32:18 the equaliser is 18-band, so it has 18 centre frequencies that can be boosted or cut (from lowest at the top here / left on the screen, to highest at the bottom here / right on the screen):
24Hz is very deep sub-bass (not reproduced at all without a subwoofer),
36Hz/53Hz is sub-bass (only slight reproduction without a subwoofer),
80/120/170Hz is upper bass,
260/390/570Hz is low midrange (depth),
850Hz/1.3KHz is midrange (clarity/detail),
1.9/2.8KHz is upper midrange (most sensitive to human hearing, and where plosives and sibilance can cause fatigue. The tweeters start playing at around here and upwards).
4.1/6.1KHz is low treble (presence/definition),
and 9/14/20KHz is high treble (brilliance/air).
Any kind of boost is best avoided though, and if you need to apply any cuts, make sure the graph has a smooth curve. If there's a spike, there's not enough of a lesser amount (or no) cut at the left-adjacent and right-adjacent band to the band the cut is centred at.
32:36 "OFF" means the bass boost is... off :) If you change that from "OFF" to a Hz (hertz) value (as shown earlier at 32:10 ), it's then turned on, and that's the "centre frequency" to be boosted (as in, the bass boost is applied to the selected frequency and to a lesser extent the frequencies around it), and then the dial controls the amount of bass boost. The "F" and "R" means the setting is separate for the front and rear speakers. Again though, any kind of boost is best avoided.
Let me know if you want me to explain the HPF and LPF (high-pass filters and low-pass filters) and time correction, as obviously this comment is already long lol.

I felt physically sick having to hack saw my dash but it's pretty discrete and could go back to stock easily 🤣 it was worth it anyhow sick upgrade

Yes I realised shortly after why my mileage was flashing. In honestly it doesn't really bother me but would be nice to find a solution
thanks this is useful, even if I don't get same head unit, will be fitting to exact same dashboard , ducato motorhome , so useful to see the example. An IT security comment - if someone steals or just breaks into your MH, they have access to an unlocked android device signed into google as you. Depending on what you have linked to your google account , that could be really really bad. Good practice to create and use a standalone google account just for this device.

Here's an interesting annoyance of the c5 rs6.. Can't change the factory head unit because I'll lose functions of automatic volume adjustment and I won't be able to change the wheel size in the computer that adjusts the speedo and calibrates the said auto volume adjust.. How fkin dumb is that.. 😮

You have fitted it wrong. The brackets you have screwed to the dash are meant to be screwed to the head unit and then you screw into the dash so no one can steal it. You will need to remove the brackets you have attached to the head unit. Hope that makes sense?
Hmm maybe your right but you'd have no way to get to the screws as the facia plate has to go on first and the screen would be in the way of the screws? No ones going to steal an aftermarket stereo in 2024 surely it can stay as it is 🤣🤣🤣 cheers though appreciate the advice .

Did you get the dreaded flashing milage on your clocks? A lot of these Chinese units are not cambus safe and cause the milage to flash
