Loading a container at Visscher Lumber for export oversees. We are able to package for custom export sizing and load any size of containers for your export needs.
As a trucker i've done this kind of work a number of times. I usually take this kind of load to a rail yard to put on a train in a container just like this one.... I admire the skill those lumber guys have in loading into a containerb its like performing delicate surgery in some ways....👍👀
You can see how the yellow straps are choke wrapped around the middle of all 3 units. The long end of the strap has been taped up to the front of the bottom package. Upon receiving they will attach the long end of the strap to a machine and pull them out.
Just go to a job agency and tell them you want to start driving forklifts. Most places will train you on a small lift and you move up to bigger machines depending on your job.
the easy alternative is what is called a flat pack, which is the floor and ends of a container, so effectively is just a platform. Loading can easily be done from the sides as there is no sidewall or roof.

Really should be on flat beds only, i hate to get loads like this, especially if you work as an LTL driver, when a place doesn’t have a dock

its cheaper than using a lot of staff to load it by hand, and the strap costs a lot less when you buy them in quantity, not one at a time.

the big yellow strap round each pile is used to haul it out with a truck, they dont unload it by hand.
