it's all different things they're good at. glam&gore focuses more on the 'makeup' side of things and applying latex etc etc straight to the face, but this channel is more about making and using prosthetics. personally, i prefer glam&gore for mykies personality and bubbly-ness, but this channel has a huge range of tutorials
saved the best cenobite for last... I sculpted and cast a chatterer mask and costume awhile back, always been a favorite of mine....but for reference for anyone doing a back to this make up.. chatterer has a gory split in the back of his head, with 8 more hooks, the wires connect to them, and hook into that spot on the back... nice work Elli

I was watching a horror makeup artist a couple years back who also wore regular makeup underneath and during a q and a she was asked that question. She said having regular makeup on creates a barrier and helps protect her skin from being ruined by the latex, etc. Idk how true that is but yeah
Neche Pacheco it’s kind of counter productive because it means the latex can slip off more easily. You can buy professional products to protect the skin which would work better

It's fairly easy to remove. The parts stay pretty intact. We've re-used the teeth parts for more makeups as well.

usually the paints used in makeup are alcohol based or sort of a watercolour type. :)
they're grease/oil based paints designed for skin use.
