I’m literally painting my entire studio for my new TH-cam channel matte black right now. All my gear is in the kitchen with an army of chairs protecting it from my curious yellow lab. This channel was a huge inspiration for my decision to nix the eggshell I had for that matte black life! Only difference I made was I painted my shelf 18% grey so I can always easily white balance. I’ll be doing this charge station next, keep up the innovative content!
Great video...great idea. Just a few helpful hints. When threading the zip ties, do so that the clip part ends up behind the metal part to save fingers from scratches which can actually be quite painful. Maybe order some velcro on a roll of different widths to have around, 1/8 1/4 1/2 & 3/4 inch or just get the larger stuff and cut it down as needed. I use that stuff for everything. Depending on the cable, there might be a minimal bend radius so try not to bend them too sharply if possible. We also use 'lacing bars' for a lot of mounts and/or cable management. Easy to hang stuff from or mount stuff to.

Super exciting use of office supplies (not that office supplies aren’t exciting on their own, but you know). 👍 Also- could you put a wireless charger behind the pegboard to charge the MC light when it’s stuck on with magnets? That’d be awesome.
Fun fact: I got the same mesh letter sorter and I am using it to house my work laptop when I work from home. One slot for the laptop, the second to stowaway the wireless keyboard that is connected to it and the front one stores the earphones connected to the laptop. The whole thing sits behind the monitors and out of sight! 😄Love the charge wall!!
I love when Chris joins a video halfway through and immediately gives an intro of what's happening. Like "Dude, where you been for the past 5 minutes? We know this already!" 🤣

Assembled a charging pegboard for all our stuff because of this video. My cable management is no where near as good or neat. The great tip is that we can always reassemble it later on. Thank you for the awesome inspiration.

Awesome vid. Love matte black everything. I use a black permanent marker to mark out any texts and labels on devices that aren't black for extra blackness.
