Wrestling has been destroyed by the refs and new rules. They want to speed up the action so to do that, blow their whistle and give warnings, accomplishing the exact opposite. Then they have a shot clock to encourage action but the opposing wrester just has to stall for 30-seconds to get the point. The sport has become unwatchable, absolutely ridiculous.
I like the way they make these passivity calls with no rhyme nor reason early on, then towards the end they allow blatant stalling. When I say like, I mean dislike, because it's really stupid.
If there's one thing I've noticed about Zain when he wrestles, is if somebody lands a good shot on him, he literally spasses out!! In the finals this year, it looked like he did or just about did, kick the Lockhaven wrestler right in the damn face, and I've seen him do it several times, swing elbows....it's like he freaks out. That's something he needs control.
Wow classic throw... sometimes.. with the belly to back throw.. you don't maintain c9ntrol though the full motion... basically what happen!! Old school move zain could of bailed out!!! Got caught holding on!! Many great matches to come believe that!! Go usa wrestling!!!
They have destroyed the sport omg. If I had hair I would pull it out. The ref stays so busy, doesn't like Oliver low position. No coming back to the center to wrestle. It's garbage now. It really is..
Wasn't a bad call, it's a new rule. Jordan Oliver initiated a near throw that made Retherford fly through air and lose position, it counts as 2 points and the back doesn't need to be exposed. They have also gotten more strict on locking fingers and hands to the face to where they usually call it after it happening 2 times but will sometimes call it after the first. By new rule definition, Oliver won
Cahmon Holder yeah it was dumbass it was a bad call it wasn’t even a proper flip his back didn’t even touch the mat. You obviously don’t know anything about wrestling
SO this is a new rule correct? Pami got the points against Nolf. Interesting to me they were both exposure calls when there was no exposure. Other thing that is interesting to me is that they were both Judo throws. Oliver executed a poor Tomo Nage and Pami a half Seoi Nage
These guys have limited hand fighting skills... imagine if they went from elbow control to snapping down on the head and popping through the shoulders until they found an opening..
When the ref wins the match for you.
first team all-ref
I'm a Oliver fan but those were pure garbage calls. Hand to the face??? and that didn't look like exposure.
Marcus Mayeda He stuck both fingers in his eyes.. You can clearly see from another angle.
Bruh that for sure wasnt exposure
Arrogant ref over reffing the match. Let ‘em wrestle and stay as inconsequential as possible.

You could not have said it any better. You are exactly right. Jeeeeeeeeeeez this match was trash.
Nice
Zain clearly whooped his ass
It's Respwans really? Only thing I seen him do was stall...
Bullshit caution call

bad officiating makes me hate freestyle, everything seems so arbitrary. 2 points for hands to face? you can call that every match!!!
Jeffery Lord ikr he’s posting there’s like nothing wrong with that
The fact that Brett Metcalf is number one in this weight class shows this generations ability to be quick witted has diminished immensely...
My question is...what did bader say about Oliver??
USA👋👍
What happened to front heads to a single or cross ankle?
Wow classic throw... sometimes.. with the belly to back throw.. you don't maintain c9ntrol though the full motion... basically what happen!! Old school move zain could of bailed out!!! Got caught holding on!! Many great matches to come believe that!! Go usa wrestling!!!
sure still wasn't an exposure though
Granted, he did warn Zain a few times about hands to the face. But exposure? Really?? Come on.
It always amazes me how all these athletes struggle to beat zain. But Aaron pick beats him easily

Cahmon Holder Oliver didn’t win he got lucky because of that particular ref
Cahmon Holder enough said you don’t know what your talking about
Someone going to get a serious eye injury, just a matter of time
I'm a fan of both of them but I think it was kinda obvious zain won
Wow that was bs that ref just really hurt a career I would contest to the fullest
What even are the rules anymore. Almost seems like they make this shit up as they go along
One of the worst rip jobs in recent memory. Do they even know what exposure means?
@9:23 LOL

Wtf was the hands to the face call??!! Is this cheerleading or wrestling??
Retherford got hosed
No exposure
I need to leave before I get more pissed off
im a fan of JO but retherford didnt get exposed wtf
2 pts. for the spinning kick throw??? Er something like that??
Both of those calls were Garbage
These guys have limited hand fighting skills... imagine if they went from elbow control to snapping down on the head and popping through the shoulders until they found an opening..
Singles, doubles , duck unders, lat drops and front heads off of it...
Zain won that
Hands in the face???? BS! At the most it should be Zain 3 Jordan 2.
Hands to the face was still a better call than the exposure
Horrible! Oliver had 5 unearned points...
Worst call ever
zain is a buzzsaw jheeez
Robbery
Zain didn't do anything but stall the whole match.
ref warned him and that was exposure upside down exposure
John Fennelly he didn't have control it was a scramble
Bs
