I played this a while ago because I remembered playing it back then and liking it. This time I was appalled at how tedious it actually is. Sometimes things are not as good as how you remember them to be.
Haha, yeah this is the game I was thinking about! Don't remember it being this slow, wow. Having to run back and fourth to get the pieces is quite tedious. You managed to generate everything as far apart as possible too lol. Sorry to have put you through this, but a big thanks for the amazing shout out :).
When you hacked something you had to match various shaped pipes similiar to the ones in this game to make liquid flow through the terminal. It was a lot quicker though and you had a short amount of time to do it before the terminal would blow up. They did away with this mini game in Bioshock 2 in favor of a different one :( I think there's other games as like this as well, just cant think of any others off hand. Nice video as always!
Ever hear the one about when grandpa was a kid, his trip to school was by going 15 miles in the snow, uphill...both ways...and he liked it? Well, when I was a kid, I was blowing away ICBM's over the heads of a thousand doomed city dwellers, munching away of dots while fleeing the undead, shooting at robots and aliens and tanks an planes and...NOT doing virtual construction in simulated real time. It was the dark age of gaming, but...that was stone age manual labor.
yes i watched it through :) and thank you for putting these up. question are you using an emulator or real hardware. if real hardware disk tape or SD disk....(err sd disk = disk emulator or simulator that uses a memory card)
Whoah, this looks incredibly dull! Having you go and pick up every piece like that, horrible design choice :o By the way, will there not be a live stream today?
hahahahaha. this was like one of those odd-ball episodes of cartoon show where they torture the audience by making them watch something like a jar of mayonnaise or a character twiddling their thumbs for 5 minutes...
I love the C64 and even enjoy the really old simple games like this, but I would never have the patience to play this game. FAR too slow and repetitive.
I remember this game. I remember never playing it twice in a row.
I remember playing this back in the day and liking it. I don't think I would have the patience for it nowadays.

Imagine the boredom if I didn't speed up the middle by 5x!
You are The Master of Patience :)

Another one of those release as many games in as short as possible time ones :)
One of my favorites too!
Playing this game is more like a hard work than fun.
Was also on the VIC and IBM PC (MS-DOS...well obviously since Windows wasn't a thing in 1983...LOL)
I gotta tell you. If I had an actual pipe next to me, I'd beat myself with it rather than watching this again.
To the games defence, it is 1983 early release...
I wonder if this game inspired the developers who made Bioshock with hacking terminals. Nice video as always!

OK, I noticed (too late) that you had a stream yesterday, so I was wondering if that was a replacement for todays stream, or something like that :)
Half Blind Games is my fav pal from YT channels :].
Probably more fun with more houses when you get limited funds to just draw straight lines. Good idea for a puzzle game but it does get quite tedious.
If it was painful to watch at five times the original speed, it was even more so when playing at normal speed :)
It's safe to say that I'm glad I didn't flush my money away on this one back in the day.

Very cool video. Game a little slow.& simple but it will make you think.
Graphics remind me of Lode Runner on the Apple II. :)
One day :)

***** Absolutely. There are literally 10 000 better games to play instead of this...
Reminds me of Pipe Dream, but much, much worse.
I thought you had learnt your lesson..
Thumbs down for not being Raku kids
Probably one of the most boring games I have ever seen.
