Which material you use for these? 18mm Multiplex? And which type of tree is recommended? I also wonder how to get a proper curved section in the middle? Where to purchase/order?
I was thinking about 18mm multiplex beech. But I keep on wondering on the bracings, are there any sizes giving? And the "bRaCe" which is waved/curved like camel in the background middlesection, are there any sizes/radii giving?

Simple awesome cool looking design. Perfect for a miniture version and the true size. Perfect for t obuild a mini version such as, dual 6.5's LOL. A miniture dual 6.5's version and dual 8 inch and dual 10 inch - 12 inch and 15 inch and 18 inch or even maybe 21's. (Just a cool idea to do if ya wanted a miniture version of the actual full big size but miniture version is dual 6.5's i think would be perfect driver size for a miniture version that got some insane impacting bass from dual 6.5's?? i would love that tooSimple awesome cool looking design. A bunch of the mini KS28 dual subwoofers but instead of 18 inch drivers, it's 6.5 inch drivers XD LOL. 300 watt or 400 watt 6.5 inch drivers. Would maybe be perfect for " April Fools day " XD
this design is simple, why not a horn subwoofer, they seem to be more efficient and can play the bass better outdoors, from what I learned is that ports need bass loading to create more SPL, whereas the horns are just synthesising the bass wave, giving you bass at the exit of the mouth, so you don't need bass loading, but the box is a lot bigger
@@matsangvikasphol4136 no, but my software says 133 db at 40 hz, which is still really good. The sub I built does 136 db at 37 hz. That is for the pair.
@@erikkroll2154 i like the design and i know that l acoustics ks28 is powerfull. Im toing to build 4 or 6 of them if They are good. So should i built or not? Can i trust the design?
@@matsangvikasphol4136 yes, you can trust the design. It is perfectly fine. It just won't go as low or loud as he is saying. What will you be using them for? In a club or open air?
I made 4 of them with 18TBW100. Works great, and deeeep.
how did you bend the wood for the port?
How did you make the port?
