As a Dad of 4 trying to join the Catholic Church right now I really love seeing the friendship that is talked about here. I'm looking to make friends with other families at my church and this gives me hope.

Doc Swaff is easily the best professor I’ve ever had. Currently a student at BC and he (and his wife when I see her) are some of the most amazing people I know! I am so blessed to know and learn from them!!

That is a good analogy with Jesus and Jiu Jitsu. I enjoyed your 'Romans' and 'What We Believe' Ascension programs very much. I think it would be nice to hear more about deification. Dr. Swafford has explained it better than any Roman Catholic that I have personally heard. It is easy to forget the main point of Christianity and get lost in the minutiae - He came to make us partakers of the divine nature, and that surpasses anything on offer from mere humans, like ourselves. Thank you for this conversation, I appreciate it, Swaff, Sarah, and Jackie and Bobby. God bless!😄

Wonderful episode. It's really inspiring with practical advice (invite people over, make new friends, etc.) Looking forward for the Swaffords in future episodes!

How do you find community in the church in your 40's when you are still single and everything is geared to young or old in your parish. I feel like meeting and dating in my 40's is super hard.
Love your TH-cam's y'all are my favorites.

I realize that their relationship is none of my business...but when you put yourself on a public platform, you have to expect criticism (especially when your videos are monetized), so I'm going to comment:
Sarah needs to stop interrupting Andy. She gives *major* "pick me" energy when it comes to other males. I've watched several of her talks, and even somewhere in this talk she makes a comment of "bless his heart" regarding a teenage boy who's asking her why he should be friends with any female who's not going to have sex with him. You are talking about a *predator* - that is not the place for a "bless his heart" response. I'm sorry, but I was SA'd in college, it was weak women like this who enabled the wolves-in-sheep's clothing who got away with crap they should have been imprisoned for. They were _enabled_ by "pick me" women like Sarah. I'm not saying she's the worst "pick me" woman out there, but she's definitely giving out some of those vibes, and it bothers me a lot.
