As a science writer, I must admit that I have had some serious reservations about astrology's place even within "esoteric science". I studied astrology as a grumbling skeptic for 10 years (weird how I was willing to do that) until I noticed that my familiarity with the system had opened up a different more subtle way of seeing/hearing into people. In fact, using the Edgar Cayce model on predictions (and he gave many accurate ones) the baleful ones are given as warnings (for change) not predestined, cemented in stone or as a "fait accompli." But it also means that the collective can fall asleep and continue on a track of probability or seeming inevitability. Depending upon your view, that may be the case regarding the American election, despite the many warnings that had been issued beforehand.
