American liberty head dime also known as a Mercury dime. probably related to World War 2 soldier. Good catch there, but yes pretty common here in USA.
Thanks Kydo much apppreciated! Hope all well
I’ve been watch in the quarter hoarder far too much
😂
I was like, hey! that’s a mercury dime!
Nice!
😊

I love your channel and I don't understand why you don't have more subscribers because I watch another metal detector channel and he has 40, 000 subscribers but I enjoy your station much more. I love your enthusiasm and you have so much knowledge. I enjoy viewing all the different artifacts that you find also. Thank you!
Thank you Adele that's very kind of you and hope all well!!!! All the Best, Alexander
Hi Alexander and Tasci 🐕 What a wonderful selection of finds you had there, well done you! Those buckles are a real treat, and that dogs head spout is a joy to behold, I'd love to find one of those. I look forward to your next video, I want to hear about the Roman seal box lid. Thanks for another great video, I always look forward to seeing them 👍. Cheers!
Thanks Chops! I will finish off the seal lid in the next one it's a lovely one! Hope all well and nice to hear from you!
The spout was neat and so was the box lid!
The little table you are filming your temporary headquarters at......I love it .....simple and rustic......it looks so neat.
Hope you are well!!
Cool that isnt it Tim, its a bit Arts and Crafts and a bit gothic ... the type of furniture I really like! Are you well? Hope so!
2024 has been a smasher for you so far! I’ve only been out twice this year lmao, been too busy, but I can drive now so will be going out more
Good stuff Alprini stay safe!

As soon as I got a notification that your new video had been posted, I dropped what I was doing, made a cuppa and sat down. Best wishes to your son and the rest of the family.
Thanks Chris thats very good of you! And hope all well! All the Best, Alexander
Super hunt Alex! I've missed seeing your vids!! Congrats Sir on some finds very few ever find!!!! I've said it for along time now but you and The Scottish Detectorist have U-Tube locked up!!! Congrats again Alex and can't wait for the next!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
he's got about 50,000 more subscribers than me though Ray!!!! Hope all well over there!
Jeez Louise! More incredible finds, particularly loved the dog spout, amazing design almost art nouveau I thought....! Brilliant 👏
It is a bit art nouveau isn't it John? In fact it's so crisp I really did think it was probably 17th century or later… Hope all well with you. Thank you for watching all the best, Alexander
You live in a area wotha astounding year range. People dont understand. Its entirely possible to find both early and late items. As always great array of lovely finds.
Thanks Don - still waiting on that gold coin.... 😁
Hello from America, and that was a mercury head dime that you found that is 90% silver.
You recently commented on a 3rd century Roman coun that was found in a farm field in America by the TH-cam channel QuarterHoarder. I am a Huge fan of your channel and his channel, and he does a live show every other week and talks about the finds from the previous videos. He has been talking about having guests on, and it would be great to see you on there. I'm just a fan, so I can't get you in touch with him directly. However, he does have an email address on his channel
Thank you, and keep up the good work.
Don't listen to the haters. There are just jealous
Roger that's a very nice idea thank you I will try and get in touch! Hope all well over there and thank you for watching! All the Best, Alexander
Eley 12 gauge pinfire shell gastight I think is what I saw on shell piece you found. Eley company out of London. Pinfire shotgun shells patents 1835 Lefaucheux, another patent 1850. Very expensive items. Very unusual finds with buckles etc. Cheers from Florida
Fabulous knowledge, Michele, thank you very much for that - good work! And hope all well with you over there... it's feeling a bit more Spring-like here suddenly! All the best, Alexander
Another comment 😂 I do watch some others just to help me with settings etc but I always finish on watching you every evening 👍🏻
Thank you all the very best
Les
Thanks Les!!!!
Hi mate. Good to see you finding some stuff we haven't seen before.
Can I say I watch Taski as you know and noticed he was licking his upper leg. (I know I'm dog nerd) this is actually a thing as mine did it. Can be sign of anxiety regardless of how well we look after them or a bite or allergy. Anyway simple tip is a human anti histamine 1 a day for few days or alow Vera (pardon spelling just in from work) soothes it if a bite. Hope it helps fella. And how he not gone for the bird 😅
Thanks Gavin I think he's ok! I'll take a look in any case! Hope all well!
Thanks for bringing us along. Eley Gastight 12
Good stuff - thanks Vlady!
Some amazing and very special finds today.
Absolutely amazing finds Alexander, that buckle was amazing and that Bronze spout is really super cool. Great job. 👍🏻
Thanks Sgurr!
I just watched a clip of your dog chasing his tail while you were trying to dig. It made me laugh so hard. Your channel has come a long way and it's quite polished, in my opinion. Love watching you! Your enthusiasm is infectious. I found a mercury dime last year, my first silver, and it was exciting! Cheers from Oregon USA!!
Good stuff Lee and thanks very much! Hope all well over there and All the Best, Alexander
Enjoy your content.most of all its like getting a free tutorial, with you freely giving us all your knowledge & the teleporting back to HQ bit So funny when you say “I’m not really going & I will have to lug this around all day!” Great work many thanks

Hi Alexander! You always find such amazing things! I really liked the ornate buckle and the dog shaped spout!
Thanks Belinda and sorry not to get back to you sooner! Hope all well and All the Best!!
GREAT CLIP, MY FRIEND!! Enjoying some Moorish weather today in nonrmally sunny Los Angeles. Listing Ebay bits and bobs today for a friend. Not terribly fun! Glad to see you back out! Cheers to the pup!!
Interesting finds, that dog shaped ewer spout! Gorgeous! Some very unusual pieces.
Thanks Tucker and hope all well with you..and sorry not to get back to you sooner! All the Best, Alexander
Hi Alexander. What a day. This must have been the greatest variety of objects and time span of them that you have ever had. What a year this has been thus far. Great to see Tasci looking out the window and perhaps giving you the hit that he needs to be taken on a dig.
Ha! he gets a lot of ewxercise John he needs it! Hope all well and sorry its taken me so long to reply! All the Best, Alexander
I do love a buckle.....well done. Love the spout too. X
I've never had a spout before Amanda, big lumps arent they, makes you think how much the whole thing would've weighed, especially with liquid in it…! Hope all well with you and thank you for watching!
Hi Alexander. Had some very sad news this morning so your video cheered me up a treat. Thank you, cheers, John.
I am sorry to hear that John hope you are ok
Well done. Love the finds. Your mediaeval buckle and strap end collection must be really something now. Love the twittering skylarks, too, but that vertiginous sky made me feel a bit dizzy at times.
The patina on that crotale bell was stunning.
Fantastic finds again Alex . Love those buckles looking forward to the next video more info with the seal box lid . Len
Out tonight Len...and sorry not to get back to you sooner! Hope all well and All the Best!
Great vid as always Alex. Love the Seal box lid. As a Taxi driver I have been taking a Director from Bonhams who specializes in furniture around Lincolnshire this week and I thought of you. He was very interested in our great hobby.
Thanks Mick - I wonder who he was I may know him! Hope all well!

Well, that was an entirely average day, Alex 😂 Goes to show that you can winkle out some great finds amongst the shotties and other detritus!
Ha! Thanks John I keep meaning to email you - I will later and hope all well!!!
Hmmm....you should have hit that part of the field earlier. Quite a busy part full of good stuff. That Mercury dime is something most detectors in the States would be happy to find. I have one in my little stash of coins. The little bluebirds have shown up here. I am enjoying their happy little songs.
Nothing beats birdsong Cyndye.... I am afraid in my old age I am losing my hearing to the higher pitched ones... oh well! 😁
I look forward to learning about the seal box lid. What a fabulous find!
I will do it next time American Dreme thanks for watching!
Fantastic finds. It's great to watch your videos. Even here in Southeastern Finland, you can look for metal when the snow has melted a lot, but the ground is still frozen.
Thanks Anno - hope it thaws out for you soon and nice to hear from you! Hope all well
Hello Alexander you've probably done.your research already on the American Mercury Dime . Key dates 1916 D value up to 30k.1921 up to $1800.00
My God I better take a closer look Lori - gulp!!!!! 😁
Hi Alexander, wonderful video. I wish my school teachers would have been as interesting as your video productions. I so liked the kettle spout of the dog’s head. I just shake my head at people that tell me I can’t possibly find certain things. Most of them can’t because they don’t put the effort into learning their detector. Then you have to put the hours into hunting. I have been so lucky at finding some tremendous finds. But I do allot of research as well. Thanks for taking us along on your outing… John
It's a funny hobby John - everyone thinks they are an expert don't they??!! Including me most of the time!!! Hope all well and thanks as always for watching! All the Best, Alexander
@@HolzHammerSagas
Alexander, it is a funny hobby. You mean we aren’t experts. I often feel like a genius. I would love to come to England one day for some searching. I’ve done some on my East coast and gotten some older material. But I have gold nuggets to find up at where I go. I use my MineLab GPZ7000 for most gold, but I think my XP Deus 2 would do okay. As soon as the shoulder gets better I’m going to give it a try. Best wishes… John
Great video as always Alexander.
Nice selection of finds 👌
Have a good weekend and I’ll look forward to your next video 👍
Thanks Darren and hope you have a good weekend too!
Wonderful video as always, Alex. Hope you had a great time goofing around. Nice. Cheers for now.
Great Goofin' so it was Nick thanbjk you! 🙏😁
Ooh, I did enjoy that! Thanks for sharing all the information on your amazing finds. Always so good to see Tasci :)
Wonderful video Alexander, some fantastic finds, apart from the cartridges, we all know that feeling. I love the roman seal box plate, I look forward to the update next week. Ignore the negative comments people make, they're only jealous. Just keep up the fantastic work Alexander. Have a great weekend. Neil
Thanks Neil - you too and All the Best, Alexander
Absolutely amazing finds Alexander and a great 2024 for you, thank you for sharing with us all and all the best to you, cheers Arthur

I found a dog head water spout also , in January . I love mine. Thank you for another great you tube video 😄
Did you SuperC? Well done; rather wonderful aren't they??!! Hope all well!
I totally agree that you should dig as many good signals as possible on fresh ground. Some great footage and atleast your honest about not finding anything good sometimes and you gotta take the rough with the smooth.
thanks Robbie and hope all well!
Unbelievable dig Alexander😮 I am amazed by the buckles you find! Love a good buckle😊 amazing content As always❤❤
Thanks Mark and sorry not to get back to you sooner its all been a bit hectic!
Another amazing group of finds. Very entertaining. Gray.
Ha! Thanks Grahame!😁🙏
Hi Alex, is it too simplistic to think that the seal box lid is from a box that a 'nobleman' kept his personal seal in. Lovely find. Keep up your hard work. All the best. Victor.
Thats sort of exactly what it is... see tonights episode for the update and hope all well! 😁
HolzHammerSagas, When you teleported back to headcorters you left your gear behind.😂 Thanks for saving history for us while metal detecting. New subscriber here.

I know.... I'll update on that in the next vid... out soon!
Fantastic as always Alexander.....Best nugget.
Thanks Nugget! 😁🙏
Hi Alexander, hope you're well. Another great video and amazing finds.
A friend found one of those spouts a few weeks ago, it was the first time I'd seen one.
I love buckles, I have a soft spot for them, don't know why, they just seem so tactile I think, you've found some fantastic buckles there.
I have bit of a soft spot for buckle too Gary! Hope all well!
Great stuff. Andy
Thanks Andy! 😁🙏
The pin fire shotgun bases date from the American Civil War over across the pond and include the same maker. A bit later than you cited.
Very good, thank you David and All the Best, Alexander
Good to see you back
Thanks very much and trust all well with you!
It always makes me wonder Alex, why are rings lost? Generally they are beyond a knuckle so why? Very odd. Another interesting video. 👍
Good point, Grassy, I never thought of that but they do don't they? 😊 hope all is well with you, and nice to hear from you!
26:50 Thats a mood ring. I once found one of them and then a real gold ring on the same day. considering rings are not common i believe there must have been some connection.
Hi Alexander, good to see you and Tasci.
I recently bought the deus 2 remote as an upgrade, fantastic fun but still love using it as the lite ws6 master. It seems more comfortable some how.
Anyway hope all is well, roam, find and enjoy.

Thanks Jonny - i suspect the remote is a very good addition - I am so used to judging by just my ears I dont know any other way! And sorry not to get back to you sooner! Hope all well and All the Best, Alexander
Absolutely astonishing Alex!!

Well done young man, great dig, which I really enjoyed 😁👍

Always love your videos and awesome finds. Those "winged liberty" or Mercury dimes are one of the most found silver coins for me here in Vermont , USA. Gotta get back to the UK to detect one day

I was there in 2006 for a 10 day detecting holiday
always wonderful🍀🍀🍀
Thank you Stephan thats much appreciated! 🙏
Some really nice buckles! Well done
Thanks AncientH! Hope all well
I wonder how that dime got there?? Do they have fare ground events or horse riding in the area? That would make sense if a visitor was in the fields.
You get some great finds and I just hope I find something of decent age it's still good fun digging up copper n brass its teaching me the difference in sounds from different metals.
Yo will get there soon Robbie I look forward to hearing about it!
Really great finds, well Done!

Wonderful finds ! The Mercury dime will be 90 % silver and I am yet to find one, did you see the year and mint mark ? some can be quite valuable. I do however have the same ring find 😄🇨🇦
Do you Steve? Is it very valuable??!! 😂 Hope all well over there and nice to hear from you!

Hi i’ve only just got my first ever metal detector and to be honest I find your videos so interesting I’ve not been out yet and I’m just trying to learn my new metal detector I’m just hoping one day I find some fantastic things like you do.
I am sure you will Leslie but just get out there as soon as poss and start working it out for yourself I think you will find everyones videos more helpful opnce you have a feel for how it works - a lot of it is trial and error and making mistakes - good luck and I look forward to hearing how you get on!!!
Strange buckle indeed the 1st one over never saw one. As for the 2nd one it's a bit strange itself such a long adjustment piece whatever ya call that thing that adjusts which loop you want it to tighten up against your waist lol
Thanks Joseph you are getting about as technical as me there!!! 😁
Nice Lavabotorium haed.

Hope all is well. ✌️👍🇦🇺🦘🇦🇺
Nice video as always, appeciate the editing too,. How do u keep your ear buds in? I glued mine (Senheisers) to ear clips from a cheaper set, as when dogging theyve fallen out at times previously. Dave

Mostly these sorts of bits and pieces as they are worth next to nothing Mark and the Landowners generally aren't particularly interested... more valuable stuff tends to get split 👍
