincts. But oh well, I'm still going to look forward to playing as her character 💜🌹🌹🌹👏🏾🙌🏾.
I doubt it but I hope her being on here, is a sign that she has a 4th game coming out soon. Because I am patiently waiting for another Tomb Raider game. And I'm hoping it's at least 22 hours long🙏🏾🙏🏾
