- With all their competition eliminated the Mapogos now controlled 8 prides. They were the kings of Sabi Sands. But the Mapago coalition wasn’t functioning smoothly. After a fight Mr. T and Kinky Tail split from the rest and occupied the Northern part of the territory.

Makhulu was a great leader but Mr.T had bigger goals for himself he could've taken the easy way staying with the pride but Kinky Tail and Mr.T believed in their numbers being only 2 they could achieve great things and they did and that gets a lot of respect they were ruthless warriors and died legends

.t,Kinkytail, prettyboy,rasta and dreadlocks while they were sub adults ,without Mak the West Street males would have been ousted and the sub adult's would probably have died. When the Mapogo's were ousted from the pride Makula led them and groomed his young partners which allowed them all to stay alive and grow into kings. Makula was a general and statesman and his only failure was that he couldn't keep Mr.T's ambitions in check.Makula won many fights with lions 1 v 1 and a few of those battles he ultimately killed his foe. Makula's cubs were the only cubs to survive Mr
T's purge. When Prettyboy died Mak was alone and its a video out here with him at a waterhole laying a few feet from it and there's 3 nomadic lions drinking water and not bothering the aged and week

That's not Makhulu, it's Pretty Boy, and that fight took place in 2011, and T won. Makhulu didn't even tried to fight.

7 prides( Nkuhuma from 3 n.avoca, 2 prides( probably 3 prides) from 2 south avocas, othawa pride from hb,+2 prides from BB). So 7 prides are controlled today from 8 male lions, not 17 male lions. The awesome thing about mapogos is that no other coalition has controlled so much territory and so many prides at once. Thats the way to say it. But not like you do

Mapogos never controlled nkuhuma and talamati pride. And why do you enlist the 2 Southern avocas? 2 southern avocas also controll the pride, which was abandonded by the Matimhale males in Knp. Th3 mpogos never controlled anything in kNP.So you do he count again. The mapogos controlled Mangheni pride(Nksuku,1 lion), Othawa pride( HB, 2), Sparta pride was controlled by the 2 southern avocas back then, 1 year go, when i made the coment. They also controll the sand river pride(4), Kambula pride and tsalala pride(BB,6), Nkuhuma pride has moved to KNP, but back then it was in the same territory as is kambula pride today, the lion density was just higher than today.They had one more pride(7 in total), thats why i said 8 male lions.
Now, you can not make the same count today, bcs the dynamics are gonna change very soon and there will be blood in SS. We will have this conversatiom after 1 year.
What th3 mapogos did was pretty special bcs they controlled 7 lion prides at once, a record still unbroken to this day. But 17 lions?
1 matimba, 1 Nssuku, 2southern avocas, 2 bb. Thats 6 male lions. I said, 8. Thats the territory, that the mapogos once had. The fourway pride does not count bcs it moved to KnP. The territory of the northern avocas does not count bcs the territory of the mapogos endet in north eastern ss, where the spart pride and Tsalala pride were located. The Nkuhuma pride and Talamai pride were located further north( Remember Mpogos controlled 80% of ss, not the entire ss). I think, the mapogos killed a lot of Nkhuma pride subs, lionesses and cubs. but they didnt stay with the pride, they( The mlowathis) were located east, mostly with the tsalala pride and they cpntrolled sparta pride, but they spent most of their time with the tsalala lionesses. So 6 male lions controll today the territory that the 6 mapogos controlled once. 10 if you count the nwaswishakas but the nwaswishakas are gonna take more territory in 2021, they are getting in their prime. So the number 10 will decrease to 8 male lions or less in the next months. But these 10 lions controll then more than the 6 mapogos once did, bcs the 2 south avocas have expanded their territory to the greater KNP, with the pride of the matimhale males

I think Kinky Tail died at 8 years old, because Mr.t and kinky tail were born in 2002 Kinky Tail in 2010 and then in July I think Rasta disappeared problobly shot by poachers he was shot they never found his body that same year in 2010 Dreadlocks died and was shot by a poacher in December they found his head hanging from a wall. So when Rasta and Dreadlocks died they were 10 I think they were born in 2000.
Ochoa Guillermo as SS Ranger Rob Vamplew (during that time) stated Rasta died after the fight with the Majingilane that took place at EP on July 9, 2010. He wasn’t seen after that and is highly assumed to have died of injuries. The fight wasn’t witnessed, only the roars could be heard.
