    Looks like a beautiful trip, i can imagine the celica eating those corners on those curvy mountain roads with ease :)

    God do i love this car, absolute dream car and im hoping i catch a nice one when i get my licence. Id love to restore it like you did but i just dont think id be able to do it right, probably make enough mistakes to ruin the car more. Great videos with the celica keep it up, and if you dont mind writing me a some bad sides to the car, and good ones ofc lol. Thanks!

      I wish you will find your dream car and don't be afraid to work on it ;) there's literally nothing that a man can't fix ✌️ I don't know any bad sides of the car.. I just wish I had 4wd and turboed engine but I enjoyed mine even without all of that. It's reliable (if manual transmission), not complicated to work on, roomy, comfortable even for long distances.

    Did your Celica have Oil consumption issues ? and if so how did you fix it

    • @NickyChicks

      Mine was ok, but if you are sure that it doesn't leak anywhere and all your seals (especially the seals on the valves!!) are ok, than I would say it's the piston rings that got stuck and don't take off the excessive oil from cylinder walls

    • @CrazyKraut20
      @CrazyKraut20 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NickyChicks ye im pretty sure its the piston rings, though the oil consumption isn't that excessive (1L/1000km) it's still an issue for long trips caus ive got to keep track of the engine oil level. Also ive read that changing the piston rings wouldnt be enough, id also have to change the pistons to slightly oversized ones and do some honing of the cylinder walls, which would be as expensive as getting an entirely new engine ^^

      @@CrazyKraut20 if the cylinder walls are still fine (no scratches or mirror like surface) there's no need to borr it and replace the pistons. I actually replaced piston rings on one of my other cars and didn't have any problems after
