He was an intensely private person. If you Google Nadeem paracha -Aziz Mian and Dawn. You would get some material. It was also general’s ZIA MARSHALL LAW TIME and he banned his famous qawalli from TV as well as in public owing to his respective sharabi, sharabi. He was an extremely polite, civilized human being, very colorful personality. I was a college student at that time, and left Pakistan for USA. My son who is born in USA and had no practical knowledge of Urdu is mesmerized by this unique way of singing. May Allah bless his soul. Interestingly, that was the golden period of qawwali.
