"and the air felt like it would burst into flames" is a 30-minute piece created by André Gingras (Amsterdam) for PPS Danse, Montréal. The piece is part of the DIASPORAMA cycle, featuring works by Canadian artists living abroad.
The work premièred in 2008 at l'Agora de la danse in Montréal, performed by Pierre-Paul Savoie and Vincent Morelle. Since 2009, Andrew Turner and Lael Stellick have taken over the roles.
