Her c1 and c2 are huge buffs for her. C1 is a huge damage buff, and her c2 makes her a very good pyro applicator. IIRC, her c2 with nahida is one of the best pyro applications in the game. It doesn't require the utilization of bursts(Xiangling has to use her burst, and jean/benette bursts also)
I also want her C1. That's the reason I pulled for her and beacon.
Same. Right now I don't consider 50/50 loses that bad as long as I get her, Tighnari (also c0) or Jean (I'm so close to c4!)
I failed my 50-50 on Furina for my C1 Deyha which tbh I was happy that I got her out of the standard 5 stars cause I love her so much. Managed to still get Furina anyway so I won out on my Furina banner 🥰
her kit is surely a hot mess. thank goodness fontaine kind of brought light into her such as a flex for Neuvi hyperbloom teams, since she can proc instructors well, boosting Neuvi's, Nahida and the bloomer's damage. and being a ok defensive option on lyney team.
man i wish her burst had team healing though along with stacking oncoming damage to dish out more damage from her burst. she could have been the ultimate pyro defensive support for bennettless vape teams.
That's the thing with dehya, her kit has so many ways to be actually useful, yet feels like mihoyo measured each and every way to stop it right before it is useful, like, what's the need to reduce most of the interruption resistance mid skill? Why 4 seconds to proc so little pyro damage? Why less than 50% damage reduction at level 7? Why her burst hp multipliers are mostly locked in c1?
That's what got people asking a fix dehya, this feels too intentionally bad

I love using on-field Dehya despite her shortcomings, and have been frequently using her in my abyss runs. I love the way she plays and Furina just makes her team so much easiler to use. My biggest issue is still energy though, as she still needs a shit ton to burst every cycle, so I hope to eventually luck into her C4...
I think the biggest thing is that she provides resistance to interruption, while still allowing the on field unit to take dmg making it easier to work with the Marechaussee 4pc for non hp fluctuating units.
Compared to shields which while they do provide resistance to interruption, they also prevent changes in the characters hp unless manipulated with other sources (Furina Skill)
Non HP fluctuating units don't use Marechaussee unless they also use Furina on the team...

I like videos like this. You’re making it clear that she isn’t a meta choice but you’re still taking the time to be objective about the use cases where she can be a good choice to slot in. I feel like many other guides just tell you to build someone else if you even dare ask how to build an off meta unit.
And thats why these people suck ass. My Eula rocks anyone's else main out of the water effortlessly and she's bottom tier for being physical. Now with Furina I play her with Raiden, Furina and Mika and let me tell you, that team clears the abyss and virtually any content with absurdly ease. I can't see why people are so damn competitive about a game that does not even have fucking online play(lets be honest) and isn't pvp, nor does it has a ranking system incorporated into the game. Shoutout to those youtubers that upload their abyss runs with xinyan physical, freminet, yan fei vapes and amber hypercarry, these people are playing the game the way that it is supposed to be, the way that YOU enjoy it.
At the end of the day, this is still meta-gaming, which I feel like a lot of people forget. TCing is about optimizing the way you want to play. If you want to play Dehya, this is the meta.

You are the only genshin theory crafter I can trust to be both very honest and very fair to the characters. You are not down playing or hyping them up. You are telling us both their downside and their upsides without it feeling like you're insulting both the character and the people that like them. You tell it without hesitation whether a certain thing in the game is shit or not, no mincing words. And your guides are so helpful. Thank you for making content for this game ❤

Her pre-c2 still kinda has awkward skill uptime, which imo feels bad to use in some team.
Obviously she's usable, but other than her appearance, it's still hard to justify her slot pre-c2.

1 thing to say is extremely specific in this abyss is that lecturer + dendro balls combo forces you to run dehya( talking about the on field team ofc) cause any other pyro dps there just dies from the burn and lecturer damage
which is what dehya was designed for in the first place whenever there is an composition of enemy that easily and cosistently does high damage dehya's 50% dmg redution will be better than anything
but apart from few exception there arent any for now so yeah
I just wish that Dehya's skill lasts like around 17-20 seconds so that at the least I can have a reason to use her in a comfortable way...
I have her at lvl 40 atm.. still contemplating if I should invest time and materials for her..
I've been playing a lot of Wriothesley, Baizhu, Dahya, Kazuha lately, and it's lots of fun.
You get Baizhu's burst providing interrupt resistance and repeated off-field dendro application, that works well with Dehya's off-field pyro for lots of burning.
As long as you start with a little bit of Wrio's cryo application before swirling it all over the place, you get a decent amount of melt once Dehya drops her circle, which triggers burning when Baizhu does his thing (and if you give him TTDS he boosts Wrio's ATK too).
The amount of copium I inhaled to actually watch this video is insane.

I wish they would have made Dehya apply a special type of Burning the way they made Nilou apply a special type of Bloom that would increase it's damage.

if only, that would be cool cuz Dehya number is so sht. Against multiple opponent Nilou bloom is just absolutely bonker that even against single target Nilou can ez destroy enemies while Dehya suffering from barely clearing stages in time with ton of investment
2 months later, and we are getting something for burning, but through an artifact set (leaked as of now). It's said to amplify EM of the team when burning is triggered and increase EM by even more if attacking a burning enemy, so looks like it's most valuable for either Nahida or Dehya, but even Nahida sticks with Deepwood.
Thanks for the video! I've been wondering what I'll do with my Dehya since I lost my 50/50 to her on the Furina banner. This video gave me some ideas as to where she can be useful.
Even if my Eula hit 3~10k per hit with just her auto compared to my Dehya 3k with her burst.
I still loved her.
That being said I recognize her little low number, I wish they would make an artifacts set that fixed her or something. Because no way in hell she got Zhongli treatment...
thoma especially blows dehya away with wriothesley if you have c6 thoma. which is somewhat probable considering he's been around a while and was on wriothesleys banner.
Well Thoma needs to be at C6 to be better, plus he is more difficult to farm artifacts for. Need both ER and HP.
What Dehya helps with is repurposing burning to let Wriothesley fall below 60% even if just an initial second to get the gracious Rebuke state for a free CA.
Been using Dehya in abyss 12 with Furina, Jean, Mona. Worked surprisingly good.
Been using her with furina and I get surprised with how well it works. I even 36 started with her one day when I was just trying it, and my furina wasn't fully built yet. Been a pretty fun for me recently
I’ve been playing dehya/furina/jean/nahida like 90% of the time since furina came out, it’s been a lot of fun. Also helps that I got her to C1R1 after losing the 50/50 on furina the first time. Her tanking helps stack fanfare and mitigate life drain a bit, and she’s out here punching for 25k with buffs while also doing decent burgeon and burning damage to everything on the screen. Dehya Superman punching to explode a bunch of blooms is tons of fun.
I must try this! I happened to get C2 - she's lvl 90 but only talent 6's and a mixed build of HP (41k), pyro dmg and Favonius for ER (I just use her in overworld) - I'll have to rebuild her for EM so how much HP & EM would be good for this kind of team?
@@trashbuilds8351 It's highly recommended! I don't even have her fully EM, only about 200 or so, but with nahida buffs it still does decent damage. And since I'm using every part of her kit, having an all-round build doesn't really hurt too much.
yea id say this is one of the best Dehya team we have rn, imho change Jean into Kokmi for more bloom seed+easier shield breaking cuz Furina hydro apli is poor but Jean give more buff and allow Furina to Vape 100% of the time so it work I guess. I did this but with Diluc and Klee instead cuz no Dehya

@@zeromailss true, kokomi might work better but I'm just enjoying the chance to use Jean again, and her instant healing with minimal field time is really nice here, along with VV shred.

I‘m having a blast with a new Wriothesley team since I loose a 50/50 to Dehya: Wrio melt featuring PNEUMA Furina.
Wrio (C1): Marachausse hunter
Nahida: Gilded dreams full EM (and around 180ER)
Furina: Noblesse full ER + Fav
Dehya: Tenacity full EM
Rotation goes: Nahida EQ-Furina CA (to go pneuma) EQ (gotta catch Fav particles since she wont produce hydro particles) -Dehya EE-Wrio 4NA5CA (needs to be C1) and repeat.
You will gain enough Fanfare stacks from Wrio healing, Furina teamwide healing from passive and Pneuma healing, and Dehya passive healing as well as the autodamage from burning! (Wich will be quite big since Nahida and dehya are full EM) So youll have a Wrio melting team with furina in it! It actually works, give it a try

It‘s a fun team, the annoying part is getting enough ER in Furina and Nahida, other than that its really easy to play and those big melt hits and the corrosion (burning) add a good visual
Back in 3.X, I used to play her (Sac sword, Tenacity 4x) with Ganyu, Nahida, Bennet (300+ ER). My Ganyu would casually do 100k -120k per CA

Dude ive been usuing her since day one. Hah. My teams been wanderer, dehya, kokomi, and nahida for a while now. Would reccomend. Her skills activation works well with burgeon which with this team activates all well wanderer deals even more damage and gives atk boosts cuz pyro. Shes also helpful with exploration so. I never even use any bursts lol. Her c2 also makes unlimited dehya skill not to mention mine has 60k hp lol. Shes a decent pyro support man
The only issue with dehya is that people refuse to play her the way she was designed. People seem insistent on forcing her into a mono pyro/vape burst dps when shes an off/on-field pyro sup dps/support that should be played with dendro. Its like watching people build ATK albedo as a burst dps and crying about the damage.

Bro I was just searching for Dehya + Furina videos yesterday to find a good guide, you read my mind! 😅 I would love to see some calcs for weapons and switching around teammates a bit. For now I guess I can try her with Furina, Bennett, Kazuha, but it kinda sucks using the 3 best buffers in the game on one side lol. I guess I still have dendro for the other side. Mailed flower is an interesting idea, right now I have her on Wolves' Gravestone for drip (and I don't use Bennett with her). With Bennett WG is definitely going to oversaturate ATK, and since I have very little EM on her artifacts Mailed Flower might actually be a fair bit stronger.

I have a big question bro i maxed my yanfie as a shield she is 32k and 260 energy with thrilling tales [ 20% energy for all artifacts+ energy sands ] soo would she provide more support buffs to scara and xiao it's like comparing 70% attack to 20% defense shred

Im utilizing her with wanderer faruzan and bennett, shes a great tenacity and wgs holder while making my wanderer invincible for a certain amount of time
sounds like a decent team but the only reason you use her instead of ZHongli in that team is if you lose 50/50 to her and don't have Zhongli, hyper carry wanderer+Zhongli is just so much better
@@zeromailssits not. Specially bcs zl makes no energy for the team and bennet and faruzan both need a ton of it. If u rly want to compare shielders for wanderer. Thoma would be better as he gives the same things dehya does, particles for bennet, good IR, pyro resonance and if hes c6 buffing
@@zeromailss you prolly dont have Dehya that's why you didnt know the invincibility she gives and youre riding zhongli's meat in every team you have. I have zhongli dude and i didnt lose on Dehya on 50/50, i got her from standard banner.
@@whitemoth4339 this is true but i tried c6 thoma and his shield is weaker compare to zhongli, Dehya is better for this imo because thoma doesnt provide anything other than his c6 buff and he needs lots of ER since his burst cost is 80
I use Dehya for Burgeon along with Furina, Nahida, and Kokomi. I'm not saying it's the best team for her, but it's the most fun for me. I even managed to clear the first half of the current Abyss with this team too.
All I have to say about Dehya's release is I'm never hoarding all my primogems for 1 character ever again lol. I had to break from the game for a bit after seeing how mediocre she was on release. She's okish now imo but i wish i pulled other characters too and pulled 1 Dehya.
it also functions similarly (but to a worse extent) of a pyro shogun skill. coordinated pyro attacks (they could be a little more frequent but whatever) so shes a decent off field pyro applicator.
i have a similar team as the neuvillette team but for ayato with kazuha/nahida/bennett, and it kind of just highlights that dehya has stiffer competition in ATK%-based teams since you already need kazuha to have enough pyro

I got 2 dehya when pulling furina so my team now c0 nuvi c2 furina c1 dehya and c4 Charlotte its nice to see dehya skill proc vape and melt
Since this guide I did revisit Dehya in Kuki, Yelan, and Nahida team to do a Hyperburgeon and it is pretty fun to play and I feel like Dehya is doing work in an efficiency kind of way utilizing extra blooms so we got hyperbloom and burgeon going out at the same time! Using Rainslasher on her with 4 piece guilded dreams set and ya know as Todd Howard says “It just works”
Edit: but is it better than just slapping a Kazuha for grouping in Dehya’s slot? Probably not 😂🎉
why would you use yelan over furina in the hydro slot? unless you just like yelan more.
I recently pulled C1 Dehya and final build her with emblem and wgs. And then kind of half seriously took Furina C2, Dehya C1 R1 wgs, Nilou C0R1 Key, Jean C4 to first part of current floor 12. The team actually managed to get 9* somehow 😅.

I enjoy using Deyha, Furina, Zhongli and Ei team... Granted Furina and Ei carry. BUT she is on the field most of the time and its very strong with vaporize and Overload.
would someone like klee or yanfei be a better option than benny or sucrose for kazuha as you can throw prototype amber on them to get that 6% every 2s for 6 seconds (18% total) party wide healing as well as furina can heal 2% hp a sec if you get overhealed (not sure if benny can trigger that effect or dehyas passive healing) but this would trigger furinas fanfare faster than benny alone giving dehya more uptime on furinas burst. someone like sucrose could also keep consistant hydro application maybe just not as well as kazu

Do you think chevrous will help Dehya. I wonder if it will be viable to run a split carry burst DPS like play style as raiden also buffs burst damage. The team looks promising in bossing content. I feel like you might finally be able to ditch ERR Sands on dehya.

Talking about the last ''Vape Team'' with Furina.
Okay alternative but not really great on vape Dehya. Her ICD is so bad, it can only vape 3-4 burst hits and Furina might trigger reverse vape as well ruining the rainslasher's passive. Mailed Flower gives higher base ATK, EM (sub and passive) + ATK bonus and can be proc easily.

I really like Dehya with WGS and her Signature Artifact set, makes her do some solid Sub-DPS Damage. Furina makes her solid as a main DPS too.
This was a lot of ways to say Dehya's still in the same position as before: usable, but there's always better options.
As a Dehya main I appreciate you building any sort of case for her use though!

The damage is lower then rainslasher but better then mailed flower at least when I optimize ot with my arts for the vap team. You also get the er which makes it better. All that assumes that you get the 3 stacks on it and trigger it at the right time, that wont work for my usual rotatin and can judege if or how much u lose changing it to fit.

What Dehya has over Xiangling in Neuvillette teams is that you don't need to be in melee range, and hence you don't need C1 or a shielder.
I love playing dehya tho personally I play her with neuvillette main dps raidan shogun and nahida.
I would love it if she had a place in any of my teams but the reality is that if you have any decent 5* comp she falls straight to the bench. Meybe good for players that started around fontaine release but no one else.
I love Dehya for the overworld, she is a great core with Bennett for Lyney or Wriothesley, giving both comfort and pyro on the side. And a claymore for mining ore. And passive self heal for underwater encounters 🥰 Took her into abyss in the same tank/support role and it was absolutely fine, but I have never seen her as an onfielder, the burst is too clunky and too expensive
I use her burst with Ayato. His burst is like 18 seconds. So you can Burst +skill Ayato in Dehya's skill and swap to Dehya's burst while Ayato's burst is still up and you will get vapes on Dehya. You can still swap back to Ayato and get more of his skill in his burst window. I was using Bennett, Dehya, Fischl, Ayato and it's great in the overworld and I clear floor 12 pretty easily.
Gonna wait till I have at least C1 if not C2. Than I am gonna build her.

You missed the best Dehya teamate: Ganyu - Really great numer pershot, most boss take only 2-3 shots. Dehya and Nahia has high EM so the Burn damage is really good too.
I also use her with HyperBoom team (Kuki, and Xingqiu as Xingqiu has higher Hydro application) - this team is really comfy to play. The slow speed of Kuki's ring actually working good with Dehya slow Fire proc.
I think that any new Cryo that want to Melt going to work with her really well!

Instead of bringing Kazuha to the Fwd Vape Neuvillette team, I would recommend C4 Layla. Theoretical damage would be a bit lower but it's way easier to get and maintain Neuvillete stacks.
Because Nahida's Dendro app is too overwhelming to ensure an underlying Hydro Aura. Meaning 8s after swirling, you're cooked. So running Paradise Lost on Dehya instead of Instructor means big Burgeons whenever Neuvillette isn't Vaping.
you can also try switching out Kazuha and put in Lynette in Dehya Neuvilette vape team
Kazuha's damage amplification is too short for Neuvilette to use after a lengthy setup, and his ultimate last shorter compare to Lynette's. Lynette lets Neuvilette vape more for the cost of Neuvilette lossing ~2-3 seconds of kazuha's buff.

Keep in mind that when you are using Dehya with Bennet, Kazuha and Furina, the dmg output most of the time is not from vape but dmg buff. If you really want her to actually vape, use 2 hydro in the team will be better option (Furina/Nilou, Furina/Mona)
Personally I've had the most success with Amber for Lyney. And that's even compared to c6 Xiangling. I clear the abyss just faster with Amber. Probably because I don't have to waste time funneling Amber. I think the DPS is highest with Amber after multiple rotations and the taunt is helpful enough that I don't find myself wanting for zhongli or dehya or similar. Maybe Xiangling is better in theory but I find Amber to be so much more practical. Much easier for all of her burst to hit than Xiangling while also being much easier to maintain Lyney's fieldtime with the extra taunt and also a 15s rotation instead of 20+.
i like using Dehya on furina team, i use this team on spiral abyss and i had fun

My favorite still remains Dehya, Kuki, Nahida, and Fischl. It is just nicely plays into her strengths and around her weaknesses, rather than trying to force her to be something she's not while also wanting her to stay inside a tiny little circle with her non-snapshotting burst. Anyone who has played Dehya a bit knows that when she feels that that guy way over there needs punching, she's going to go over there and do just that. Plus I just love ignoring what enemies do. Not even the Dancers in the current Abyss can make me move away to avoid damage. Nope, I'm staying right here, swinging away. And this team also benefits from Fontaine, with Fischl's new artifact set.
And that bit about Dehya not liking Circle Impact? That's another reason Furina is good with her. She doesn't try to tie Dehya down.
Personally, not a fan of Vorukasha, because there are just too many situations where you don't get hit for extended periods of time. It's just such a poorly conceived set.
Interesting, I haven't tried this and since I have Fischl built for Neuvi this way anyway, might as well try it!
For Dehya carry, what abt Furina/Mona instead of Furina Kazuha? You worry less abt vaping and Mona can carry prototype amber for fanfare, Favge, or Thrilling tales (although, idk how you’d make a thrilling tales rotation lol).

Her defensive utility is significant in heavy-hitting Abysses (like all we had so far in Fontaine) and the only other pyro on-fielder who have any kind of defensive capabilities is C4 Yanfei, except her shield isn't as good as what Dehya provides. On the other hand, Lyney (and to lesser extent Hu Tao) actively decreases survivability to a point where most people would run a shielder (or Dehya) in addition to Bennett, so I don't really see an upside to running better damage dealer over Dehya if that comes with swapping off-field dps for a shield bot.
From what I see, her biggest issue is that her personal damage is straight up bad at C0, and then gets massive upgrades with constellations. I have her at C3R1 and compared to C0 footage I see damage almost doubles, which is generally much bigger just compared to most other characters. And since she's standard banner characters, there's no guarantee that you'll ever get her cons.

Wrio + Shenhe + Dehya + Bennett
I run Wrio and Dehya as dual carry dps
Drop Shenhe burst before Dehya burst to let her melt
Drop Dehya skill and Shenhe skill before Wrio to melt
Bennett burst I use on whoever is ready
Dehya was top tier in my account since release even as c0 she wasn't a perfect character since there no such character so far but she had insane value when you use her in the role she was made for but genshintards for some reason cant comprehend that every character have hes own role and not everyone can be used as a main dps
For the vape Furina team. Using other pyro options is often impractical due to the HP difference. 70% of Dehya's hp is 21k. 70% of Diluc, Yoimiya or Klee's hp is barely over 12k. Inside a bennet circle it's very possible for them to die from over 70% hp. See 12-3-2
And 70% of DPS Yanfei's HP... uh... I'm not sure it's even 5 digits.
yea but that just make it easier to 100% heal with bennett for Furina passive to proc, the only hard hitting abyss is 12-3-2 anyway but you usually have a lot of time to clear it as long as you are careful but yea, Dehya has the advantage in that stage
Well it's good to know that Dehya works with Lyney. Now I just need to confirm that I can put Raiden on the team without interfering too much with Lyney's pyro aura snipping and my Chevreuse team will be complete!
Well, I think you made it pretty clear it's not worth spending my resin on her instead of most other units in the game.
Sad, she is pretty but still bad.
Tenacity is an ATK and shield strength buffing set so neither Neuvilette nor Furina can benefit from it and it doesn't improve Dehya's "not shield" protection.
Hey! She is good in Dragonspine and Fontaine underwater at least (because of her passive ability)
And the Inazuma electric charge water or whatever it is lol - I started playing Genshin around when Dehya came out so I was able to do all of Dragonspine without ever needing to watch my health lol it was awesome

I've incorporated Dehya to by 36* abyss teams by relying on her defensive and off-field playstyle rather than her burst. She mitigates damage and pairs well with Furina and healers better than the shielders.
