This outstanding video was made by COTU (Kathy). You can catch her on all of our TH-cam Camera chats, but mostly in Ashland, VA. Thanks COTU for the dedication and time it took to make this wonderful video of Virtual Railfan, Bravo!
I once saw those same kind of green fuselages on a train going through Billings, Mt back in 2009...I've never seen them since until now, how cool is that. :) I'm sure a lot of people have seen them I just thought it was really neat (something I've never seen before) :) I'm glad I found this channel, I've seen so many neat things! :)
I'm so proud of you VR guys for you outstanding achievements. It's Very intriguing, epic emotional as well. Got me crying as I put this up. Even it's this year 2021. This is one the most beautiful trains I've ever see in my life. Big Boy is the showstopper. People just having a ball. It's really sad that we're under a dictatorship. But got to keep on working, and doing what you have to do. I'm so proud of being a subscriber.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE......Found you in 2019 and have been loving every minute I can watch. Looking forward to More exciting/strange/interesting things in 2020. Thank you so much for this Channel.
ever since you guys put the camera in chehalis WA a lot a railfans like me in the area started watching you and that cam for what trains are coming through or went through the areas near there like me and another kid will meet at Vancouver WA and he'll look at your cameras to see what's coming down to us
Outstanding coverage. I definatly loved seeing them Duke boys jump that track in Laplata, which btw....had the pleasure of visiting and meeting Bob. Great vid.
“Well, yes, we’ve had first Horseshoe Curve derailment. But what about second Horseshoe Curve derailment?” Wild year, thanks for the consistent uploads!
So many incredible things caught on your live cameras in 2019! Both with the trains, and the people and cars who stopped by! I'm quite surprised so many active non-preserved cabooses, especially those at the very end of the train, were caught on camera in 2019
At 24:00 someone literally, as in actually literally, gets kicked off the train; "Kicked off", "Booted off", aren't just sayings, it really does happen. And that's the first time I've seen it happen literally.

That just about sums up what Virtual Railfan is all about. No words to express. Brilliantly nostalgic!
As a resident of central Missouri I sure enjoyed all the La Plata, Kansas City, and Santa Fe Junction clips. :)
I am thankful that you group these great bits all together for those of us that don't watch all day long. Love the captures!

Australian Units
Wish they’d had this tech back in the 50s and 60s when I was a kid. Lived nowhere near a rr. But loved trains.
Now live near Lagrange Kentucky a few miles south. Hear trains day and night when they pick up speed outside of town.
Hard Work 🙏🏻
