My local shop recently got all their new ES in and I've been really tempted to grab an etb, but at the price and pull rates I can't bring myself to do it. I'll grab sleeved packs when I can find them in store, but paying anything over $4 a pack and getting nothing is not worth it. Spent $80 last week on evo skies and I pulled absolutely nothing. That really hurt, and was a bad financial decision on my part, i really could of used that money elsewhere but i couldn't resist the opportunity to get the packs at the time. Its a struggle 🙃

Once again, I really appreciate this kinda of data. I assume you've opened enough packs by now to have a sufficient sample set/size. I'll have to go back and study some of your videos in detail ... I'm curious as to odds or ratios of ANY an alt art V, alt art VMAX, rainbow rare, etc. At this point, I think it's easier to buy the specific card you want however it is so much fun opening a bunch of packs. Just spent my whole day off work here in Australia trying to find ES product, came up completely empty! These pull rates continue to convince me to keep the ETBs I bought a couple of months back (one of each) unopened 😅
Everything has been bought up right, the reprint is meant to come to Australia in Nov/Dec but I have a feeling a lot of it will be scooped up quickly a lot of the online stores are already sold out on the pre orders :(
That's a great set!! I just pulled my first big hit from this set yesterday the raquazza v alternate art. Before this I've old gotten minimal v, holo or mostly nothing lol. Finally!!
I bought a darkness ablaze etb a couple of days ago and pulled one rare holo. Is this typical? This Is by far the worse pokemon experience I have ever had. I paid $45 for $5 worth of bulk
Those pull rates weren't too bad, but like you said, a FA or alt amongst all those ETBs would've been nice. I still enjoy rainbow rares. Sure, the colors pop more on the regular versions of the card, but I like how the texturing/etching is customized to the card itself. Like the Boltund rainbow has a bunch of lightning bolts and the Lady FA from Lost Abyss has a bunch of flowers. It adds some character to the card. Yesterday's stream was a blast! They're always a good time.
I do agree, I'm also tired of rainbow cards. The only exception I'll make is Rainbow Pikachu from Vivid Voltage. Using Brilliant Stars as a example, I would much rather pull the alt art Charizard or even the full art Charizard more than the rainbow one. The reprints for the Evolving skies blisster packs must have amazing pulls because i bought 2 packs and pulled a leafeon vmax alt art. And i have terrible luck.

I opened an ETB last week and the pulls were very crappy. I agree too the rainbow cards are the ones I care the less. I think if there would be less of them per sets, like 3-4, it might help being happy to pull them.

My luck is improving lol pulled Sylveon vmax alt art from an ETB. Bought five packs today and got 1 holo, and Espeon Vmax and Leafeon vmax! Pulled Jolteon Vmax, and two Espeon vmax recently too and several other cards that were hits that I’m still less excited about.
I’ve had great luck with this reprint. I have opened 36 sleeved boosters (from GameStop) and three ETBs for a LGS in Wisconsin, and pulled three alt art Vs: Umbreon, Dragonite, and Rayquaza. So the reprint isn’t all bad!
I forgot to mention that it was Cayla's (who got the hidden fates shiny charizard GX last stream) birthday a few days ago. What a great birthday present!
This sort of hit rate is why I have drastically decreased how many packs I open anymore. Just not worth it to me to spend on an ETB or BB and end up with so few hits on some of these sets.
People really are hoping someone at Pokemon HQ accidentally tripped at the factory and caused reprinted packs to have higher pull rates lmao. Can't blame them, these alternate arts are beautiful and there are just so many to collect.

I just found this little hole in the wall gas station and the guy had 4 Evolving Skies ETB's "they literally had dust on them" on this huge shelf behind the counter, he had em marked at $39.99 each bit said if I buy em all he'll sell em to me for $29 each cause no one has bought any of them since he stocked em.Debating to sell em or open em.The struggle is real!

The worst of pulls the best of pulls- Evolving Cries.I finished this master set by hook or crook but on average the pull rates for FA ALt A's were terrible.But hey what a set .Keep up the great work bro.🙂BTW does anyone have a complete Chilling Pain or Fusion strike master set..yet to see one in the wild.
My luck with ETB's and other random product is bad. Why I stick to booster boxes but my Astral Radiance BB's were awful with opening 7 boxes with no AA and a decent amount of full art trainers. Not a fan of RR but if I'm gonna get a RR I hope it's a pokemon atleast. Can't wait if they discontinue TG in Scarlet & Violet and everything feels awful again. I think it would be smart for them to either continue TG and maybe have a theme of Gym Heroes/Challenge or finally move RR to reverse spot and make them easier to pull. Most RR are not pricey at all anyways besides Charizard and Umbreon. My best random product of all things was a 20$ Kleavor box getting the gold Samurott card and AA Celebi
This is exactly why I’ve resorted to just buying singles lol. I could go buy 6 ETBs and hope I pull the ultra rares, rainbows, full arts and alt arts I want or I could just buy the cards I want and save time, money, and not have to deal with hundreds of cards worth of bull lol
Here to say I was only lucky with one box out of 6. 2 of the ETBs only gave me 2 "hits", a holo and a V. T.T Out of the 48 packs that I opened, I was lucky to get Leafeon VMAX Alt, FA Vaporeon and FA Lycanroc.
That’s been about my luck for most ETBs. I stopped buying them because of that - only booster boxes and the premium collection boxes when I want the promo/single.
Opened 11 reprint sleeved boosters from Gamestop today - 0 ultra rares. And I agree, pls no more rainbow secrets. Not crazy about most golds either. I think alt art trainer/item cards would be really cool though, kinda like the gold stadiums
I waited and got another box of Japanese Eevee Heroes, at those pull rates on ETBs maybe Korean booster boxes would even be a better option. That was rough!

I agree man, rainbow trainers don't hit as hard as the full arts. I feel like they just get thrown in because why not and don't bring much to the set.

I got 2 ETBS from my LGS the first reprint run about 2 weeks ago and pulled the sylveon alt art. 3-4 Ultra rares in each one.

The blue-pink theme for the one ETB art makes sense but I dig the Umbreon and friends one!
The pull rates were tough. I noticed the sleeved ES boosters have had tougher pull rates than in past. I guess I better keep my ES ETB's sealed.
After 5 bb and 3 etbs I decided to buy the chase cards. Any ES I get now is thrown in the investment pile

Yeah ev skies has been very rough for me...two booster boxes, one etb, and a bunch of booster packs only hit was Gryados rainbow rare.

My same experience. The Costco boxes were horrible. The tins had better hits. 33 boxes and 6 alt full arts all from the tins.

Colors are more pleasant on the vaporeon box, but jolteon is my favorite mon. So both.

I got my best pull of ES from an original ETB vs a few booster boxes. Never tried with more etb if that was just good luck.

I opened one of those reprint ETBs too, but it was quite bad. It had one V (not even a good one) and one holo, nothing else.
