Way way back in the 1980s and early 90s ; the one stage with the blue base, actually used to be a pool, and they had divers go into that pool...after that it had various shows. but initially, it was a diving show, they filled the pool in with concrete afterwards.
@@125RollerCoaster ; if youd like other information just ask me, I spent 20 years during the high times of 'fantasy island' prior to 'martins fantasy island' and two flags over niagara, for example near the older water slides, during the early 90s the park stored the old crystal beach(ontario) Comet Rollercoaster, prior to it being moved to Lake George. Or just beyone where the Serpent is now, was the old log flume ride, where the merry-go round is- that circular area, was a big castle where there was 'cinderella' and a horse drawn carriage you could ride in with her around in that small circle withe the princess.
They got the flying witch from rye playland and it did not close I believe they had 3 dark rides gave that one for sale and they want a new ride to replace it I believe. I hope to visit this park next year.
thanks for the info and watching. Love this park and was bummed I wasn't able to get back there at the end of the season to ride Serpent. Big goal for 2025.
@@125RollerCoaster yea they tried hard to get all up and running and have enough cars for the serpent and old fashioned ones as well. And I really hope the flying falcon gets put up I loved the version at Marineland.
They got it mostly built now, I rode it at Playland in August, 1999 my only visit there and rode the Zombie Castle and Ye Old Mill. This park has a nice mix of rides including an old Allan Herschell fake steam train and the antique cars. The new owners seem to be improving the park. I was never there, but I was to Niagara Falls, Ontario July 2006 and went through several haunted attractions there that are open year round. There is one on the NY State side that I didn't go in. The guy who bought Indiana Beach bought this park. It used to be Martin's Fantasy Island.
@@robkrasinski6217 you are correct and Gene Staples is doing an amazing job with both Niagara and it's sister park, Clementon Park in NJ. Thanks for watching and sharing.
