But the S20 price isn't worth it. They focus all on camera. Instead of performance. Could you imagine if the S20 was based on performance and not camera? Then it would be worth it. Why would I want such a camera on a smartphone. The only reason anyone would want such a camera is, they probably take selfie's like a Bad B***h. For that price they could have overclocked the CPU. 3 .25 or 3.50hz increased Gpu. 20gb ram. Then it would really be the king. For me Red magic 16gb ram version would beat an S20 ultra.
I really appreciate that he went through all the settings. So many reviewers just say all the stuff we already know, but this gave me a much better idea of how it'll be like to use it. Even just seeing inside the RGB customisation screen is more than most people have done.
Powerful phone that plays games really well:- "mmm not really that interested". Snapdragon 865, killer specs, no ugly hole punch/ notches on the screen with a 144hz refresh rate and sells cheaper than pretty much every flagship on the market "Yeah Baby!!"
I have the Red Magic 3 and its one of my favourite phones. Its a really good gaming experience and the camera takes really good pictures considering the phone. My only concern is that the security patch updates are rare (mine was last done in August 2019) and the customer support only advises to "keep an eye out for the next update." However, still a great phone with a unique gaming experience so if youre okay with late updates, go for it! Its a cool device! 🤓

@@dreamchaser1870 nah, it hasnt happened. The phone is dust and water resistant, so a little splash of water or dust wont likely harm it. Its just not IP68 like most flagship phones.

This is the perfect phone hands down. I have the "Pulse" and it is so fast and buttery smooth you can't believe the price. The best thing is the graphics and the charging speed. The sound is great but I'm looking for a good EQ. The photos are not bad but you need to know some photography basics to take the best pics. Software updates could improve the quality. The hardware is there. Great phone for the price you pay.
Looking at the charger plug style and UI it seems you have the European model and not the Chinese one. May I ask how did you get this ? EU sale will go live in April 14. Also, do you experience screen quality issues ? RM 3 and 3S had some issues with the AMOLED panel and many panels had uniformity issues when only white was displayed (gray spots or lines were visible if brightness was or under 50% when white was displayed). Oh and last but not least does it support Widevine L1 for watching Netflix hd and amazon prime hd or it only has L3 like previous RM phones so watching hd content is not possible ?
Yeah, because it's a gaming phone it's given that it is very good at playing games (like it has shoulder buttons, high refresh rate, cooling fan, etc.) I just hope it has decent camera. but I'm not expecting that it will shoot better than most of the camera phones out there. like a saw a Chinese videos that it has like an eis

I'm scared to get the red magic 5g because I've heard a lot of bad things about Nubia software. Last question, and the one I'm most interested in, there was a feature they talked about on launch day called touch choreographer, I think it adds frames between frames in lower framerate games? They have made a lot of progress on smartphone technology and why they dont bring DVB T-T2 television intergrated in smartphones ? I am one of the small number of owners of DVB T television smartphone its an old android called Kazam with intergrated tunner , that might be obsolete because of the T2 system.
Is the red magic in writing logo in the back supposed to stay on at all time? Mine only comes on when sound is on or Im charging or a few other things but when the phones just on regular apps or doing nothing it's off and only the bottom logo is on?

Never mind I watch the touch button configuration, I WILL NOT BE UPGRADING from my Red Magic 3s 12GB ram. The third button on the back is something I've grown quite fond of and for them to take that away or ridiculous. They could have hidden it under the blinking symbol....
can it display fps and temp in real time? and when you enabled the max performance mode will it overclock the cpu and gpu from base 587mhz gpu and 2.8ghz cpu to higher C speeds?
Can't overclock cpu from sd855 and above, can overclock gpu with a custom kernel but overclocking is pointless, it's plenty powerful enough and you'll barely notice a difference day to day except massive battery drain
@@NumberonesorabjifanTrust me, 128gb is a joke & 256 can fill up quite quickly - I use a 512gb microSD & I've already used 300gb after about 8months. Anyway, it is more about the convenience of instantly importing data from my older phone to the newer one. I don't intend to pay monthly/annually for cloud storage & my data connection is not even good enough for me to rely on the cloud.

It was quite the letdown to see the max set to 256... 512 should be the minimum max for a gaming phone in 2020 especially if it doesn't include expandable storage ._. It's an excellent phone and it might be my next, but it feels like each one I eye falls a bit short in just one way or another. I'll probably wait on the Lenovo and ROG offerings before I decide.
The UI looks like MIUI 11. But kudos to Nubia, Red Magic 5G has the sexiest back design I've seen on any smartphone to date. But the transparent edition looks dope.

Im very disappointed with the new 5g device THEY REMOVED the back FINGER PRINT sensor as i used it as a third trigger i have the red magic 3s and so far its really good the only annoying issue is the placement of the lock-screen button so close to the volume keys so i always unintentionally lock it when changing volume Besides that its perfect
